I applied to and interviewed at several schools that I realized were not a good fit almost immediately upon arriving. I definitely wish I’d known before I got there and saved a little time and money.
Useful tool. I struggled for a couple of mins finding a section with reviews. But besides that, I definitely recommend it.
At first, I hesitated to buy. $50 sounds like a lot for reviews and school info. But in retrospect, it helped me filter out schools that provide good research experience. In addition, they saved me hours by providing a spreadsheet with all the school info.
I liked the way they structured the information. All the data from adea explorer is in one table, and it makes it convenient to compare tuition, average gpas and dats, and other information among schools.
This site has helped me narrow down schools and compare their programs to what I want to do. I was able to eliminate many schools right away because of the comprehensive information here, especially the school rankings.Saved me time and money in the process.
A lot of useful info in reviews. I considered Midwestern school. They are great at providing clinical experience and prioritize staying up-to-date on the latest instrumentation and technology. However, in terms of specialization (Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, in my case), it requires a lot more individual effort.It does not mean that I eliminated this school from my priority list, but if I end up being accepted to this school and schools geared more towards specialization, this is a very critical info for me to consider.
