**SCAM** We were charged $2,198 for a full annual Hearth subscription that we never used, not once. No financing, no transactions, no benefit whatsoever. When we contacted them, the response was basically: “It auto-renewed. Our policy says no refunds.” That was the extent of it. No real discussion, no escalation, and no effort to find a resolution.What’s especially troubling is that the auto-renewal was buried deep in pages of fine print, yet they refer to it as their “standard contract,” as if automatically renewing a $2,198 yearly subscription without clear notice is normal or reasonable. We never received the renewal reminder they claim was sent TWO months prior. There was no clear or meaningful warning before the charge went through, and we called to cancel and request a refund within two minutes of the transaction only to be offered 10% back, but in this situation we'll do $750 like they are doing me a favor.Our requests to speak with a manager led nowhere. For a company that markets itself as a supportive partner to contractors, this experience was unethical and far from fair or transparent business practice.
