Bought a refurbished chair

Bought a refurbished chair, chair came with a ripped seat and the adjustment tabs snapped off (heat damage or age) i contacted them they responded fairly quickly said they would send me replacements. i was just expecting a new base seat. Instead they sent me various parts to have me "refurbish" my own chair, believe it or not, taking apart a relatively complex chair and putting it back together is not my forte. (literally running tension wires through out the chair) contacted them again, nothing. do not waste time or money. 400$ more i could have gotten the same chair brand new (herman miller sale)

Humanscale Office Chair arrived DAMAGED

I ordered a Humanscale Office Chair from Office Logix Shop on Aug 23 2025. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Problem #1: The Chair arrived damaged. The left arm was broken when I unpacked it. The chair was packed UPSIDE DOWN. Shipped across the USA that way. No foam in the box, just wrapped in plastic. The chair BARELY FIT in the box so it felt EVERY BUMP from the east coast to the west coast. Problem #2: You cannot call anyone, nor speak to anyone at this company. As much as one chair can cost, you would think that they would allow customers to speak with someone. Problem #3: I had to go online to their web page to report the issue and then wait for a reply. They tell you to allow a couple of business days for a reply. I finally got a reply 4 calendar days later. In the reply they offered me 2 choices: 1- A full refund if I returned the chair. Which would mean that now I would have to repack it. Or 2 - I could keep the chair and they will send me the repair parts and a $200 partial refund. I accepted the latter, #2 since it was the lesser of 2 inconveniences. They confirmed by email that they were sending the parts and included a tracking number. They also said they would refund the $200 partial credit to my original payment method. I was to allow a few days for the credit to show up. Problem #4: Parts arrived but I of course never got a refund. Problem #5: No one replied anymore to my emails. I was trying to see where my refund was. For what it is worth, I was sending emails to the email address that Office Logix Shop used to contact me in response to my complaint. No replies ever came. So now I have to file a claim with my CC company. Problem #6: I had to call my credit card issuer to make a claim against Office Logix Shop. My claim was denied repeatedly because Office Logix Shop kept telling my CC company that I had accepted the merchandise as “ok” and I never complained. UNBELIEVABLE!!! 😡So I sent my CC company a copy of the emails that I received from Office Logix to prove that they offered me the partial refund, and then I won my claim. I just got my $200 credited back from the CC company on Feb 7 2026. It took me 5 MONTHS to get my refund from Office Logix Shop. And they did not help me at all. they actually made it more difficult. Office Logix Shop is horrible. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

OfficeLogix sells non working junk

I purchased a "refurbished" Steelcase Leap V2 from OfficeLogix, which arrived on February 5 of 2025.First, the chair arrived in a box that looked like it was shipped by a pony express rider that was trampled by a herd of buffalos. The chair was barely packaged at all inside this box, with the cylinder attached to the chair frame and the base missing the casters which were the ONLY thing correctly packaged.I installed the casters in the base, and placed the chair and cylinder onto the base. This is NOT about the Steelcase Leap, I actually liked the chair. Had it worked. But it didn't. It had a defective cylinder, and height adjustment DID NOT WORK. After my first battle to ACTUALLY REACH ANYONE at OfficeLogix, I finally got on the phone with a representative who promised to send me a text with a link to a YouTube video and that the problem was a mere "Adjustment" the video would explain how to make.He promptly hung up and sent me the text a few moments later. After reviewing the video and spending an EXHAUSTING 45 minutes taking the seat off the chair ( they expect you to have a 20" flat head screwdriver the size of a katana just lying around, and even offered to SHIP me one), I realized the cylinder in my chair was NEITHER of the cylinders in the video and that non of the suggested adjustments applied or would work.I sent pictures of my cylinder back to the representative via the text message ( see images) and the OfficeLogix rep ADMITTED that this was a "new kind" of cylinder they used when they "repaired" the chair, and that it was missing a part. He even sent me an image of the part in question, which he called a "nozzle", and offered to ship it to me to repair the cylinder. He suggested I look in the box, claiming it might have "fallen off in transit" I sent him pictures of the box and explaing that anything that had "fallen off" in that box was probably stuck to a buffalo hoof somewhere. There was NOTHING inside the box.At this point I refused his offer to ship me "parts", and asked him to send me a return label so I could ship this chair "project" back to him and to issue me a full refund, to which HE AGREED.Yet here I am, a week later. No label, no refund, a box full of chair parts, and nothing but aggravation from having to deal with the credit card company to reverse the charge. The last email I received from them was one offering to ship a new cylinder ( God knows when), or telling me they would issue a full refund AFTER I SHIPPED THEM THE DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE BACK AT MY COST. Of course hell will freeze over before that happens.Do yourself a favor and, despite all the promises and the fancy website and attractive prices and promises of "renewed" and "refurbished" chairs at a steal, avoid these guys like venereal disease. They are not honest merchants. They are a fraud, selling junk and trying to get away with it without an ounce of scruples or sense of responsibility or a modicum of concern for customers or their satisfaction.Deal with them at your own risk.

Very inconsiderate to the customers. Don't buy from them!

They sold me a defective headrest that kept falling off and refused to cover the return costs. (They sent me a part, so that I tried to fix it, but I did not want to do that. I no longer wanted the product; I had bought what I thought was a brand-new, perfect item, not one in need of repair.) I should not have to pay for returning a defective product. There was no way to contact them by phone, and they did not respond to my last email requesting to speak with a supervisor. They did not inform me ahead of time that they would not be covering the return shipping cost if I had to send it back. It was only when they sent me the email with the return instructions that I was informed. This company is a bad experience, and I regret having dealt with them. Don't!

Greetings just posting a quick review…

Greetings just posting a quick review of my negative experience with OfficeLogix. I recently ordered 1 Haworth Zody chair direct from their website. The positive is that the chair does appear to be an authentic Zody and arrived fairly quickly. But that's where the positives end. What I received appears to have been fished out of a swamp or pulled from an office furniture land fill, The frame was beat to hell. The gas Cylinder sank immediately, the seat was reupholstered with some extremely cheap fabric and stapled haphazardly along the bottom with several staples not even fully affixed to the seat which resulted in a rather bad cut on my hand during unboxing. As mentioned in several other reviews the stench of whatever cleaning product they use is over powering and we ended up having to move the chair outside. Think of the worst truck stop bathroom cleaning supplies and you have a close idea. I knew this would be a refurbished unit for the price they had it listed for, but this is beyond that. I sent a couple emails re: the broken cylinder and a second email after cutting myself inquiring about returning and they have ignored my inquiries. I cannot recommend this seller to anyone.

Parts Do Not Fit Accurately.

Bought armpads for Leap V2, it doesn't fit the leap V2 or the Amia (tested it on both chairs). The screw posts are too far apart/the armpad is a bit too long, and there is no way to get it to fit. Leaving a review on the item page, it never actually shows either. Customer service isn't responding to emails, and if I want to return them, they require you ship them back with a label you purchase yourself. Unacceptable.
