Jonas talks a lot about his process and breaks everything down nicely. Had some trouble in my personal project and went back to the lessons and found my answers I was looking for. I recommend this highly!
Amazing course! You will learn more than how to write music but also how to score cue by cue in different genres and the preparations. Jonas will show you more than orchestral writing and how to get that modern sound. A cool thing is you will get access to the session files to look in detail how Jonas does his midi programming. Not only that, he even provided a template!
Let me tell you how incredible your course is. It’s refreshing to finally see a film music composer dedicating real attention to MIDI data controllers—something absolutely no one talks about. Everyone focuses on the best libraries and microphones, etc but this area is almost always overlooked. The way you’ve approached it is truly professional, and the result is absolutely spectacular. You have no idea how much I learned, and I've already applied it; I've changed the way I program in MIDI.
I am working through the program and have had a few questions. My queries have been answered promptly and politely. I am thourghly encouraged and happy with what I have learned so far and am looking forward to learning so much more.

I've been working as a film music composer for more than 15 years yet this course gave me lots of new techniques and tips and tricks that had been missing throughout these years. I could immediately integrate what I'd learned into two of my recent projects. Jonas's explanations are very clear and inspiring. It changed my view on music production. Even for advanced media composers I warmly recommend!
I absolutely loved this course! It was very detailed and thorough in so many different aspects which really gave me a good sense of composing scores in different scenarios. The greatest bonus I found from the course was in the DAW templates he let's you download which are as efficient of a template I have ever come across, and have exponentially increased my workflow while composing and producing.
This is a great course.The amount of information and the detail was really helpful to get me past just 'music making' into the realms of cinematography in my music making. It answered many questions that I had and, better yet, when it went past what I could understand I actually wrote to Jonas and he responded quickly, and enthusiastically. His teaching style is genuine and passionate. I really liked it and will do more courses if they come around. I also got a huge shopping list of plugins that I've started adding to my sound libraries. Highly recommend it.

Hello everyone! Not everyone has the opportunity to work in big studios and get the knowledge to produce that cinematic sound and quality we hear in movies/series etc. as the tiny little details that makes the difference at the end, and let me tell you, there are many tiny little things to master. Jonas, who is an accomplished composer has managed to deliver these tiny little details from big studios to your studio and there is one important thing that I want to mention:Big composers use live orchestra to record their strings/brass/woodwind etc. to get that quality, they dont use sample libraries in movies for example, so how are we going to get that cinematic quality when we dont have an orchestra waiting in the living room? Well, again, Jonas has delivered that! He shows us how to get the best out of our resourses/libraries and produce that quality. This course is the bridge between mediocre production to cinematic quality production!
As a professional working composer, I can honestly tell you that this course has something for everyone. The number on thing I look for in a course is whether or not I like the actual music the composer is teaching me how to make. In the case of Modern Media Composer, the music is exceptional and extremely relevant for todays composing marketplace. The video production is top notch, the teaching is clear and concise, and the amount of content is vast. I would give this course my highest recommendation. 12 out of 10!
With a plethora of music composing courses available online, this one stood out above many other ones for two reasons. Firstly, the wealth of knowledge and experience that Jonas has conveyed through his many Youtube videos and his empathy for helping musicians like myself resonated with me. The second reason is that this course filled a gap in solving a major issue that no other online course offered. This course solves the problem of how to effectively use any DAW using samples for high caliber orchestrations. Jonas demonstrated some of the secrets to effectively using modulation, expression and breath continuous controllers for realistic sounding orchestration. Jonas also demonstrated how to create the right emotion, timing music for film as well as a host of many other tips for adding music to film. The course is well structured and Jonas' ability to easily explain concepts within the course is great. The course in itself has helped me transform my music production quality. Kudos to Jonas and Modern Media Composer.
This class was a game-changer for me. The "Score to Picture" section alone is worth the cost, but Jonas includes so much more in the class. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Jonas is the best, and I jumped at the opportunity to get this course as soon as it became available. His YouTube channel is some of the most well produced content out there. The template alone is worth it. This is a great course for young composers, as well as experienced composers who will pick up some interesting workflow tips.

This course was fantastic! I really like the real life video examples given. He really walks you through real briefs and shows his process from start to finish, as well as showing the techniques and VSTs he uses. He also provides free sounds he's used on his project, as well as MIDI files, which to me are great ways to learn how he programs his MIDI. This course is a must-have for aspiring composers!
