This is the way to go! It's so much better to have your own boat than being crammed onto another with 50 people you diont know! Very affordable and a great experience!

The wonderful Captain and his daughter
The wonderful Captain and his daughter. Great team, they worked together to make our trip very enjoyable. We were able to watch the sunset. Left my watch onboard and he actually met us to return it.

The Captain didnt know anything about the area - he rarely used to drive a boat so at the end it was a very bad experience

We had a wonderful day from the start with a perfect pick up, they took us to some beautiful spots, remote islands, amazing caves, snorkeling and unforgettable places even enjoying good homemade snacks and à very friendly crew.100 % recommended

Terrible Experience with GetMyBoat and AnabelaOur group of eight traveled from the U.S. to Cape Town, South Africa for the first time in December. I booked a yacht through the GetMyBoat app for a four-hour cruise on Sunday, December 21, starting at 1:00 PM. Anabela, a representative, assisted me via the app to secure the booking.While in South Africa on Monday, December 15, Anabela informed me that their annual inspection was scheduled for Friday, December 19, and they needed a certificate to set sail. She said she would confirm by Friday if the cruise could proceed. I thanked her for the update.Friday came and went without any communication. On Saturday, December 20, I messaged her twice via the app asking for an update—no response. Late that night, I received an email titled BOOKING CONFIRMED, stating our trip was confirmed for Sunday, December 21, with eight people. We were excited and scrambled to prepare.On Sunday, we booked two Ubers for the 1 hour 15-minute trip to the address listed (165 Beach Road). One Uber even stopped so we could pick up food, snacks, and alcohol. When we arrived, the address turned out to be a hotel with no further instructions. Confused, we started calling GetMyBoat support. Eventually, one person reached a representative, who apparently contacted Anabela. I then received a message from her apologizing for the lack of response and informing me they did not receive the certificate and would only get it Monday at lunch. She offered to reschedule or refund—at 1:15 PM on the day of our cruise.There was no empathy or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Our entire Sunday was ruined, and we had to book two more Ubers back to our villa. We were leaving South Africa the next day, so rescheduling wasn’t an option. This experience wasted time, money, and a significant part of our trip.Horrible experience with Anabela and GetMyBoat. I would not recommend.

I had an issue with a double booking, and your customer service team was on top of it. The owner of the boat had great communication with me and overall it was an excellent experience. Can’t wait to do it again!

Communication terrific
Communication terrific. Pick up, time place on point. No hidden extras. Would have liked a little more info on highlights rather than have to ask what things were but happy for the price we paid
