I been waiting on a refund for 3 weeks now
I booked with them before and it was fine. This time around I booked and had to cancel because of a death in my family. It’s going on three weeks now and I still haven’t received my refund. They been going me the ring around everything. They told me they are having technical issues, mind you I send the deposit via Zelle. What technical issues take 3 weeks. I feel like I am being scammed. Nothing technical issues takes this long. I just want my money back.

Wouldn't recommend working here. They hire people in bulk get the work done and then fire them. I was fired too under false premisses. They asked me to resign immediately without any prior notice, only because of baseless accusations.

Not paid our salary. I have worked for holidaykeepers for the past 3 years. They are cheating employees by not paying our salary. More than 7-10 employees are waiting from 8 to 10 months. Most of the costumers are not getting their refund.

All their properties are very poorly managed without almost 0 maintenance and if something goes wrong they will never give you the refund you deserve. I worked for them as a part of support and saw a bunch a people having to repeatedly follow up regarding their refund which the company never paid. Half the amenities don't work either, but that is never told to the customer before they arrive

The house we rented for a group vacation was spacious and had great amenities like a hot tub and pool table. However, the check-in process was a bit confusing, and we had to wait longer than expected. The stay itself was good, but these small hiccups kept it from being amazing

We booked a house for our prom after-party, and while the location and layout were great, the cleanliness could have been better. We found a few cobwebs in the corners, which was disappointing for the price we paid. The staff apologized and offered a partial refund, which was appreciated.

Literal con artists
This company is a complete scam. I stayed with them in their 1700 Jumper road property in 2023. It was fine, so I booked my group there again in 2024. This year the pool was completely dirty and unusable, it was a green swamp. Also the ceiling literally caved in on two of our guests, causing flooding and part of the toxic ceiling structure to go all over our stuff and ruin guests items. I contacted the company about reimbursement for this as well as the fact that we booked the house to use the pool and it was completely unusable and they refused to acknowledge my messages. I then gave up on asking for a refund and simply asked for my security deposit back, which was promised to come back to begin with. They claimed their bank is having issues and they are "working" on it. This sounded sketchy so I did some dilligence and realized they never even paid my security deposit back from the year prior. So to recap they have stolen my security deposit not once but twice and also were a terrible house to stay in this year with the disgusting pool/ceiling issues. They make up lies and wont return your security deposit its the biggest fraud I've ever seen in my life, not sure how this is legal.

Wish I can give them a zero rating. These folks are scam artists. Please check their profiles online prior to reserving. We stayed in their 10BR house in Tobyhanna,PA. Besides the place being dirty and filthy, most of the amenities listed in the ad did not work. Pool table ripped with no balls and sticks, ping pong table with bubbles and no paddles or balls, TVS without operating remotes, air conditioning broken, showers not working, refrigerator missing shelves and one not working and the list goes on. Complaining did not work, have yet to receive security deposit and promised compensation back. Supposedly their system is broken - system that works for taking money but not for refunding. Please save yourself a headache and do not rent from these folks. I have already written to attorney general’s office.

Disappointed/ looks like a scam
So, I booked the Farmhouse rental - Pocono 1753 I booked it on Aug/1/2024 for Sep/15/2024 I payed partial payment and told them that I would pay the rest closer to the booking. The guy wanted me to pay through Zelle, not through the website. So we did. On Aug/20/2024 I told them that I would like to cancel my reservation. I have not gotten a reply since I told them I would like to cancel, The cancellation policy is full refund before 15 days prior to the resorvation. I told them 25 days prior so I’m starting to smell scam.Will keep you updated how things turn out

Worst rental website I've ever used in my life. Everything about the house was not as described on the website. Rooms were dirty, ovens in the kitchen weren't working, sauna wasn't working and hot tub wasn't working. They are a complete scam. DO NOT BOOK OR USE THEM! These people are scam artists. The numbers they gave me to call if i had any issues never answered my calls. 0 stars.

They’re thieves!! Rented a house in June 15 and paid over 10k for the weekend. It’s been now almost 2 months and I haven’t received my security deposit back. I’m told their system has a glitch. They don’t answer the phone nor reply to emails. Save your money peeps and rent somewhere else.

Save your money and get a hotel
My family and I rented the house on route 196 (with the long driveway) over the weekend, now the house looks BEAUTIFUL on the outside. As we were taking a tour of the home we started to notice a lot of discrepancies (I have pics and videos of everything) We paid over $7,000 for a place that we couldnt even enjoy. The pool table was missing balls, the pac man machine was not even working, there were holes in the walls, cracked/raising tiles on the floors, grime and mildew in the shower heads. The place was just a major disappointment. All of the amenities that we were looking forward to was not functional. And I definitely will be requesting a partial refund, On top of that they emailed to remind my family and I that only 8 cars should be on the premises in which we agreed, Early Saturday morning I caught them on the property trying to check the amount of vehicles as if they didn’t take my word. This place needs A LOT of help and a lot of TLC. 0/10 would not recommend.

THE HOUSE IN THE POCONOS WAS A MESS.90% of the ammenities didnt work. they kept saying people were coming to fix things and than they never did. we gave them $9,000 and it was a terrible experience. the owner of holidaykeepers is a known scam artist. They agreed to refund $1900 8 months ago which I have yet to receive. The house we rented was posted not rentable by the local authorities so we were switched to another. Second house was dirty, with mice running around all night long and standing water in the basement.
