Had a problem with my Samsung TV failing and under 3 years old. Samsung were adamant that it was outside of warranty so was no concern to Samsung. Sue advised me on how to approach this and Kev provided me with an independant reports which along with a letter to Samsung has resulted in the repairs being fully financed by Samsung.
Needed to replace a "Smart" tv as it was too complicated for me. Sue was really helpful and understanding. Kev sourced and re-furbed a "dumb" tv and installed it for me along with explaining the usage.Patience, from them both, was needed and received
I have had an extremely good service from Sheffield TV Repairs. Kev came out the same day to look at my tv, which had stopped working the weekend before Christmas. He did an initial diagnosis, brought me a loan tv and took away the broken one. Throughout our communication, he was clear, open and honest about what would happen. The call out charge was reasonable and he gave an indication of the possible cost of repairing the old tv.
Our Tv was intermittently switching off mid programme so we contacted Kev for his advice, finding him after his excellent reviews.He gave what sounded to be good advice over the phone and arranged to come and collect the Tv a couple of days later when the repair process was fully explained. The fault was located before costs were incurred and we agreed for a repair to go ahead, this was done with the Tv being returned a few days later after it being fully tested on the bench.Overall we found the service from Kev to be excellent as expected from such a nice guy and would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.
Fast & friendly service. When I first contacted them by phone I was given detailed information of their process & estimated costs. Before going ahead with the repair I was contacted by phone with the exact cost. TV picked up & dropped off. I recommend their service.
Very relieved to have my dual DVD & VCR player fixed. My experience with Kev and Sue was nothing but positive from my first call. I had called a previous company before that had not offered much hope about my device and advised it was pretty much scrap. I came across Sheffield TV repairs to see if they could help and from the start Kev and Sue were very attentive and optimistic that there was a chance the device could be repaired fully. They also advised that if it wasn’t able to be fixed that they could offer me a similar alternative device which was reassuring. It was very convienient for me as a disabled person for Kev to come straight to my home and collect and drop off the device. Kev and Sue were great communicators throughout the service and have provided me with allot of information about the stages of the repairs and would often call me with updates. In the end the device was fully repaired and working beautifully. I would definitely recommend and use Sheffield TV repairs again.
Prompt service, Kevin came out to pick up our TV after explaining the problem. The repair was completed on time and the TV was returned to us reinstalled working better than ever. We are very happy with the service and Kevin was friendly and very helpful.
Really quick and helpful service. We had a TV that developed a fault at just under 5 years old. Kevin came out and assessed the TV within a couple of days, before Sue sent us a report confirming it had developed a manufacturing fault. We were able to return this to where we purchased it for a pro rata refund under the Consumer Rights Act.
Kevin provided us with a loan TV and kept us informed of progress with our own TV repair. He was very helpful and we are very satisfied.
From Sue answering the phone and dealing with my initial enquiry in a very professional warm manner… to Kevin collecting my tv which had a problem with the back lights and delivering it back fixed within a week. Great job all round and a pleasure to deal with. I know where I’ll be recommending people to go if they have any issues with their televisions. 👍🏻
Called sheffieldtvrepairs.com re a matter with a guitar I wanted resolving, Kevin came to my home, established the issue, took the guitar away and returned the reconfigured guitar to my home less than two working days later. Excellent service, excellent comms, excellent job done, top bloke too.
Kevin called on request after my Samsung QLED tv started blurring - the screen was worn out. We discussed buying another set through his links with a warehouse, but my choice was not available.However, he gave very useful advice from his experience in after care. We discussed the makes which he finds more reliable and, importantly, which of the major outlets are the best and worst to deal with, when something goes wrong within the manufacturer’s extended warranty period.There were also useful general comments about installation, all with no pressure to buy through his firm.I was impressed and would certainly contact them again in the future.CGB
Excellent service ,, took my Roland synthesiser to be repaired ,, also a pcb board out my other synth that I totally messed up,, thought would be un repairable ,, but hey they repaired my synth and the other board as well,,, I was well pleased ,, also the lady on the phone was so bubbly and helpful,, and last but not least kev,, the guy who sorted it all out top man ,, will use them again,, well recommended 👍👍

We had problems with the tv in one room. We have a quite complicated system linking tvs in different rooms.Kevin came out very promptly and identified the problem. Very reasonable call out charge. He gave us a few alternatives to replace our very old, and expensive system. Having talked through the alternatives with him, we are replacing our old system with something that will give us similar coverage for a much reduced monthly fee. Very professional and friendly.
What can I say what a brilliant service from start to finish. Sue took down my details and booked an engineer in for me. The engineer came when said on time sorted the issue there and then with the advice I needed. Everything has been dealt with and I’m very happy with the service given and fully recommend using this company. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 10/10
I found both Sue and Kevin very helpful to deal with. My father's 5yr old TV started playing up, after a conversation with Sue who put me at my ease, the tv was collected the next day. Kevin called after assessing the problem to give me the choice of repairing the tv or purchasing a new one. As the cost was very reasonable we went with a repair. This was done in a matter of days. Kevin set the tv up and ran through what had been done. So thank you both for everything.
