Knowledgeable, personable, efficient -- a joy to work with!
The Garden Foundations team is a joy to work with! Whether you're in need of advice on which crops / plants to grow, want help starting seeds, want another set of eyes in laying out a garden plan, or need help maximizing yields / the health of your growing space, look no further! Hengelh is extremely personable and knowledgeable about different growth mediums, aeration, irrigation, and soil enrichment. He's definitely the "jump-right-in-and-get-to-work" type but isn't afraid to pivot if/when a different approach proves to be more effective. If you're looking to maintain or create healthy crops / plants with holistic, natural, and synergistic techniques that work with the environment, you've found your people!

Gardeners Extraordinaire!
The experience was phenomenal because Garden Foundations showed up on time and they offered additional suggestions that helped with my homes curb side appeal. The suggestions were things I hadn't thought about. They also went to get the extra material needed for their recommendation. Their expertise with gardening and planning was very evident. I whole heartedly recommend them to others.

Garden Foundations listened to me and…
Garden Foundations listened to me and what my goals were for an edible and substainable garden. It was a joint collaboration and what was most important is that they considered the fact that it had to be a garden that I could maintain and enjoy at 80+ years of age. The education in the use of organic materials available in my yard (i.e. leaves from my trees) was helpful and I continue to use the method today. My garden is thriving and Garden Foundations has continued to check in on the health and flourishing of my garden. Note: It's so satisfying to plan a meal and get the ingredients from my garden. Thank you Hengehl and Rachel for sharing your love, knowledge and passion for gardening and the environment.

I would absolutely recommend!
Hengelh was an enormous help to me in the summer of 2022. When my gardening project grew too big to handle on my own, he stepped in and saved the day. Wildlife is no longer feasting on my fruits and veggies, and I have a strawberry patch that I can enjoy for seasons to come! I would 10/10 recommend him for any future gardening projects.
