Poor Design, Not Worth It
I originally bought the Phrozen Arco as a Christmas 2024 gift, but after a 1.5-year delay (received January 2026), I ended up keeping it for myself. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing, mainly because of one major issue: the Chroma Kit.The filament feeding system in the Chroma Kit is fundamentally unreliable. During multi-color prints, the printer frequently fails to feed filament correctly. The system either cannot grab the filament, retracts it incorrectly, or gets stuck mid-switch, which causes the printer to pause and throw errors. This happens repeatedly during color changes. Instead of smooth switching, the printer often grinds the filament or fails to push it through properly, forcing manual intervention. I constantly have to unload and reload filament, trim deformed material, and restart prints. On longer prints with multiple color transitions, this turns the entire process into continuous troubleshooting. What makes the situation worse is the absurd amount of material waste. The purge process is extremely inefficient and produces huge piles of discarded filament just to switch colors, yet it still does not reliably prevent color contamination. It feels excessive and outdated, like using multi-color technology from five years ago rather than a modern solution. The overall design feels poorly tested and behind current industry standards. A system built specifically for automatic color switching should be reliable and efficient, but instead it creates extra failure points, wastes material, and requires constant manual intervention.Reliability and usability should be the baseline at this price range, and the Arco does not deliver.

This company shouldnt call themself a company!Over 18 months of delays on the arco which was started on kickstarter in april 2024 should have been released by july 2024. And now IF and thats an BIG IF we might get lucky to see it by the end of 2025..Phrozen clearly has no single clue on how to run productions or even R&D.. this is just insane... and dont even think they will ever reply on your messages because customer service?? they dont know that word as they dont have it.

Only thing Phrozen is design and shipping dates
DO NOT buy any Phrozen products. The only thing Phrozen is the actual designs of the printers and the shipping dates. Take for instance the new ARCO. 😂😂😂 they have had one stubborn engineer on that project. It was suppose to be bigger and faster. Maybe a year and half ago 😂😂😂. Epic fail. And what they have created is garbage. Just go with Bambu or Kobra S1. Save your money. And with tariffs. Yup save your money.

Buyers beware
2 months of silence for them to tell me that they oversold and don't have my printer. They then tried to 'upgrade' my order to a cheaper printer presumably keeping the same price and give me a 10€ coupon valid for a few weeks. I lost about 50€ on money exchange getting a refund and the transfer came from US despite buying through their EU store. What a bunch of clowns.

Honestly I think they robbed me.
I placed a 700 dollar order with phrozen for a printer, wash station, and a curing station. They sent me a bottle of resin then proceeded to send me an email saying that they are going on a week of vacation for Chinese new year so they can’t help me for two weeks. What the actual hell is this company.

Phrozen Suck!!!
The customer service needs to look up the word service. The company decided not to support or provide replacement parts for the Sonic Mini 4K. When purchased there was no indication that the LCD screens have a limited life. When the screen quit working there were no replacement screens. There website is confusing as they still offer mini screens but give no indication that they have discontinued certain models. I asked shipping to confirm this was the correct screen but they shipped the wrong one anyway, charging $30 for shipping. It came USPS ground advantage. Even though we are a public library they refused to accept a return of the wrong screen and seem like they could care less. With this poor service the company is probably destined to fail soon.

phrozen3d defective inferior junk no service or support
phrozen products are woefully lacking given their price, long wait times when you by a product and their 3d resins which wont even print correctly with the settings the company itself gives you. i have had a total of 8 sonic mighty 8k printers 4 were brande new and 2 were second hand. out of all of the phrozen printers only the second hand units worked without fail all the new ones had issues out of the box from dead lcd screens to faulty motors/boards, to powdercoating on vats being poorly applied and coming off the minute resin went into the vat causing it to damage the vat film. i contacted phrozen every time i had an issue with the NEW machines, provided invoices, pics and everything they asked for however even though the machines were supposedly under warranty phrozen didnt honor it causing me to fix them out of pocket. besides the defects of faulty screens, bad powdercoating sticky motors motors that failed to stop, and sticking mid print after being zeroed for the first couple months of owning the sonic mighty 8k's i was having to clean and re-zero it regularly started at every 3 prints until finally it got to the point where it was once a week and then one day i noticed i hadnt had to re-zero it. then i tried using their aqua resins multiple bottles different colors using the settings phrozen supplied to work with the sonic mighty 8k and you guessed it the settings didnt work. the clear for aqua clear for example required 16.500 seconds exposure to print a calibration piece that passed but that is all it could print everything else i tried to print failed. next up is the aqua snow grey again problems i spent weeks trying to get a calibration piece to print starting with 2.000 sec going all the way up to 30 seconds, tried 20-30sec on base exposure and still didnt work, went through the whole bottle of snow grey trying to no avail, then i tried the aqua gray 8k and it has issues of printed layers not sticking together and looking like frills or having bubbles between layers of print ( again no amount of changes has been able to correct this). now i know some people will argue but the facts are ( with the resin at least) that every other manufacturers resin from sunlu/jayo, chitusystems, to siraya tech all print fine with provided profiles so clearly aqua resin was trash.i of course messaged phrozen and got song and dance refused warranty, reluctance to admit manufacturing defects, etc and today i had one of my second hand units with a problem so i messaged about parts and explained past issues and cncerns about quality of the parts i was looking to buy and they offered me 10% off of the purchase price if i bought direct from them which honestly wasnt bad until you saw the shipping cheapest option was $62 regardless of the part ( need a screen that fits in a flat rate mail box? yep still $62 to ship), then you have to figure ( based on others i have spoke with) 2 week wait at minimum for a shipping service that says 4-5 days. then to top it all off they gave some song and dance about workign hard to regain my trust, really you offer 10% off purchase price and think thats going to regain my trust in the brand? keep in mind that is ALL they were willing to do, no finding cheaper shipping method, no replacement resin, nothing just basically telling me take the 10% and give them my money. so people i say to you know if your looking for 3d printers AVOID phrozen, tehre is a reason myself and others have got rid of most if not all of our phrozen machines and bought elegoo saturns and that is because elegoos work andIF you need support you get it, neither of which applies to phrozen3d. phrozen is irreparably damaged in my eyes and i do NOT recommend them in ANY capacity at this point and wont ever again unless they make things right with me and id say there is a fat chance of that.

I've had the printer a few months and…
I've had the printer a few months and came to dissassemble the the resin tank to change the fep film. Screws had siezed in the tank and could not be removed without damaging the vat meaning I have to spend 100 pounds on a new tank. With this kind of build quality I can only suggest people consider other companies.
