Great Experience! Im a first time homebuyer buyer who used Fincast to find a lender. The mortgage rate and estimated costs to close were significantly less than 3 of the other lenders I was shopping. The site was easy to navigate and highly recommend to anyone buying a home or refinancing.
Fincast is a gamechanger! I originally was quoted very high interest rates by the large lenders and Fincast provided a borrower-friendly service to help me rate shop on fair, market values. They saved me about $300 a month in P&L costs on my loan, a huge win in today's housing market.

Great product, brought my rate down to 4.99% from an initial quote of 5.75% on a 30 year fixed rate mortgage while also matching the original closing costs for a total monthly savings of 8%. As a first-time home buyer, it was great to have someone on my side to help through the loan shopping process. I loved how they don't sell your information to the lenders and are very good about laying out the offers that come back. The responses were prompt and I felt better knowing that the lenders had been vetted in some way by Fincast. The lender that I went with that beat my previous lenders offer was really great to work with. The next time I need to shop around for a loan I will definitely give have Fincast look over the estimate first.
Using Fincast was super easy, smooth, and clear. I really liked how I was able to get lenders to compete for my benefit without having to face them, and face them individually. It made the rate shopping much easier for me. This is especially helpful when there are other 100 things that I have to juggle as a homebuyer.

I read about this site on reddit and decided to give it a try - it's free after all. I wasn't actually them to come back with much, rates have climbed a lot even in the few days since I locked a loan with a mortgage broker. I was expecting some automated analysis, but heard back quickly from Benjamin Schieken, who was very helpful and responsive. In the end they actually found a lender that came within 0.1 points of my rate, with slightly lower closing costs. I'll definitely use them again for my next loan, if they were able to come close to my estimate during a time when rates are climbing rapidly they might actually find a lower rate in more normal times.
