Customer service is always great.Luckly, I have yet to use the emergency services.That said I have full confidence in the product when I travel abroad.

Rapid Doctor advice in Myanmar.
My wife had been ill for a whole on a recent overland trip in Myanmar. We contacted Global rescue at 02:00am, not expecting much as it wasn’t life or death, just wanted advice to prevent a situation becoming serious as we got more remote. Much to our appreciation they responded right away and had a doctor decide what antibiotics we needed which we obtained from the local hospital. They then proceeded to check in with us everyday to make sure they were working ok. Used Global for years on and off but this was the first time I actually called for help.

I was flat on my back on a boat in Australia - I called Global Rescue-they said it would be a week before they could get me. The ONLY time I TRIED to use the service

The quick response with information I need
The quick response, once again, was evident in my reaching out to Global Rescue. Moreover, I appreciate how thorough the information I always receive makes my decisions so much easier. I have total confidence that I will get what need in using Global Rescue. That is why I have been a member for years.

Timely Rescue at Mt. Aconcagua
I would like to sincerely thank Global Rescue team for the swift support provided during my recent expedition to Aconcagua in Argentina. Due to a medical condition, I was requested to be evacuated immediately and Global rescue team acted swiftly by sending over an helicopter, and got me to the hospital safely; they even continued to follow up for next few days to check if I am doing OK. Exceptional service, and when it was needed the most! Thank you Global Rescue team, this will be outstanding and will be remembered forever. Best regards, Sasikumar

They refused to evacuate my husband
We purchased evacuation insurance for our trip to Kenya. My husband fell ill and Global Rescue Refused to evacuate my husband from the camp in Nairobi to the hospital in Nairobi. They said he had to be deemed stable by a medical professional before they would move him. We were trying to move him to a medical facility!What’s the point of evacuation insurance if you have to have a doctor with you before they will come get you?I emailed them on two different occasions, requesting a refund of the premium that we paid and they have completely ignored my emails

First Class Medical Ops' Service, Lifesaver
Fabulous experience and we've been with Global Rescue for years. They run a first class medical ops' desk and they've helped me in Patagonia, interfacing with my Mayo doctors, etc. Super cool service. Just do it.

I have never had to file a claim
I have never had to file a claim, so really can't rate much. My only complaint to date is the fac that there is no coverage for a couple...just for a single or a family. I should not be paying the same premiums as a family of four or six, when I am retired and it is just my wife and I traveling.

When my husband became ill while we were in France, Global Rescue would call me every day and also speak with the doctors. It gave me peace of mind...however when they sent through the translated hospital discharged notes they were done by AI and not checked by a human....it said my husbands name, then the word deceased instead of domiciled!🤣

You provide me with security when I am of an age when it is difficult/very expensive to get travel insurance.I have not had to draw on your coverage...but it is consoling to know you are there.
