Can't give zero or negative number of stars

Can't give zero or negative number of stars is the only reason they get any stars. This company contracted Familiar Movers (another "one star" company to ship my household items on schedule. Now I am nearly two months past the last delivery date "window", and they actually did say it was my fault Weekly calls to their "customer anti-service" rep have yielded only greater frustration. the last know location of my goods are still in the pick-up city and have made no progress towards arriving in Texas, yet they claim they have tried to deliver. All I ever get from "customer service" is basically one form or another, along with great uncertainty of the actual physical whereabouts of my household items: 'we have no idea when we're going to ship your things, we really don't care, because we have your money and your stuff and you ought to be happy with that!'Looking at other reviews, I think its time for a class action lawsuit as this seems to be their business, and their proxy Familiar Movers in this as well.

DON'T USE THIS BOOKING COMPANY!!

DON'T USE THIS BOOKING COMPANY!!! They deserve a minus 10-star rating. They suck you in with a low quote and then the actual movers show up and the price is three times as much!! The actual movers they hired for my cross-country move (Luxury Van Lines, New Jersey) were equally awful. I'm betting when I actually unpack the broken and upside-down boxes I'll be replacing so much of my kitchen items will need to be replaced. For any future big move, I will use PODS and their loaders. They got my household goods across the country but in horrific shape. A ceramic knob was broken off one of my dressers, and several of my plastic bins have their tops broken. They overestimated the size of my move by 150 square feet or more - so I paid them way too much and rented a larger storage space than needed. They just seem to change their story and how they want to be paid as they go along with no real explanation. I just can't say enough bad things about this company!

I hired them for relocation

I hired them for relocation, they gave me different price and made me sign contract right then saying this price will change if I don’t sign contract right then! When the truck arrived price changed to 3 times more when I the listed furniture was same but they said since they haven’t seen it while giving quote so I have to pay $9000, I had no option other than pay that huge amount, then I was told several times that it will be delivered in 7-10 days but that too changed once the stuff was loaded and it got delivered after 24 days, I kept calling customer service every day and they were so rude and mean and said it will take 30 days as per contract but verbally they told 7-10 days! Now after receiving my stuff many things are damaged, broken and missing, I am so disappointed and want to make sure people should know before even thinking of hiring them!

I experienced nothing but…

I experienced nothing but unprofessionalism while dealing with this company. I provided them with a thorough list of things needed to be relocated 3 months prior to move. Discussed and confirmed with them date of relocation and all furniture that needed to be moved, they sent a small 1 bedroom truck that the movers stated will barely fit only 1 bed. The movers had to delay the move til I discussed with the company about what I ordered. They charged me additional $7000 to send a truck big enough to fit all my furniture. I had no choice but to proceed with them since I had paid them down money and they were refusing to refund it. My stuff was then moved to a local warehouse and it took the movers more than 15 days to deliver my stuff when they promised 4-5 business days. This company is a scam, they only shell out your money without providing the services they promise. When the stuff did arrive, multiple items were damaged and broken including dining table, missing box for one of the beds, broken tv screen etc. DO NOT WASTE your money.

If you see a good review on here about…

If you see a good review on here about relocation nation I'm certain it's written by one of their friends. They are the biggest scammers I've ever dealt with. Please don't hire them they will steal your hard earned money. They quoted me a price $2,990.00. Then a week before they doubled it. They wait until you sell your house or tell your landlord your moving so you are in a bind. Switch and bait. I'm shocked they don't have criminal charges brought up. Who knows maybe they have.

SCAM Alert

SCAM Alert. BEWARE! Stay away. Sign with anyone else. They use CareFree Movers who is tied to Steve Coburn and Bethany Cook. Steve has bounced around creating multiple companies and scamming people out of their hard earned money for years.

Avoid this scam!

At the time we booked them they said the goods would be delivered on a certain date. The day before the scheduled pick up they said it would more than double our price to ensure the delivery date. They were RUDE RUDE RUDE. We cancelled the delivery and lost our $800 deposit. Because they did not let us pay with a credit card, we had no recourse to recoup this money. Other reviews demonstrate this is a common ploy. Essentially they hold you stuff hostage and force you to pay ransom to ever get it. Do NOT use these crooks.

Awfullist experience ever

Awfullist experience ever. Told me 1900 to start with to move all my stuff. It went up 300 more and they moved about 1/3 of my stuff. Now have to get a rental. Driver (Blue) was a great guy. They are a joke. Sent him by himself to unload. Were supposed to be here at 8:00. Didn’t show until 5:45 pm. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Rip off!!!

Relocation nation is a fraudulent company run!!

Relocation nation is not a moving company and they go by several different names. That being said my experience with them was horrible they are fraudulent and they committed fraud that I have disputed with my bank. Anytime a company will not take a credit card and only wants zelle or electronic check run! This company is a broker and they have Shady delivery companies that deliver multiple items across the United States so your stuff's going to be packed in with other people's crap and you won't know who is handling it it'll be stored in the warehouse before it goes to your home and the guy that shows up to your home will quote you a different price when he gets there and you'll need to pay him before he unloads your stuff. The guy so called manager that works their name Robert is a full-on liar he contacted me at midnight trying to get electronic check from me and he said he would guide us all the way through the move which was a total lie. The manager of relocation nation is even worse she is a big liar and extreme fraud was done by this company! I can't say enough this company damage my goods and even their claims department is a fraudulent Insurance claim department they tried to give me $75 refund on $8,000 worth of merchandise and then they wanted me to get a notarized signed paper to collect the $75 which is so laughable. People are on to this company scams I have turned them into the FBI as well as the Department of Business and ethics. I have named all their full names and I will be filing a lawsuit against the company soon. There are many more trusted movers out there just do your research unlike me who got sold a bunch of BS.

If I could give a zero star rating, I would

If I could give a zero star rating, I would. Let me begin by saying Relocation Nation is not a moving company, they are a broker. Your belonging will go through several truckers before you receive your property. I was quoted a price of $2,700 for a move from Los Angeles to Florida. When the moving company arrived to the storage facility to pick up my furniture, I was told that I would have to pay an additional $1,300 because Relocation Nation failed to mention that once the trucking company arrives, they charge per cubic square and so the amount that you are quoted is not the amount you will pay. Of course by this time you have paid a deposit of half the quoted amount and you have no idea that Relocation Nation is not moving your furniture but another company is. After my stuff has been picked up and I am signing documents, I was asked when is the first available date of delivery. I said ASAP as I was leaving for Florida the next day. A few weeks have passed and I am inquiring of my belongings and I am told that I signed a document that states they do not guarantee delivery. I asked to see a copy of the document and realized I did not sign it. All of the documents I signed have the same signature except this one. Shawn is the initial person that I spoke with who assured me that he would be helping me throughout my entire move, however he refused to take any more of my calls after he received my deposit and continued to send me text to contact customer service. When my belongings finally arrived in Florida, the delivery driver told me the truck would not be able to come into my housing development and I would have to pay for an additional fee for a U-Haul truck to load the furniture from the truck it was on to another U-Haul to deliver. The driver had never been to the housing development but was basing his information on other housing developments he had been to. A crane fit on our street the day before to replace our roof, however the truck couldn’t fit even though the driver had never been there and didn’t even try. I had to rent a U-Haul to move my property from the moving truck to a U-Haul and hire other movers move the property to my house….Relocation is a nightmare and I would never encourage anyone to use them.

This is a scum

This is a scum. DO NOT use that company. Originally I contacted the company in February for a quote. I got a quote and decided not to use them. In May Grant, the agent, contacted me telling them they can offer 50%off original price because they have a truck in the area at that time. The 50% off quote was 2800$. When the mover arrive we were told the total cost will be 5700$. I am glad we weren’t pressed for time. We said no. I am also glad that we used a credit card. We contacted them and Chase assured us we will get our deposit back. The dispute was we wanted to cancel the contract within the 48 h policy because there were discrepancies between their inventory and the one I provided. The agent Grant assured us everything is ok. It wasn’t, the movers wanted 5700$

Fake Promises to get you locked

I was shopping for moving services and I spoke with the salesperson Theodore on Jan 30th who offered me ~$2300 after the same day booking discount. He said I can cancel this booking(I paid 50% advance) anytime since my tentative move is on May and he will also do a price match if I find someone else who quotes cheaper than this. I trusted him and put my credit card on file and I signed the documents which had a 48 hour refund policy which I didn't notice.I tried to cancel this move on April and I was told that Sales agent left the company and they cannot refund the money I paid. Whatever promises they made over phone is not honored. This is such a malpractice to give Customers wrong promises over phone and take the money.

Horrible Moving Company

Are you interested in lies, deceit, miscommunication, missing & damaged furniture? If so, this is the company for you! Anthony was my moving specialist. He claimed to be high up in the company and provided so much misinformation, it was too late to do anything when our furniture was already loaded on the truck. We were assessed an additional $1000 on pickup when our items fit in the truck. We were told that as long as they fit, our quote was solid and we wouldn’t pay any additional. This was on a supposed recorded line mind you.I was promised a credit of $300 that would go back to my credit card for misquoting the storage cost. Any time I ask about it over the phone or via email, it’s ignored. When it was delivered with less than 24 hours notice at our destination, we have missing items and a good majority of our items were broken. All of our bedroom furniture was less than 6 months old and our paperwork shows “No Damage”. Well now, our items look years old. It was a disappointing experience and I would hope no one ever has to go through what we did.

More like Rip Off Nation

Like the others said this place is a scam. They tell you and quote you one thing then send third party movers who charged me the times what I was quoted. They literally held my stuff hostage until I paid them more. And kept coming up with bogus charges. Never never never use this company!

DO NOT Work with this company

DO NOT Work with this company - They are truly only about making $$$ I had spoke with rep and was told if I cancelled there would be a cancellation fee which I was ok with but now they will not return any of my deposit. Note that I am cancelling 1 1/2 months before the move. When I called they were very matter of fact and not willing to work with me at all answer was no - we can put it on hold the carrier has already been selected for your job - well if it is on hold they still are not working that day or if I cancel it. Customer support said text I'll be in touch ASAP - 2 days later still didn't hear from him.....Ridiculous and would hate to see anyone else have issues
