As first-time dog parents, this course was a lifesaver. Michele's methods are incredibly effective and rewarding, and the self-paced, flexible format was ideal for our schedule. For a pro-level course, the price is remarkably affordable. We are so grateful for the experience and highly recommend it!

A few months after training course
We enrolled in the class when Marí was 3 months, she’s about to be a year now! We just did her DNA and we found out she’s a heeler/husky so is really energetic and was pretty destructive when we first got her 😭 our trainers were life savers!!! It all depends on how much you put into the program and use the support. It feels like a science, analyzing your dog to understand triggers, body language, behaviors. Her destructive nature now at 1 years is ripping up paper bags and boxes in her pen, her little contained destructiveness lol. Training takes a long time, and I loved the kindness approach to positive reinforcement, I feel like her and I have a beautiful relationship because of it. She’s still learning but I am so happy to say that she happily walks into her crate now! My partner and I have a full life because of crate training and can go to dinner and know she’s safe. Wonderful program !

Tons of Good Advice and Guidance for Puppy Owners
This was an excellent program with tons of great content. I joined the pro-level support during the winter when we had just gotten our puppy because she was too young to go to class and the weather wasn’t conducive to going out anyway. However, I wish I had waited to join the pro-level because there was so much content in the free program alone I didn’t have time to fully take advantage of the pro-level support services and master the basic videos at the same time. I also had a bit of trouble navigating my way around the course, but I think that is more the fault of my own ineptitude with computers than the course itself. Even so, I learned a lot, and our puppy is doing really, really well. She was potty trained in record time, and given the weather we had to endure that was a godsend! Michele and her whole team were very supportive and their advice and guidance sound. I loved Michele’s mantra “It’s not a problem until it’s a problem.” That advice helped me be proactive and kept me from making several mistakes that I likely would have made otherwise. So thank you Michele for helping me and my puppy get off to a great start. I know I will be using your program as a valuable resource to turn to as our puppy continues to grow and mature.

Amazing program
Amazing program! Michelle is very informative end her methods are a perfect fit for our rescue puppies. We worked the full 30day program and have seen a dramatic improvement in our relationship with the dogs. Thank you to Michelle and her crew for How to Train Your Dream Dog! I highly recommend you join the program!
I highly recommend and encourage you to sign up for the HTDD Pro Level dog training program before or as soon as you bring home your puppy. The on-line program is full of modules to help train you on how to train your puppy. I enjoy being a part of the Student FB group and the Zoom calls when I am able. Michele and her team are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Most importantly, I appreciate the prompt personalized feedback. As a first time puppy owner, I don’t feel like I could have raised my puppy who is now 19weeks old as well as I have without their support. Thank you HTDD trainers!

I loved Michelle and all the YouTube…
I loved Michelle and all the YouTube videos! I found them very helpful. I also liked the zoom calls where I could ask questions. What I didn't like was the feelings I had based off of the feedback I would get. I have a difficult breed and a difficult environment/ situation so often times their advice felt harsh and unattainable. I would come so far in an issue I was having and share it to the fb page and be told all the things I am still doing wrong. I felt helpless, sad, and was left with feeling zero faith that things would get better. I eventually stopped participating and went and found a boarding school I liked for my puppy. He went off for a month and came back with all issues solved. He is happy, healthy, and very well behaved...my dream dog. Funny thing is I posted one of the videos my trainer sent me and was told all the wrong things I'm doing; however, it wasn't me but instead my professional trainer. I'm now training him to be my service animal. Overall, I think the program is great for certain breeds with families who live in big houses in the suburbs. I would only recommend to those in that environment and situation. It was a lot of money that I am still trying to pay off. Michelle is fantastic though.

Great lessons
Great lessons. Our pup really liked watching them with us! I love that we can go back and re-watch the videos any time. My only complaint is that the sound quality was inconsistent from one video to the next. Sometimes when there were two instructors, only one of them had a mic, so it was really hard to hear the other one.

Affordable and extremely helpful - 5 stars :D
I started watching the course content a week before I got my 2-month old pup. It was a bit overwhelming in the beginning but the pacing, reinforcement of core positive psych ideas again & again throughout the program was extremely helpful in making the learning process enjoyable for both me and my pup. I took an offline training course on the side as well. Even then, I learnt a lot of interesting games and information from the course so much so that I would count this as my primary learning source - you won't be disappointed!

Excellent resource and you have the material forever
Honestly I didn't put in as much time as I would've liked, but this program is amazing. Very well designed and easy to follow. Also the trainers are excellent and willing to give advice promptly and helpfully. I have enjoyed the experience and may sign up to be on the monthly loop just because I don't want to leave them! My puppy is still under six months and we are still working on basic stuff. Thanks Michelle and How to Train a Dream Dog.

Best training ever!
From the minute I bought the 30 days to Puppy Perfection course I knew it was the best decision! Training a puppy using fun games?!?! Who would have thought! I truly loved every aspect especially using positive reinforcement only.Once my pup turned 6-7 months I encountered some issues where I needed more one-on-one individual advice. I purchased the pro-level and could not be more impressed with the advice I received. It was professional and caring and was something I never would have thought of on my own or found somewhere else online. Once I used the advice I noticed a difference in my pup right away!The facebook group is super helpful too as the trainers reply to questions. These trainers are truly passionate about what they do.

Loved the content but the delivery...
I really loved the content of this course, everything is super useful and I'll use it forever!! the only gripe I have with it is the execution. One of the girls is always hard to hear and it seems as if things are out of order sometimes? not sure what is going on there but it does bother me a bit. I wish the whole course website, booklet, & videos themselves were more polished I guess. but really that's the only problem I had and it has nothing to do with the actual lessons so kudos to Michelle and her team!

BEST online course for you and your pup
This course was a life and sanity saver for this first time puppy owner. Lessons and valuable information was provided as a ebook, worksheets, videos. Facebook and live Zoom calls. We learned how to train our pups by consistency, compassion and proceeding at your pups pace. There were fun games and contests, our questions were personally answered by the experts. I highly, highly recommend this course.

My honest opinion
My honest opinion, is that I felt the course was too overwhelming and contained too much filler content that takes too long to watch. It's a great class for someone who is retired or has plenty of time. I would recommend creating an abridged version containing the same nuts and bolts with less of the fillers. For example, I didn't need the beginning videos on why this style of training is the best. We should know that because you're the experts in this field, however, it's not bad information to know but I could have don't without it. I am still limping along and just can't find the time to get through it. I then ask a question on the FB group and I can't seem to get a direct answer but rather a 1 hour Zoom video and a 14 minute YouTube to help answer them. I just added an hour and 14 minutes to my day and I am still stuck in module 1. I feel both could have been condensed into 15 minutes. I hope to finish it one day. Thank you though I and I hope this helps and is conveyed as nice constructive criticism. My review could be biased as I didn't complete the course entirely so again I hope this helps future students with busy schedules.

THE best puppy training course EVER
This is hands down the best puppy training course out there. Throughout my life I’ve had many dogs and trained them to the best of my abilities. I’ve also gone to training sessions. I’ve watched countless YouTube videos and tv shows. But one week before I got my new puppy I knew I wanted to train him the right way and early on so he could have a confident and great life without causing me any headaches or embarrassing moments. I stumbled across your free content on YouTube and it instantly resonated with me. It was a no brainer to buy the course. And when I did I was so happy to see everything broken down into bite sized pieces. Perfectly manageable for a new pup at home. The building blocks of how to train a puppy are so well thought out. No one has ever done this in this way before. And it’s presented so clearly and built so intuitively. After one month with my puppy at home and using your course I have a dog that listens and obeys much better than all the other dogs I’ve had. And he loves our training sessions because you turn them into games! Such a great idea! I’m a huge fan of the course and am so grateful for all that I’ve learned. And so is my little pup, Ruffo!

This course changed our lives
This course changed our lives! The #1 lesson for me (many others but this was top) was SLEEP - explaining how important it really is to have your pup get the proper amount and quality of sleep and why! Loved this course, thank you all!

The course itself is extremely time consuming, but thorough.
The course itself is comprehensive, detail-orientated, and helpful. I got the pro-level, thinking it was fully refundable without reading the fine print. After a day or two, I realized that the time I needed to put in to watch the videos, read the workbook, record the dog, do the homework, join in the zoom calls and ask questions was overwhelming for me. Put on top of it having to take care of the puppy and the household (and the hubby) and myself I was so stressed. I knew I needed one on one help, in person, and asked for a refund and was going to use that money for a trainer. I was denied because I didn't read the fine print. My fault, ok but be sure to read the fine print. Turns out I don't use the FB group and the zoom meetings much because I just don't have that much time in the day. I am getting through the course and many, many (did I say many) videos slowly but it is still so very overwhelming. I personally have to watch things 2-3 times to "get it" so that's just more time I don't have. Michelle is excellent at what she does and you can see she truly cares and does a fabulous job at instruction. I wish I could go to her in person and pay for training for both my puppy and myself. In a nutshell, the course is excellent but very time-consuming.
