Great personnel; food, not so much
The support people were great. The food? It was very repetitive, and, for me, caused some gastric stress. the food was not a sustainable feature for me, especially long term. I also don’t feel the plan addresses the social aspect of eating (a meal)—especially with others. It’s hard to connect with your coworkers, and especially your spouse and/or family over a meal if you’re fasting.

So far the experience has been good
So far the experience has been good. Fasting for 5 days has been challenging as I was getting hungry in between meals. I’m getting ready to do my third fast. My dietitian support is very helpful

The Fasting Mimicking Diet is an amazing way to reduce insulin resistance.
The Fasting Mimicking Diet is an amazing innovation, and I'm very grateful for it. I was purchasing the low-glycemic kits because I like to eat more keto and wasn't comfortable with the glucose spikes I was getting from the regular Prolon kits. I did not sign up for any of the programs because my bloodwork is fully covered by my HMO, and I am trying to minimize blood draws. It would be great if you made it easier for people who just want to purchase the low-glycemic version of the FMD. It was so successful that my insulin resistance is much less, so I don't get such marked glucose spikes from the regular Prolon FMD kits, so I've gone back to those exclusively.

Science-backed program with great folks
Love the fact the program is based on scientific studies. Great group of people working at L-Nutra - professional, personable and knowledgeable. I enjoy the quarterly group meetings to share information and the more frequent meetings with the nutritionist. Getting great tips and encouragement.

My journey with Lnutra has been life changing. The ease of following this beneficial program is great. The planned sessions with Mikeala are total quality and so helpful. That piece is truly the key to my success. Not only have I lost weight, no long type 2 diabetic or even prediabetic, off a couple of medications, but my mind & body are so much healthier. Paying more than I should
I ordered protein powder on a subscription. After making my order, I get a "special offer" of the exact same protein powder for $9 less on subscription. So e I'm buying 2 per month, it's a significant savings. But I'm not allowed to sub my subscription price for the lower one.

Nicole is a wonderful coach!
Nicole has done a great job guiding me through the program. Explaining things, answering my questions, and understanding the issues i faced with balancing daily obligations with changing my mentality on putting me first.The food was decent, I appreciate the fact that I can eat so little and not feel starved, particularly during a fast.

Working with Mikaela
Working with Mikaela was a really useful and educational experience. We personalized the FMD for me, going to a 5:2 plan after 3 rounds of the 5 day fasts. Helped me lose some weight, and get a better handle on my relationship with food. I have tried many many "diets" and this path seems the most sustainable (albeit slow - which is good) for me.

It's a Great Company!! You should try it.
I like the model you are using and see how well thought out it is. The products are great. I really like my nutritionist, Michaela and Dr. Davis. I think they truly understand diabetes and the people who have diabetes exceptionally well. I've received lots of good information and their kindness and understanding is deeply appreciated.

Highly Recommend this Program
L-Nutra has an excellent program for diabetics. The foods are high quality and the five-day fast is almost painless. The days actually go very fast during the monthly fasting period. The support of the nutritionist and physician are priceless. They have suggestions and motivations that are so worthwhile in obtaining success.
