they put a hold on my account claiming i have passed away. sent everything they wanted to show i am still in the world. do not know how they come up with this without any death certificate, very disappointed with them can not even get back my over payment not inclulding the bonus promised/

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this credit card company! It will be pure hell and you will regret it! Please don’t be fooled by the American Express logo! After numerous attempts to resolve this with Embark Card Servcies I have been unsuccessful so I’m writing this due to the charge of $52.10 being assessed to my account. This is unfair and should not have been done and the amount should’ve never been deducted from my refund without my consent I reached out several months or so ago regarding interest assessed on my account. I put in a complaint with a supervisor named Wanda and she recommended I also send an email. I have been totally unhappy with the service received with this company since I received my credit card. My experience with this company has been disappointing to say the least, especially when they advertise your affiliation with American Express, however, the customer service and the willingness to assist a customer and grant some leniency does not align with that of American Express. I recently received a refund to this credit card from a merchant and although I was disputing the interest fee charged, this company has deducted it from my refund. In addition to that, I noticed my account was assessed an additional $11 and some change in interest and that was also deducted from my refund. I am also waiting for resolution for this dispute and have not received an update as of today. This is by far the worst Credit Card company I have ever seen and I’d like my $52.10 refunded back to my account and some type of resolve as it was not yours to take but it was part of my refund. I look forward to a reply ASAP. charged from a refund credit that I received on the account. This is unfair and should not have been done. I would appreciate if someone could get back to me as soon as possible regarding this matter or just simply refund the $56 back to my account. Embark Credit Card’s, Customer Service representatives lack knowledge, empathy and skills. Thank you and I look forward to someone’s reply and receiving a full refund to the money that was deducted from my credit on your account for the months of May and June 2024.

Embark is my only card that is a Hassel when I make my payment by phone because it doesn't retain basic info; complete card number must be entered each time, banking routing number & account number must be entered each time. Other companies have simplified this payment process by retaining all that info & only ask barest minimum making payment process smooth & quick. Your process is cumbersome
