A Must See for Professionals Working with Autism!

I really enjoyed the Play Conference! Bringing in professionals who have Autism themselves, offered so much more value and validity! I am a mom with a son who has Autism and a Developmental Therapist. The speakers were dead on with so many theories and ideas. I wish my son’s high school staff would be required to listen to the talks. I don’t feel that some of the staff is not quite there yet with how challenging and different learning can be for students who have Autism. There definitely needs to be a change in thinking and practice, and the speakers from this Play Conference were spot on! Thank you!

2025 Play Conference

The 2025 Play Conference was truly a transformative experience for me as a Speech-Language Pathologist. The conference reinforced the importance of play in children's development and validated my approach to therapy. It was motivating to learn how play-based therapy supports language, social, and cognitive growth, reminding me why I incorporate play into every session. The conference left me feeling refreshed, inspired, and ready to apply new techniques in my practice. If you're an SLP or anyone in a helping profession, I highly recommend it—it’s an invaluable opportunity for both professional growth and personal well-being.

Amazing Learning Opportunity (for free!)

I really enjoyed this conference, and it being offered for free was amazing and work great for my needs! Not only have a learned a ton about the methods of play based and child lead therapy, but I can now apply those concepts to the autistic children and AAC users I work with. I also plan to work with primarily autistic children once I finish my degree so this conference gave me a lot of foundational skills for me to start practicing. The freebies from speakers was an added bonus that I greatly appreciate as well! Amazing references for me and families I work with.
