Rachel is very efficient, timely and genuinely cares for the dogs. The tracking app and the many photos she sends along the way, show that she cares about the owners too.

Delivery was seamless. Even though I called last minute and weather was not ideal, my pup was delivered timely. Also provided pictures and progress along the way from Missouri to Texas.

Awesome company!
Communication the whole way. Very kind to my sweet cat. So thankful for them. They were able to pick up my pet quickly and headed my way across half of the United States. I would definitely recommend them!

Be Careful
This review is based on our personal experience and opinion. We hired Door to Door Pet Delivery LLC and paid a premium to transport our rescue dog from Dallas to Buffalo based on private transport (solo dog) with alternating drivers, straight through travel and GPS tracking. Those expectations were not met.Firstly, This transport was not private, as the drivers’ personal dogs were also on board. While we did not have an issue with this, it was not disclosed at the time of booking.For the first 24 hours, despite repeatedly requesting it, GPS tracking was not provided and we were given excuse after excuse as to why they couldn’t. During that time, we had no way to know where our dog was, other than what they told us verbally. About 15 hours after they picked up our dog, the drivers finally disclosed that they were in Oklahoma. After we again asked for their GPS location, they then confessed they they “took a wrong turn” and that they were actually in Colorado. Meaning, our dog had traveled in the opposite direction, and was hours FARTHER from where they started. A few hours before we picked her up, we realized that photos taken with iPhone include both location data and time stamps. That information directly contradicted the locations we were told they were in.This was not a weather-related delay but a culmination of untruths. Our dog did experience diarrhea during transport and the drivers made several stops to manage it, however, this does not explain the vehicle traveling in the wrong direction immediately after pickup. As a result, our dog who came from a traumatic background, was in transit for over 48 hours. This transport was to have taken approximately 24 hours, with obvious allowances for weather or unforeseen situations to arise.We eventually did pick up our dog in Detroit because it made the “transport” trip shorter, and our trip longer, but we just wanted her in our possession. The drivers we kind, however while our dog did arrive safely, the overall experience was extremely distressing. When we raised these concerns to the owner Rachel, we were disappointed by the lack of accountability. She offered a $300 reduction, but when we asked for further consideration, given everything that happened, the reduction was withdrawn and she threatened us with legal action by text and email. We paid in full to bring the matter to a close.Did our dog make it from point A to point B? Yes. But the experience was arduous. We will not use this company again.

Door to door pet delivery was such a blessing in getting our dog moved from Visalia California to Queretaro , Mexico just 2 hrs north of Mexico City they did it very timely on schedule and they were very and sweet and nice to my Dog ! Please consider using their services for a pet transport !

We recently used door to door pet delivery for our new puppy, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. They made something we were honestly nervous about feel safe, organized, and full of care.Communication was excellent the whole way through—we received regular updates, photos, and clear scheduling so we always knew what was happening. The vehicle was clean, temperature-controlled, and you could tell they prioritize the animals’ comfort over rushing. When our puppy arrived, he was calm, clean, and happy, not stressed or shaky like we feared he might be. You can’t fake that kind of care.A special thank you to our driver, Rachel. She was truly the heart of this experience. From the moment she picked him up, we could tell he was in the best hands possible. She treated him like family—giving him water and potty breaks, comfort when he needed it, and gentle reassurance throughout the trip. She went above and beyond by sending photos, videos, and thoughtful check-ins along the way, which made us feel included rather than anxious. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and cares about every animal she transports.By the time she pulled into our driveway, our puppy hopped out happy, relaxed, and trusting—and that doesn’t just happen. That’s because of Rachel’s kindness, professionalism, and patience.If you’re considering this company, we highly recommend them. We couldn’t be more grateful for the care, transparency, and heart they put into bringing our new family member home safely. This was my first time having a kitten…
This was my first time having a kitten transported, and long distance at that (Conneticut to Louisiana). As a veterinary specialist (criticalist), I know all too well how stressful long drives can be (especially for cats), and was absolutely terrified of any and all possible complications. I researched several pet transport services, but ultimatley decided to proceed with Door to Door Pet Delivery due to their extensive background and shining reviews. My experience with Door to Door Pet Delivery was exceptional. There were no issues with communication, whatsoever. During the transport, I was working (very hectic days), though anytime I would check in on how my baby was doing, I received a response within minutes. Anyone who has ever traveled long distances with cats knows just how stressful this can be (as I have previously traveled with two cats from Michigan to Louisiana), but the photos, videos, and texts during the journey clearly depicted the exceptional care and attention provided to my new kitten. Jay (driver) was phenomenal and sent multiple videos of my little boy cuddling with him (very clearly comfortable and happy), eating, using his litter box, etc. Again, long drives can be so stressful for our little fur kiddos, but Door to Door Pet Delivery made the entire process as easy as possible. Should I ever have to transport one of my pets long distance in the future, I would 1000% use Door to Door Pet Delivery! Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing an amazing job and taking such good care of our little Vernon!

Professional, reliable transportation
Our driver, Monica, was great. Good communication, and a timely delivery, even with the weather being worse than we anticipated. Reasonable fee. We were very satisfied, and won't hesitate to use Door to Door Pet Delivery again if we need transport

Special Delivery
We had previously had a pup be delivered via air freight on a commercial airline (this was over 16 yrs ago). I guess Covid changed things plus it had to be rough on the pets being cooped up in a cage in the cargo hold of a jet airliner. My wife searched companies that would deliver pets. We found D2DPD. I was impressed with their website: very informative and professional. I was even more impressed when I was communicating with Rachel be it by phone, text or email. Always responsive and willing to make my wife and I feel comfortable with the entire process. My only issue is that I don't think we had access to Life360 to be able to actually track the progress. HOWEVER, we did get texts when the driver was 1.5 hrs out and a half hour out. They were there on the dot! We have to say that given this was our first experience with this type of service, we are very pleased with the pricing, process and results. I would definitely recommend them.

Safe long journey
Rachel and Thomas were responsive and easy to work with. Thomas picked my dog up in San Antonio Texas and delivered her safely 19.5 hours later. He kept us informed along the way and when to expect his arrival. Thomas provided a toy bear for the trip and she greets us when we come home with the bear.Reliable company and reasonably priced.
