Do not go to old brick.
Old Brick sales people will tell you everything you want to hear, but when something goes wrong management will lie about what their sales people told you. they sold us a warranty program for our furniture and now the couch broke for the second time first time covered by Fox steel the insurance company denied it. flex furniture is supposed to be the best 18 months into it has broken twice. Do not recommend flex steel or old brick go somewhere else.

I recently purchased a mattress from Ashley's in Rutland VT. I did not like it & exchanged it for one in Old Brick in Rutland. That too was not the right one for me. I also had to pay extra for the delivery of the 2nd mattress in the amount of $85.59. Tried to return it & was told it was not returnable. I was also told at the time of purchase that if I didn't like the 2nd one that I could get a store credit. That was not true. Now I am out 1,200.00 & a mattress that I simply cannot sleep on. I really thought that I would get a credit. I am so upset that I'm out this amount of money & that no one will pick up this mattress. I think you should hand a sign in your windows in both stores that says " You will never get your money back or credit for your purchase."

This review is for the Amsterdam, NY location!This is one of the WORST store to do business with! I was in the Amsterdam store to buy a couch! They OVERCHARGED on the delivery charge & the ARGUED with me that they didn’t! The manager at that store WAS VERY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL!! Lied about charging 2 delivery charges! I cancelled the order & went elsewhere! I WILL never buy from Old Brick ever again and I advise everyone NEVER to buy from this Company either!!

A fantastic experience!!
My husband & I had been looking for chairs to match an existing cherry dinning table for a long time. We had almost given up when low & behold we walked into old brick & found the perfect chair. Then to our further surprise we met up with the salesman Patrick Cooper who had helped us so much in the past at another furniture store. It was like seeing an old friend who we knew we could trust. As usual Patrick did not disappoint and gave us all the info on the Amish made cherry chairs that were made to order. We were able to choose the design, stain, and fabric as well as the color studs used. It was a seamless transition from beginning to end. The chairs arrived exactly when promised and are a perfect match. It looks like the table & chairs were purchased together. We couldn’t be happier with the service & product at Old Brick & will definitely return there for any future needs!!

FURNITURE GOOD, FINANCE NOT
Furniture sale went fine. Financing is a disaster. TD Bank is who Old Brick uses and they are a complete nightmare. I am forewarning all people to not use financing that is tied into TD Bank. I have struggled with this since my purchase (almost two months). Old Brick says they can't help and TD Bank is simply unapologetic about their incompetence and lack of care.

New chair broken, extrememly dissapointed
I bought 2 recliners by Flexsteel. One was delivered inoperable, broken and with staples on the material in front. The chairs were delivered 1 1/2 months ago. I have called and visited in person. I am told the part was ordered should be in within a week. No calls, no compensation, silence unless I call and still to no avail Very disappointed

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS FURNATURE COMPANY. DO NOT PUTCHASE THERE SCAM WARANTY .They sell you a warranty and when you need to file a claim They blame everything on wear and tear. But when you Purchase the plan, Old Brick has there sales people lie right to you face and tell you it covers everything MGF defects, pet damage ANYTHING that happens its covered.. but they don't tell you there are hidden stipulations. you never see them until you get a claim that you have to file. And to the Customer care Witch you are rude and nasty, should be fired. There are many reviews online with several people having the same issue I have with the scam warranty. I have filed small claims with Clifton park town court and have sent a claim to the Attorney general and BBB about the actions and scam along with taking advantage of customers. Old brick Screws their customers that support them in there community's. Shame on them. I will never buy from them again or I will always recommend people stay away from them.

Repair to dresser - Old Brick
I had a dresser that had some damage and a young man (Ray) assessed the situation and said he could fix it...I almost rolled my eyes cause it really looked like it could not be fixed. A few minuutes later he asked me to take a look and to my amazement it was absolutely perfect! Ray was professional, friendly and worked quickly...thank you ...10 stars

The one star is for the people who are nice and try to be helpful. Having said that, I will never buy another piece of furniture there again NOT will I buy the coverage protection plan. My wife and I had a dining room table purchased in 2016. The plan only covers accidental damage (which we recently had), BUT the policy company (Montagefs.com) used the normal wear and tear of the table as a reason to deny our claim. Basically they are using the condition of the table that I couldn't claim under the policy (normal wear and tear) to deny a legitimate claim (accident). Old Brick's answer was that I should have been filing claims along the way as the table aged even if the claim would have been denied. I'm not exactly sure how that would have helped because they wouldn't have fixed any issues caused by normal wear and tear. They just would have denied the claim as normal wear and tear.

Purchased living room set/ expensive in 2010.purchased leather. As years went on material started peeling. Come to find out...was not leather but some other material. All paper and pricing indicated it was leather we were purchasing. Had protection plan but they did no want to replace. After researching federal trade commission we came to an understanding that yes indeed it needs to be replaced. 2013 replaced and purchased cloth hoping the same issues regarding quality would not be an issue. We were also assurred that the expensive protection plan we purchased would transfer with a 5 year warrenty due to the inconvenience and deceptive sales. For the past two years we have been expieriencing warping, discoloration, ect. And though i did nit want to go through the same grueling process I did . We paid too much money to just accept such quality. Once again we are going through an agonizing process and waiting. Until I see what the end result will be I would caution any customer. They do not seem to want to back their products and marketing is questionable. I will be requesting a professional to confirm what the quality of the material really is.

The sales process and furniture quality are great. The delivery was not. The delivery staff left zipties and other debris all over our living room where our infant plays. We had to clean up after them. The furniture was also damaged, but Old Brick customer service did a great job of getting someone out quickly to address it.
