I take 2 Joe K Walsh mandolin courses. His teaching is easy to understand and his lessons are quick and easy to fit into my routine. The play along tracks are excellent too!

The advanced fiddle course by Chad is very good. The details in his style are clear and concise. If a person is looking to improve their skills in playing the fiddle I highly recommend this course.

Superb value, variety, and instruction
Great instructors overall and site easy to navigate. The ability to change out the course is very useful if you happen to try something that might be above your level you can easily pick an alternate. I note your offerings are becoming more varied as another plus

Ive been playing swing fiddle for many years. I got fairly good at it, but never was great. I started a Django style band in 2006. We broke up after Covid, and I pretty much quit playing, When I was invited to join a Western Swing band last year, it gave me new inspiration. I’ve re-dedicated myself to studying technique and practicing everyday. PegheadNation came along at exactly the right time. Clear, concise helpful instructions. I can move forward at my own pace, and go back to review lessons as often as I need to. It’s exactly what I need at this point in my playing.I’ve decided to be the best damn fiddle player I can be, and I don’t think I could do that without you guys. Thank you!!

Fantastic Place to Learn Clawhammer Banjo
Wonderful lessons from the best clawhammer banjo instructor, Evie Ladin. Great format and I have learned an incredible amount in so little time -averaging 4 songs in a month! It’s a great platform to learn music, step-by-step.

Great instructors and excellent content
I really have come to enjoy the instructors’ (Gilchrist and Walsh in my case) teaching style, which emphasizes ear training and learning by playing along over reliance on tabs (although tabs are provided). It took some adjustment, but I’m finding I internalize the material much better, and I’m training my ear. And I like their arrangements of the tunes they teach, and the selection of material. Great courses.

Peghead provides all the tools needed to improve a student’s playing. It spans from learning good fundamentals as a beginner to developing overall musical knowledge. Many teachers instruct at camps which helps to deepen the connection.

Easy to swith to different programs
It was easy from me to shift from one program to another. For example, I began on Bluegrass Banjo instruction and then was able to cancel that and move into Clawhammer banjo instruction. Peghead Nation actually made this very easy.

Inspiring Instruction for Guitarists at Any Age
The step-by-step videos are excellent for this older guitarist! Other programs offer similar features, of course, but these instructors are not only accomplished—they’re clearly joyful when they play, and that enthusiasm is contagious. An excellent site overall.

Accessible and affordable.
