Dr Nguyen is awesome - I've lost 19 lbs as of today in 6 weeks. Unfortunately my employer (the State of Georgia) has declared they know better then me as to who my Doctor should be, and have to leave knownwell. I highly recommend them as well a Dr Nguyen -
I have been meeting with Dr. Amy for several months now. From the beginning she was sympathetic, informative and encouraging. She has given me excellent information and advice, as well as answering any questions and concerns I might have. When I have reached out between visits I have received prompt responses to messages sent. This has been a very successful weight loss journey for me and Knownwell has been a big part of it!

I’ve been using Knownwell through Eli Lilly Direct Pay for Zepbound (tirzepatide), and there are some important cost details that aren’t obvious at first.To continue receiving Zepbound or another GLP-1, you’re required to have an appointment every four months. The initial appointment costs $300, and follow-up appointments are $125 each.The medication itself through Eli Lilly Direct Pay costs $450 every 45 days at the higher doses. Also worth noting: the self-pay option only offers vials for self-injection rather than auto-injector pens. Personally, I actually prefer the vials, but some people may see that as a downside.When you factor in the mandatory appointment costs, the total price ends up being significantly higher than it first appears.When I asked why appointments are required every four months, I was told it’s because they don’t charge a subscription fee like some other companies, so instead they require periodic self-pay visits. That explanation didn’t sit well with me.If a patient medically qualifies for a prescription and is already paying cash for the medication, it feels excessive to require hundreds of dollars in recurring appointment fees just to maintain access. If the medication is straightforward enough to self-pay and receive without insurance, the additional gatekeeping costs feel unnecessary.Overall, while the medication access itself is relatively simple, the recurring appointment requirement substantially increases the true cost, and that’s something prospective patients should be aware of before signing up.
I felt seen heard and felt by the practitioner I met with. Like all of me will be treated in the process of getting to a healthy weight. Looking forward to this journey.
First visit with Knownwell Dr. Amy was so encouraging! She is extremely knowledgeable about the program and how it relates to my specific needs as well as medical issues! She made me feel so comfortable about starting a GLP1 medicine and offered assistance any way they can to make the journey easier! Offering help with insurance is an added bonus!! So far…I am extremely pleased with this company and excited to start my weight loss journey!
It’s still in the early stages for me. So far the information provided prepared me as what to expect. Negative symptoms are beginning to subside, as predicted , allowing me to have a more positive attitude. Attitude is a major component of weight loss.

The user friendly website design caught my attention as well as the feedback regarding the company itself. I've had my first visit. They allow plenty of time for the patient to feel valued and heard. Outstanding first impression. They handle the insurance end of things which is liberating!

Loved the practice and doctor. Had my first appointment yesterday and from intake until I walked out the door I felt safe, seen, and that I was in the right spot to get the help I wanted. Only reason I'm giving 4 v. 5 stars is trying to initially reach someone by phone was very difficult and sometimes you just want to talk to someone to make sure your information is correct.
The process was very easy. Dr. was super nice, understanding and thorough. I look forward to talking to her again. The communication with the company, Dr. and app they have available is outstanding. You can message at anytime and also see where you are in the process, along with a summary of your visit. Overall, it is just a really easy simple process. I would definitely recommend to my friends

The provider was patient and took the time to listen to my questions. She is super knowledgeable and compassionate. I have had two appointments with her and she was awesome both times. The appointments are convenient and easy to keep and access.
