Customer service is great

Customer service is great. Couldn’t be more pleased. Shipping is a big problem though. Very slow processing. In today’s market, shipping should never take this long.

Selkirk as a Company, a class-act with stellar customer service and willingness to listen to player-feedback & ideas!Purchased the BOOMSTICK at Launch, and 2 weeks later, a second one!!Fantastic foam core, sweet-spot, grip,pop & power. Pretty good spin.The only improvement that might take that Paddle from 9.5 on a scale of 1-10 would be to increase the grit & friction for highest RPMS for any spin shot.Prior to the BOOMSTICK, got the SLK ERAthen a second a few weeks later.Best Poly-honeycomb core Paddle ever!Selkirk Rocks!— Lou V.

Selkirk is not friendly to return/exchange

I bought a paddle from their website for a Xmas present for a family member. By the time I gave the gift and was told that this was not quite what they wanted, my 30 day return window had expired. I wrote to Selkirk to ask if I could either return or exchange the paddle a week after the end of this 30 day window and was told that I was out of luck. This seems very inflexible considering I would be happy to exchange the paddle for an appropriately sized one. Partially my fault, but I am disappointed in Selkirk's customer service.

As a new pickleball player

As a new pickleball player, it is disappointing to have this be my first experience with a company that is widely regarded as a premier brand. I made a purchase during the holiday season specifically requesting expedited service and was genuinely excited to invest in my first high-end paddle. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations.Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, communication was extremely limited. Customer service availability extending into 2026, rejected emails, and a lack of response across multiple channels—including Instagram, Facebook, Shop, and Affirm—left no clear path for assistance. Even my bank was involved in attempting to rectify an order that ultimately did not process until three business days after the original purchase date.For a brand positioned at a premium level, the lack of accessibility and timely communication is concerning. Expedited services, in particular, require clear and reliable support, which was not present in this case.I hope that, over time, improvements are made to customer communication and order resolution processes. At present, however, I cannot justify a rating higher than one star given the repeated unsuccessful attempts to obtain support and clarity regarding my order.Selkirk would benefit from realigning its customer service practices to better honor customer needs, orders, and expectations—especially for first-time buyers.
