Reliable Service

We have booked Redbridge Radio Cars for airport runs and have always found them reliable. We have never booked them for Christmas Day but did this year for two separate journeys. They did not let us down for either journey, arriving on time, charging exactly as we were quoted and both drivers were friendly and courteous. We were very happy thank you.

This company are staffed by total…

This company are staffed by total wasters, drivers are either late or 20 minutes too early, controller is better than useless, this is the 3rd time these CLOWNS have let me down, NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, well worth avoiding.

Poor service

My son booked a cab to take him to Seven Kings Station as he was taking Elizabeth Line to airport.The driver came about 10 minutes late even though it was 5 in the morningIt was raining and he didn’t even bother to get out of the car to help with the suitcasesVery poor service, not going to use them again. I’ve been using them for airport run but will not use them anymore and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone

I just had a little read of some of the reviews on this page which are not great and definitely echo my experience this morning....I have actually been using redbridge cars for a number of years and before now never had any problems. Today I booked a cab to pick me up from whipps cross hospital as I'm heavily pregnant. When the drive arrived he was incredibly rude to me on the phone so much so that I didn't feel comfortable getting in the car with him alone. I thought perhaps it was just a one off driver with poor social skills and rang redbridge cars to explain and book another driver. I said I didn't mind waiting again for someone else to come and After around 15 minutes I thought I'd better just check with the cab office that they had been able to book one as usually they send a confirmation text straight away and I hadent received one. During this time the office had obviously spoken to the previous driver who needless to say had not been trutful about his behaviour on the phone and instead of apologising for him they too took quite an argumentative approach.I actuly hung up the phone on them in the end which is not something I'd normally do but I was a bit taken a back by what was going on there to be honest.!!

Been using them for years no pronlems…

Been using them for years no pronlems however theyve closed my local office at redbridge stn. So all cars come from hainault , they have driver shortage especially late evening .I regularly travel from chadwell hth to redbridge in evening and usually 20 mins to wait as you see taxi at hainault on app however i am in a house so not a problem .

Brilliant Service

I booked a cab without reading the reviews on trust pilot but I hat tell you that the reviews don’t justify the service at all . I had a cab booked to pick me and family up on 2/4/2025. I booked a 6 seater as I had extra luggage with me . The car they sent was a Mercedes Vito which was absolutely fantastic. Had more than enough space in it. Driver Shah gave us a brilliant service even offered us water .. I have used so many cab forms before but I must tell you this was the best experience . I live in Hornchurch and they did not hesitate to come here at all . I defo will recommend this service !!

I wish I had read these reviews before…

I wish I had read these reviews before I booked. There were 3 of us with 5 cases. I booked a six seater and was told I had to pay extra. The driver was late and made excuses. He also would not stop trying to justify charging us extra. NEVER again. Please save your money book with another company even if more expensive. They have spoilt which was the end of a lovely holiday.

This cheap company has the audacity to…

This cheap company has the audacity to charge you for the service you don’t receive and when you call that fraud, their response is to tell you to do whatever you can. They owe me £160.Stay miles away from them for your own safety and safety of your loved ones.

Very poor service

Very poor service, often late and now demanding cash up front before taking a passenger. Driver blames the office, the office says it's up to the driver who is apparently self-employed. I would never use this company again.

Wish I could give minus stars!

My elderly mother arranged with the Redbridge Station Office for a cab to take her to her dental appointment in Wanstead about 3 weeks ago. The driver did not listen to instructions and wrenched and destroyed my mum's Rollator when trying to fold it up to load it into his boot. He said it would be OK tied up with string! He then got lost as he wouldn’t follow my Mum’s directions (she gave clear directions as she had been there before). When they got there eventually, the driver took my Mum's destroyed Rollator and told her to follow him whilst he gave her a demonstration of how now she should walk with it! Totally missing the point that she needed it for support. She was upset, feeling insecure and stressed and had to sit on a wall until she could go into the surgery. A family friend had to collect her after her appointment. My Mum complained about the driver to the cab office. The manager. based at the Hainault office, eventually rang her but wouldn't take any responsibility or pay for a replacement Rollator. He was rude and spoke down to her and upset my Mum even more. My Mum wants to forget the experience, but she has lost £150 for the price of a new Rollator. I have delayed writing this review as she has been very stressed, but I want to warn people about using this Company.

The endangered our baby!

I had two disappointing experiences with this taxi company. During the first ride, despite prepayment, the driver demanded extra cash, waking up our newborn upon arrival home after 1 am. On the second ride, despite repeated requests, they failed to provide a car seat and sent the same driver. Inconsistent service and disregard for customer requests. To avoid at all cost!

Disgusting controller (20/11/23…

Disgusting controller (20/11/23 -8.50am) . Screaming down the phone at myself for telling driver off, firstly driver was 20 minutes late as they were every day last week, making my granddaughter late for school again. I had a major hospital appointment today and had a connecting lift , obviously too late , so still trying to juggle appointment. Driver just kept droning on about how he cannot drive down Chelmsford rd and lying about everything. Not worth the time or money. Majority of drivers ok but inept controllers make it a nightmare.

Thieves!

If driver can't get through to you on the phone they will refuse to get their lazy backside out of the car to, God forbid, ring the doorbell. Picking up a child from a school in the middle of the day, who is obviously not allowed their phone on them, they would rather drive off than ring on the doorbell. No common sense at all, such a simple resolution but these people don't have the brain cells for it obviously. Refused a refund or return to actually complete the job. Absolute thieving scumbags. Also extremely rude with zero customer service skills.

Book a reliable cab company instead

UPDATEDriver arrived 2 hours after I landed and made no apology. Claimed he was stuck in traffic but the link to his location showed he was at Heathrow. Either he was double booked or was at the wrong airport. Both the driver and the office claimed it was simply traffic which isn’t true as Google maps and Waze shows traffic is not heavy. Lying adds insult to injury.****I had already booked a return airport transfer to Gatwick with RRC when I had the first awful experience with them. Obviously I would have cancelled the second trip except there was no availability with local cab companies so close to my trip so had to rely on RRC again. I called the day before to triple check everything and was assured everything was in order. I’m now standing at Gatwick waiting for my car because the driver is dropping someone off at Heathrow! I will have to wait over an hour for him. Again it’s a day when the rail workers are striking. I will never use this useless, incompetent and unprofessional company again and I suggest if you need a guarantee of getting somewhere on time, you don’t either.
