My trademark application was handled by this attorney, and unfortunately the process involved serious communication and follow-up failures. A critical USPTO deadline was missed, which resulted in the application being abandoned.What is most concerning is that despite my phone number being on file, I was never contacted by phone regarding such an important and time-sensitive matter. Communication was limited to email only, and there was no clear or proactive effort to ensure I understood that missing this deadline would permanently cancel the application.As a result, the application became inactive, and I am now being asked to pay again to reapply. In my opinion, this situation did not arise from my neglect, but from a lack of adequate follow-up, responsibility, and client communication.For a trademark matter—where deadlines have irreversible consequences—I expected a much higher level of professionalism and diligence. Unfortunately, that standard was not met.
