We had an amazing time on our food tour in Istanbul with Dilara! She took us to some very unique spots that we would never have found on our own and was very knowledgeable about the locations, history, and culture. Highly recommend it!

We had a lovely time with Mehmet, although it was cold and raining it didn’t matter because of the good vibes, laughs, conversation topics and of course tasty food. I would recommend trying this tour at the beginning of your Istanbul trip. Don’t hesitate to book this experience, it was our favorite thing in Istanbul!
This was the best experience and it was my 3rd time doing it, the experience is very tailored to your own likes and niche interests or whichever places you choose to go prior to meeting with Hasan. He has a list of famous places that he takes you like Balat, Üsküdar/Kuzguncuk and Karakoy but it doesn’t feel like your every day tour since he goes out of his way to take you to unique places that you wouldn’t otherwise see on your own. The food tour is the best since you get to try different cuisines that you wouldn’t otherwise find on your own. For example I love matcha and I was able to find matcha in Istanbul thanks to Hasan. He also took me to a few famous places I saw on TikTok that I asked him about prior to meeting with me.
I did the games (okey101 and backgammon) experience with İlkin and I can’t recommend it enough! We went to two different coffee houses and spent hours playing together. He was kind, patient, helpful, fun, a great conversationalist and super knowledgeable about the history and culture of Istanbul, happy to talk about various subjects and give insight into life here. He also gave a small presentation on the history of coffee and coffee houses in Turkey that was super interesting. Going in I felt kinda silly paying someone to teach me games, and afterwards I felt it was well worth every penny and even more, as I will carry these games with me for life and learned so much during our time together. Book today if you want to make your trip to Istanbul even more memorable :)
This was my third time booking an experience, and it definitely gives my trips that extra something that you just don’t get everywhere else. I’m not an organised tour kind of person, but these experiences are different. You get an insight into what it’s like to live in Istanbul, a flavour of places outside of the typical tourist trail, and a ‘guide’ (I use that term loosely because they feel more like a local friend) to show you around lots of interesting places, without feeling rushed. It feels very different to some experiences where you can feel like you’ve paid for a very impersonal service. Highly recommended - and the food I experienced on this third trip was so good! Booking the experience was straightforward and easy, no issues there at all. And I appreciated the extra guides and travel information that were provided beforehand, giving some great tips for travellers to Istanbul. Thanks Hasan, until next time!
Mert was amazing. We had a phenomenal time with them - they made us feel like true natives in Istanbul. Instead of going to the most popular landmarks, we loved experiencing Istanbul through lesser known places. Mert thoroughly explained the history of the city while also making it feel like we were hanging out with a friend. Would highly recommend recommend booking with them!
My partner and I had the absolute best time with Mert and Mehmet! Going around the Balat neighborhood with two Balat natives gave us an experience we could have never had on our own. A mix of local neighborhood food joints and local culture and history - but the best part was that by the end of the tour it felt more like just hanging out with some friends. Also they took great pictures of us that we’ll always have to remember the day by. Would recommend to anyone!
This is a great platform to book any of your excursions while in Morocco! My family specifically booked the excursion to explore Istanbul for a day with Mert, who was the most amazing guide. We would not have experienced the level of depth within the city, culture, food without him. He even went out of his way and brought us to the Asian side of Istanbul after we mentioned really wanting to go there! If you want someone you can trust, who is an expert, I highly recommend booking through this site for a tour with Mert! He is the reason my family enjoyed Istanbul so much, and cannot wait to go back. There is truly no one I would trust more as a guide in Turkey - I have since booked more excursions through earthissimo for my godparents (that’s how much I trust him!), who enjoyed 2 full days of touring with him. He was confident that he would take good care of them, and he absolutely did. He was patient, answered their questions, and was able to fully immerse them into both the more famous places, as well as the lesser known neighborhoods. He puts so much effort into his work. If you’re thinking about booking here, don’t hesitate!
Mert was really knowledgeable from everything about the culture, local life, history and architecture in city of Istanbul. It was great to have our fortune told and try so many Turkish deserts. Recommend to anyone who is keen to learn in a relaxed format and hang out with friendly tour guides.

Enjoyed the food experience as we learned a lot not just about the different foods but also about the day to day life of people in Turkiye. Our guide Mert was very knowledgeable and had lots of interesting facts/stories that we otherwise would not have found out on our own. We also enjoyed walking the neighborhood and learning about people and places. Overall a very positive experience and worth the money. Would definitely recommend to other visitors to Istanbul

Yesterday we spent the afternoon with the delightful Hasan, who took us through parts of Istanbul that we would never have found. It was his local area and he shared his stories and tastes of food at all his favourite local outlets. His knowledge and generosity was amazing and we have had a day we will remember forever.
