Horrible Horrible hospital and doctors …
Horrible Horrible hospital and doctors I could have filed a malpractice lawsuit with all the evidence of Malpractice I had from the shoddy 'care' my OBGYN's (Dr. Curtis Cook and Dr. Pooja Doehrman) gave me. They should be deeply ashamed to call themselves High Risk. However my infant son and I were busy fighting for our lives ( did I mention neither of them actually came to the hospital to do their job (deliver my baby) ?

They sent me 21 invoices for 1 visit to…
They sent me 21 invoices for 1 visit to Urgent Care, total 23K for 4 hours, and on top of it they double and triple billed for the same items. It was impossible to get a real person for billing and within 30 days I was sent to collections. I have provided the duplicate billing to the agencies and they just keep selling the debt to the next one. Unless you are dying drive past.

Lucy the MA is an imbecile
Lucy the MA is rude, hung up on me, and quite frankly is the biggest imbecile in that office. She called and left a voicemail with my personal and medical details which violates HIPAA entirely. She even called me and had a conversation with me and never once asked me my name or to verify who I am. Filed a formal HIPAA complaint against them today through the HHS.gov website. They call non-stop threating to cut off your meds if you don't set up an appointment right now. Constantly send prescriptions for wrong dosage, duration, and to the wrong pharmacy. I've been going to them for about 2 years now and have never spent so much time on the phone asking them to fix the prescriptions that they screwed up!
Dignity Health is a SCAM
Tired of being demanded all of my personal information at every turn.
Tired of giving my address, phone number, date of birth every single time I call to make an appointment, even more than once in the same day. Now the doctor's assistants are asking for my date of birth AFTER passing who I now call the "gatekeeper" at my in-person appointments! It is NOT for the patient's "protection" or "privacy." It's all about our lack of privacy and is overkill and invasive. These people are looking at all your private information and you are treated like a criminal, being asked to recite everything but your insurance card number. Remember when that was relevant in health care? I try to schedule my appointments online now to avoid spending half the call giving out my personal information. (Woodland, CA)

Coastal Cardio in Templeton
Coastal Cardio in Templeton, Ca can't seem to authorize a prescription renewal. # times in the last several months I have had to visit their office to verbally get someone's attention to OK the renewal.Should not be this way, and they need to fix their responsiveness and office procedures.
Weary traveler
looking for a new doctor, and no referrals within my county.
I called for a dr. referral, and was given the names of doctors as far as 400 miles away. Hard to believe. Useless service.

Poor hiring process
Hospitals love to say they ‘value people,’ yet they don’t even have the decency to follow up with candidates who take time out of their lives to apply, interview, and wait. How do you expect to build trust in a field that literally runs on empathy when you can’t even return a call? The lack of communication is embarrassing.

Dignity is in a sad state
Dignity is in a sad state. I developed bronchitis so I called my dr. The office said they had no openings period but I could go to an urgent care center. I did was in and out with a chest x ray and prescription in about 1.5 hours. They would also forward the x ray and exam results to my dr. With a suggestion to see the dr. Within 2 weeks. These people were very professional btw. Called my dr’s office back to set the apt. No openings period. Nice job dignity health ! Very sad. Stay healthy out there bc if you don’t you out of luck and on your own unless you have a ppo and can go to an urgent care.

I hate them and I pray bad things…
I hate them and I pray bad things happen to them, they are a Catholic company, the churches condemns usury and slavery, but in this day and age through medical debt they enslave and charge usury. For every wedding and funeral I missed I hate them. For how much they overcharged and burdened me and the brain fog I have from them that don't take slaves or do usury and those that swore an oath to not do harm I hate them and I pray bad things happen to them.

I’ll never recommend Dignity Health to…
I’ll never recommend Dignity Health to anyone in LA. I was put in the waiting room for 7 hours. During those 7 hours I had to constantly ask how I could reach my insurance in Europe, staff had no clue how to help me, constantly ask when I was going to hear the result, constantly ask for ice package against the swelling (nurses didn’t offer me any beforehand), had to take Google myself how to care of my injury myself while in the waiting area for 7 hours. No one asked how we were doing. Such a bad experience! No patient needs to go through this. On top of it all, I’m all alone in a foreign country. Worst hospital experience ever.
Do not go to Dignity Health
All I can say is DON’T
All I can say is DON’T! Received a nasty letter from them saying I disrupted their office in neurology and if I continue I will be banned from using their office. All I did was complain about not being scheduled for test and the ones my insurance company paid for. Then ask for results on tests for my heart. It would be nice to know if I have something wrong with my heart wouldn’t you think? It’s been several months! And why give the tests if they don’t really think I have a problem? Why the slow roll? Maybe it’s to just collect insurance money! Isn’t that insurance fraud? Makes one think. So don’t complain keep our mouths shut. Medical professionals are terrible now days. It didn’t used to be that way. They were respected professionals. Now it’s greed and money! Where do these people go to school these days? Some should just not be licensed doctors. It’s scary

Dangerous Misdiagnosis Care
The care, if you get to see an M.D. is passable. In the past month have sent notes to 2 physicians regarding symptoms that mimicked heart attack. They never responded and I collapsed with a heart attack while walking the dog. In the past 2 weeks a Dr. office set up 2 appts. for a phone consult regarding results of brain scans and the physician failed to call. There is a problem at Mercy/Dignity.

As a healthcare provider
As a healthcare provider, mother, and consumer, I anticipate a certain level of care. I brought my son to this facility in May 2025, and the MD on staff came into our room for a total of 3 minutes. He neglected to listen to his heart or lung sounds, did not provide any type of examination, wore a mask, and acted as though my son had the plague. The facility billed my insurance $2318.00. I wrote a detailed letter to Dignity Health outlining why this amount was inappropriate. Five weeks later, I received notice that this level of care was in line with what to anticipate if you walk into an Urgent Care with Dignity Health. I am appalled that this hospital system finds this acceptable, and as a healthcare practitioner with 20 years of experience, I would advise you to avoid using any of their facilities. I think that 2.6 stars is a bit too high for what you can expect if you visit ANY facility associated with this company.

Dignity Health has the most convoluted…
Dignity Health has the most convoluted website conceivable. I have spent countless hours trying to pay a bill, see a visit summary, schedule an appointment, see test results, update my profile and more. It never works.

Worst experience paying bill
Worst experience paying bill! Paper bills are like 15 pages but say you can signup for paperless e-statements at dignityhealth dot org/billpay. But at that link's Quick Pay, there's no option to sign up for e-statements. On 5/1/25, I called the phone on the paper statement, 866 397 9265. Isha confirmed they signed me up for e-statements and told the team to fix the fact that no one can enroll at the link above.A month later, I get another 15 page paper bill. I go to dignityhealth . org / billpay and click Create Account with the same email address as the one I use when I Quick Pay. I sign up for e-statements.But when I click dignity. patientportal. me/DignityHealth#/credentialed/accounts, it says "You have not added an account. Please add an account to continue paying your bill." But there's no button to add an account. But there's no button to add an account. And since it says My Balance is $0 though my paper bill says I owe money. So it seems I'm signed up for e-statements that I'll never get because I have no "account." So I try the "live chat," which doesn't let me ask my question. Then I call the phone at that link, (844) 405-8989. Michael doesn't seem to understand my question. He transfers me to David. David says his supervisor says I should call PatientPortal.me at 866 430 7333. Jay at that number says I have to call the number David just transferred me from, (844) 405-8989 to ask them to add my account to dignity. patientportal. me/DignityHealth#/credentialed/accounts. Then I email the above to hello @ dignityhealth dot org and I get this unhelpful automated reply: If you have any questions or concerns regarding your bill, you may contact billing support at: Hospital Related Billing Inquires: (844) 405-8989.I already called that number as shown in this review above!I went in-person to The UCSF St. Francis Hospital and they told me to call their Financial Counselor downstairs at 415 353 6140. The man there told me to call their Business office, 888 488 7667. Peng there told me to call the billing vendor, Getix, 866 397 9272. I ask Yamaji there if he can turn off paper bills. He spent 10 minutes saying he can turn on texts and emails. I ask him to confirm he can turn off paper bills. He says no. When I asked what number to call if I needed to speak with him again, he said 866 397 9265, which I already called as shown in this review above! It's 7/9/25. They all just wasted at least two hours of my time.

The absolute worst customer experience…
The absolute worst customer experience one could have. The doctor is okay, but beyond that it's been a horrible experience. I strongly suggest if you are seeking medical assistance find an alternative. It is so bad that I am forced to find a new primary care doctor.

Impossible to reach your doctor
Impossible to reach your doctor. If you do not sit by the phone, and you miss the call, calling them back is impossible. Every time you try its a 10 min phone call with no results, routed through some call center.
