DC DMV SMH
Ok, this is my rating today and for this situation! In my and the people's opinion if you show up at DC Benning Road DMV or any, why not service people with things that DMV wants you to do online. Trump want to cut, fire etc Federal employees to save money or for whatever else. He needs to come to the DC Government DMV and start at the DMV because if we have to do everything at home and use our paper leaving minium work for DMV clerks/staff then they don't need their jobs and Government money can be saved. The DMV knows if the residence are doing the work at home that they can do away with some of their staff or Trump should do it! Yes your job for not extending courtesy to in person renewals/service ...!!!!

When is the American government going…
When is the American government going to pass a law on All these buy here and payday loans companies taking advantage of Americans they charge extremely high prices and costing thousands to pay back and don't report to credit bureaus but if you don't end up paying they report you not paying IF they can report you not paying then they should be made to report you paying off their loan prices the only time you don't report money is because you also stealing from the government taxes!!!!

Georgtown DMV Jacqueline Rutherford is the best!
I and a 30yr+ dc resident, and I just had the best dmv experience ever in all that time. This was at the Georgetown DMV! The staff was great. The reason for my great experience, and the reason I wanted to write a review, is because of my stellar experience with Jacqueline Rutherford. She works at Window1 there. She was knowledge and efficient. I was there to get a new real ID license and I as in and out in 30 min. What stood out in the help I got from Jacqueline Rutherford was her friendly, kind, and personable customer series. I felt very comfortable and knew I was good hands. It is unusual to not have a stressful experience, so I wanted to enthusiastically acknowledge her. for anyone coming to a DC DMV, you will have a good experience if you prepare the application and the documents before you get there. do you research to figure out better times to go there, when least crowded. And they are human too. If you go there with a positive attitude, it goes a long way. Show these hard working employees respect and friendliness. They are not your employees or servants--the will not jump to meet your demands. Go in with realistic expectations. If you go there with a bad attitude--if you go to the DMV with a bad attitude--defensive, irritable, and being aggressively demanding, you will be the one to make the experience. Again, that's all on you, not them. Ms. Rutherford is the model DMV employee that others should learn to emulate.

Bad Culture towards immigrants
The day (Saturday) started off well and seemed to be quite efficient at first with the line moving quickly. Cracks started to appear when I was told to return home for a document which was not listed as a requirement on the website for the purpose of my visit. On my return, I was pushed from one staff member to another who had little knowledge of a New Zealand license, as the master license booklet not updated. No one particularly wanted to help provide a solution, and the front counter lady in particular was straight out rude and unhelpful. I also watched a number of staff members openly mock hispanic members of the public and their little knowledge of English. There is an extremely bad culture in the Georgetown branch of treating immigrants poorly, this needs to immediately be addressed. The security guard however was fantastic, a nice guy who checked in with me at the end as saw I was clearly frustrated with the poor service. Total visit time around 4 hours for a license change on a quiet day, not good enough

I left crying
Gave me a hard time for just moving to DC. I almost left crying. Rude, insensitive workers that wouldn’t take my proof of addresses in the form of insurance statements I had printed off line or my sublease agreement. Make sure you know what kind of statement they need and that you have the original lease on hand. I had even called before hand to double check I had everything I needed only to find out that I would waste my time in there and $22 on the parking garage because now I have to go back again.
