Can’t speak highly enough
I can’t speak highly enough of Milan Art Institute and the Mastery Program. I’ve been in the program for almost 5 months and I’ve learned so much already. I was a predominantly self-taught artist up until now and the mastery program is filling all the gaps in my education. The new update to the course is fantastic starting with acrylics to get the foundational skills before moving into oils all while increasing drawing skills and accuracy. I can’t wait for the rest of the program and become a full time artist!

There’s no ceilings…..
I had been following the program for about a year when I finally decided to invest in my own journey. I had previously admired the Milan Family’s art and so when they offered a program where they breakdown the tips and tricks to being a successful and knowledgeable artist, I was intrigued. I can officially say that now as I'm about 6 months into my program, its the best thing I’ve ever done to invest into my own journey and I can only say I wish I had started sooner. The problems I faced in learning new techniques on my own are things they have been able to simplify and make a direct path to learn. It has already changed my ability immensely. The program is something I am EXCITED to do and look forward to each lesson. If you’re new to painting and art like I was, or even if you’re a seasoned artist, there’s no limit to what you can learn and take away from the lessons. That’s my favorite part, there’s no ceilings to your ability to grow with the mastery program. I will always recommend this to anyone looking for a way to advance their skills. It truly has changed my life.

Worth it from the first lesson
I am halfway through the Mastery Program and am blown away by what I have learned so far. I’ve been doing art as a hobby for decades and am pretty skilled at realism. I was clueless about abstracts and a one hour lesson made me want to sign up for the mastery program. From the first lesson I was was shocked at the impact it made immediately, even on my realism paintings. My coach Heather always has super helpful feedback, and I like being part of a community that supports and inspires each other.

My skills grew incredibly within weeks…
My skills grew incredibly within weeks of starting the program in August 2024. I stuck to the recommended time, painting every day up until portfolio...then i got a little stuck on my voice, so i hung here to refine and I am finally getting where i want to be. I have watched all the videos, but I am yet to graduate. The new mastery has been released, so I am watching those videos and feel like they are far superior to the origional. I am getting a greater understanding from them and feel so grateful to the Milan's for allowing access to the old and new program. I love the Milan's and the platform to connect to like minded artists. Some of my friends have even sold their paintings via the app to other students !

I absolutely love the new videos and set up. The video for using the platform is so very helpful. I had signed up to take the courses and my Mother’s health took a turn and had to stop for a while. Amazing value! I needed a push to paint again and to have confidence and joy in my art. I haven't finished yet, I didnt take part in the community as much as I should have and I definitely haven't utilized all the amazing support and tools that are included. Even with my poor utilization of the program, I love it and it has added to my life and my art!

Life Changing Experience
I have now completed Part 2 of the program and also participated in the in‑person Voice Accelerator in Sarasota. Working through just the first two sections of the online program already elevated my painting skills far beyond what I ever expected.Combined with the in‑person workshop, this experience was truly life‑changing — it completely blew my mind.The Milans treated us like close friends, and I felt genuinely welcomed and accepted from the very beginning. Elli helped me gain a much clearer understanding of what my artistic voice could look like. I went through the older version of Milan. I love it and I got really good at oil painting because of them. Now they just upgraded to Milan 2.0/2026. I looked over and wow I wished it was there few years ago. It's a huge improvement!!!!! Now I plan to retake everything to make sure I didn't miss anything especially they're offering acrylic courses that I need to practice on. Thank you for upgrading your Mastery Program. Now I'm excited again to learn new things using acrylic. And I can finally be proud to finish the program and hope to graduate this time!!!

An Art Program That Works With Your Life
:I’m so grateful to have found a place where everything I need to know about paints and mediums is explained clearly and thoroughly. The lessons are structured in a way that makes learning feel approachable, organized, and empowering.One of the things I appreciate most is having access to the videos so I can go back and review them anytime. Being able to revisit the material really helps me build confidence and fully understand each concept.I also love that the textbooks are printable. Highlighting, taking notes, and reviewing the material at my own pace has made such a difference in how I retain what I’m learning.The flexibility to complete assignments whenever I have free time fits perfectly into my busy schedule. And being able to pay on a monthly basis until I was fully paid up made the program accessible and manageable for me. That option truly removed a lot of stress and allowed me to focus on learning and growing as an artist.
