used madalyn auctions for liquidating excess kitchen equipment. they handled cataloging and buyer coordination which made things easier for us. not everything moved as fast as i hoped, but the team was professional and transparent. solid service if you don’t want to deal with auctions yourself

The auction itself went great. I was able to bid seamlessly and won almost all of the items I wanted. The tricky part was the shipping. I did not know I would have to locate a carrier, which was an education. The local shipper only palletized my items, and I think they are on the way, a week and a half later. I would have liked better coordination and clarity about what to expect regarding getting my items to me.
Auction company was fine but wanted delivery a bit sooner but couldn't get anyone in the Auction company to meet up with the delivery company for over two weeks.

The only issue that I encounter is the fact that the equipment needs to be picked up the day after the auction. It would be a lot easier to schedule if they were a couple of days to be picked up from the warehouse.
I bought several items that were the same product. Instead of talking photos of 5 individual products, the photos were unfortunately repeats. Therefore, the items I purchased were not as seen in the photos, some taken apart and missing pieces instead of what the item looked like in the photo. I understand there is a preview day but even so, the online photos should be exactly what you are purchasing.
Onsite person was friendly and knowledgeable.

I always read the master rules on auction dates and pickup dates before bidding. After arriving from my 1.5 hour drive on the pickup day, I was told there was a special note on one of my items that I never saw that said it would only be available for pickup on a different day at a different location. The existence of a second separate pickup day and location was NOT in the master auction information online. I was not available to drive to the “storage facility” for a pickup at a different location and on a different day than the auction I participated in, but was told I would be losing the money I spent on that item. I do not believe this “special note” was present on the individual items page at the time of bidding, but even if it was I believe you must list ALL pickup days and locations in the MASTER auction information and details section so that bidders can make an informed decision if they are available for ALL pickup days and locations before beginning the bidding process on any item in the lot. I lost my money and the item.

It was a good experience. However, it would have been easier if all items were available for pick up at the same location. We must make another trip tomorrow to another location to pick up our remaining items.
The instructions on the website for purchase of the brewery tanks were not correct. It stated everything had to be removed in a four hour period the following day including the fermentation and brite tanks. That prevented me from bidding on them because coordination of a forklift, transport, riggers, etc in 12 hours is impossible. While on site today to pick up what I did bid and win, the tanks were still in place and I was told those did not have to be removed in the four hour window for all the reasons I stated above. So that was false advertising in the auction and not something I will participate in again from your company.
Product was as described. Person at pickup was friendly and knowledgeable.
