Because I can read sheetmusic, although slowly, now I can make my mind and fingers understand each other. Also the sheet music is becoming easier with the added knowledge of the theory.

hearandplay.com is absolutely awesome. I have been a student for 4 and 1/2 months now and have learned so much about the piano scales, notes, chords, the sofleg system , where to place your fingers I mean it is definitely worth the investment. My mom was the choir director in our church for years but I never took it on as a kid. But its been one of my personal goals for years.. i guess because its in my blood. Just glad I found Jermaime Griggs and Hear and Play.

I have participated in many keyboard training sessions, and hands down, Hear and Play are Top of the creme. They begin with the keys and chords, then there is a test to be certain you can name and clarify what was taught. No room for confusion

I like Hear and Play. I spoke with Jermiaha over the phone. He called me after I made my appointment. I could hear his passion for playing gospel. He told me all about the program and how it would benefit me. He had me look at some of his current and former students. They were playing very well. I enjoyed the information provided and was able to make an informed decision. I like that I talked to a real person and not a machine. I still have his phone number so I can call and ask questions if I have more that needs to be answered. This was a great information session. There was no pressure to join the program. He just asked me what I wanted. I told him that I want to play for a church and he told me that I would learn how to with this program.

The teaching is so great that I googled where I could leave them a review. Their positivity and encouragement while teaching make me want to practice even more. The platform is easy to use and it’s nice to have a network of others who are trying to do the same thing as you… become great at piano. My favorite thing about the teaching style is they explain all of the theory well, but they also emphasize playing by ear and recognizing by ear what you’re hearing and the theory behind it. It’s all broken down in a way that’s not overwhelming and easy to understand. Some of the guest teachers are like the mentors and legends to the stars. The players player if you will. It is focused on gospel piano, but everything you learn carries to other genres such as rnb, soul, hip hop and even jazz. You don’t have to be religious or even Christian to learn. No matter what your beliefs are, you will appreciate the positivity of the instructors and their faith based encouragement. Check it out!
