Dead batter, and no help

I have had the bike for a couple weeks, charged the battery ONCE, and it stopped taking a charge after that. I've reached out to customer service with no response. An extra battery is $500, but I have no guarantee that won't do the exact same thing. I am incredibly disappointed after spending so much money on something that was supposed to be a main form of transportation, and now I've had to scramble to find something else.

Shipping to Hawaii

I live in Maui, Hawaii and went though a lot of competitive websites and emailed or called to ask if they will ship it here . They replied…NO or we will ship it to a forward shipper but your responsible of contacting the shipper and make the arrangements. I was a little agitated until I found this website . I chatted and told them of my situation . They told me no problem for shipping, then a little over a week later I’m riding my new Perraro Smart E Trike that is very rare here around the Island . Also a lot of people ask where they can get one . Hopefully you may get more business soon, LOL.

First impression: fantastic Shipping, and receiving process. So far product looks extremely well engineered and made. Testing everything out coming soon.

I received the product as expected in good quality order. Packaging of the product was one of the best I've ever seen and the product was received in fantastic working order. Took a five minute ride after I assembled the product and can't wait for my longer debut.

Money well spent!

It arrived on time, it is exactly as described. Assembly wasn't overwhelming, the bolts and screws were where they should be, which prevented having to sort through bags of fasteners. The trike shape, design, and comfort is by far superior to other trikes on the market. It is responsive, and easy to ride. There are 3 different makes of trikes in our household, the Siesta stands out as the Cadillac of them all.

Perraro Siesta semi-recumbent trike

I got the Perraro Siesta semi-recumbent trike for a family member, and it has been a great choice—especially for older riders. The seating position feels very relaxed and supportive, and the backrest makes longer rides much more comfortable. It’s easy to get on and off, and the trike feels stable even at slower speeds, which really helps with confidence.The pedal assist is smooth, the controls are simple, and overall it’s a very comfortable, user-friendly trike. If you’re looking for something that’s gentle on the back and perfect for seniors or anyone who wants a safer, easier ride, the Siesta is an excellent option.

Makes School Runs Easier

Trike's a bit heavy, but when it's moving, it's pretty stable and safe. It took about an hour to assemble, which isn't bad if you take your time. The ride is smooth, the motor gives a nice boost on small hills, and we love using it for park visits and school runs. It's solid and reliable—we like it a lot. The back and fender were a bit trickier to assemble, though.

Good bang for the buck

The trike came packaged well and went together fairly easy. The power, speed and quality are a good deal for the money. My girlfriend is loving her new trike.

Faulty bike and bad customer service

We bought the Perraro ridex e-trike. After only one ride, the welding of the bike seat snapped and broke. It took a month for them to send a new seat (they chose this over paying for someone to fix the welding), which arrived and now requires us to buy a tool which didn't come with the original assembly tools to repair the seat ourselves. No apologies, no compensation and a whole lot of hassle, still over a month later and we haven't used this expensive bike.

Good support after purchase

Good support after purchase. Quick response, and took time to explain things. Mark and Adam are very knowledgeable, and were quick to replace a broken part. A reflector had broken in shipping, and I had a new one in the mail right away

Bike shipped with no seat or post

Bike shipped with no seat or post. Then I was shipped a seat and the WRONG post. A week later I had a complete bike which is AWFUL to ride. Feels VERY unstable and impossible for a 240lb man to fit between the seat with back support and those AWFUL handlebars. I'd send it back but there is a 40% restocking fee and I have to pay shipping. I guess nowhere does it say "satisfaction guaranteed" and now I know why. I'll just try and sell it for ½ price and see if I can recoup SOME of my money.

quality control lacking

The Siesta trike arrived after 1 week but came with a mismanufactured front fork so another was sent. After 2 weeks was able to try the trike out but the reverse feature that swayed me to buy did not work and the company became unresponsive using delay tactics. A couple weeks later, after complaining to Amazon and receiving an OK to return trike, the company responded and wanted me to download an app to cell phone so they could tell me how to fix trike. Poor quality control for a $2500 trike and company wouldn't provide shipment pick-up for a return. A short video of the problem was sent and I do not want to download anything to my cell.

I absolutely love my new e-trike!!

I absolutely love my new semi-recumbent trike. I had a different brand e-bike and was just to nervous on it. My husband said he thought I should get a trike as that would make him feel more comfortable as I did fallover on the bike. I have been practicing on it and am getting more familiar with it. The customer service we got when ordering the bike, was fantastic! My husband called and was able to get the color I wanted, as it showed "sold out" and how quickly it arrived was amazing. It took less than a week. I did lots of reviews of a lot of brands and this one came down to being my top choice. I mean who gives a lifetime warranty on a frame and motor? A company that believes and stands behind their product, that's who.

Unless you like problems, this one is a pass....

I was so excited to ride my Panda and it arrived so fast. The assembly video is useless and several important things are not mentioned or unclear. I got it together and it is fun to ride. Not for the faint of heart in SF!! After putting battery in, the key won't turn. Every time I ride it I have to go through from 5 to 35 minutes of trying to move battery in tiny increments to line up the hole and get the key to turn. After a few rides, the motor would not proceed at traffic lights. I am sitting with all the other bikes at traffic signal, green light they all proceed and I am stuck. Try to peddle nope, try to turn the right handle power nothing. I am not squeezing the brakes but nothing. Eventually it decides it will work. Then one Monday I finally get key turned, get on it, and it will only go very slow and only in 2nd power level. Nothing else works. tried emailing support, both addresses, nothing. Tried amazon support who sent message to seller, nothing. I finally call and the guy said he will call me back, nope for 3 days. Called again asking if my trike was a return or something, no response. He made an appointment to call me via Whats App on the weekend. I ended up having to call him. We went through all settings because most of the settings had turned into a long series of numbers. Asked him how that happened and was fed some BS about microwave transmissions. Cept trike was in underground cement parking where even your cell doesn't work. We went through and changed the settings that we could, but some could not be accessed. Then I was back in the CS abiss where following up got me zip. Until out of the blue, i receive a new controller. Great! Except now I'm back at where i was originally. Trike is great until motor cuts out and there i sit until it decides to work again. Oh and the new controller makes all power levels much less powerful. I have to put it on 3 or 4 to even move at a realistic speed. I am so disappointed and feel like I was taken advantage of. I am pretty sure I was sold a trike that was a screwed up 2nd or return. $2000 is a LOT of money to me. I have brain injury and the trike was my attempt to deal with the uneven terrible sidewalks in SF tripping me. It seems most positive customer service reviews are for people who only bought parts or tires. Perraro CS is silent, then only minimally responsive. The looks of the trike are deceptive as it appears sturdy and solid. However, it is the motor, battery installation, key, etc that stink. Out of the 3 months I've had it, this trike has worked maybe 1/3 of the time. I believe I will be lucky if it runs for the rest of the year. I would have returned it if they had reasonable policy. How am i supposed to pack it like i received it and shipping is unrealistic. However, living in CA I am tempted to put it in my car and take it to them. Oh, and no one in SF will work on it in that I can find.
