In the flats where I live in London

In the flats where I live in London, they didn't bother turning up for the first week to ticket commuters, but when they did it was a Saturday and they blitzed all the residents who were experiencing delays getting their permits. I think they are in league with the Housing Association who endlessly delay permits with excuses.If they have never lost a court case then I imagine it means they have never tried bringing any - most people are protected if they have a tenancy or lease that does not make any of the parking terms clear.

I was ticketed in the car park… no compassion

I was ticketed in the car park belonging to the block of flats I live in. I had returned from hospital with my very distressed daughter in the car having just witnessed my husband/her father pass away. My parking permit was visible but had slipped so the only thing showing was the PTL logo. The last thing on my mind was whether my permit was positioned correctly! I appealed this stating mitigating circumstances and was given a very rude and perfunctory response basically saying if I tried to take them to court I would loose and that they had not lost a single case previous. I could not face a lengthy court battle for the sake of £70, especially as the timing was not great. This is what they bank on obviously, that you will give up. Where is the compassion these days?
