Window Frame Satisfaction

I received the entry door window frame promptly after ordering it. The old frame was snapped from overly aggressive door activity. Four alignment posts were snapped on the new frame; but after consulting with Keegan about the issue, he explained that the posts were solely for the purpose of shipping. This was not a factor for the integrity of the window frame, as it went together very well after screwing into place with the old window between it. I would order again if needed. I have a door sweep on order from them as well, and will send a review after installing that. Keegan was very friendly and helpful when I called with my concern.

Ordered a number of door parts and…

Ordered a number of door parts and window inserts. Had an issue with quality of one after almost a year (fingerprints appearing internally); they replaced the window, and followed up on my satisfaction. Awesome customer service.

Great experience!

My husband and I had ordered new sidelights for our front entry door. From start to finish, customer service was wonderful. I had a few questions prior to placing the order, and every question was answered in depth. At the time of placing our order, we were given an approximate date for shipping, and that date was right on cue. I would definitely use DIY Doorstore again, if and when the need arises.

Keegan ruined DIYDoorStore for me.

I have used DIYdoorstore.com several times for french door-lite kits & frames, as I operate a glass company and sometimes have a need for the standard 22 (or 20) x 64, 15-lite grilles/1-lite frames. I usually order a frame only and source my own insulated glass for less, since I order so much of it through fabricators. I accidentally ordered a couple of frames WITH glass, and I immediately emailed them less than 5 min after my order was placed (I ordered GF2264W-1LLE by mistake). I tried calling, and got no answer, but it was just after COB, so I understood. Keegan was responsive via email the next morning, and I was REASSURED in writing that the order was changed over to a 1" frame only (part # F2264W-1L1). I even have a refund confirmation for the difference in price (this was ALMOST an awesome experience). My glass supplier had been given an order for 1" units at this point and they were in production. I ask him to confirm that the frames being shipped out are for 1" glass, since that is an option that must be specifically selected on the site, and he says "no we only sell glass + frame kits for 1/2" glass" - which set off the alarm bells. Turns out, he allowed the order to ship instead of changing it over to the 1" frame only option, like he said he had and issued the refund for on the previous day. I think he forgot, but wouldn't admit the mistake. I could not have been clearer with the provided part #s. I called him because I ended up needing the GF2264W-1LLEs for another customer, just by luck, and I told Keegan that, and he was quick to want to charge me for that difference. I said "wait a minute now, I may still need the 1" frames and this was could have put me in a rough position if I didn't happen to have a second customer call for another set of fogged french doors - and before even allowing me to finish, he cut me off and said rudely, "I GUESS WE ARE ALL SET!" and ended the conversation - he didn't allow me to even get to the point to say that I still needed the 1" frames and that we could charge the card for the full lite kits on the order for the frames. Because of his mistake and the refund already issued, I would have had 2 ea GF2264W-1LLEs (for the price of 2 ea F2264W-1L1s) and a second order for 2 ea F2264W-1L1s (for the price of GF2264W-1LLEs). He was so quick to write me off as someone who just wanted to save the $90 bucks, despite the fact that I have ordered several times in the past.. Maybe he couldn't see my order history. Maybe he didn't care to listen. Maybe he took me wrong. But this will be my last transaction with DIYdoorstore.com because of Keegan's attitude on the phone. I ended up sourcing the 1" white frames that I STILL needed for the first customer for $12.00 overall after shipping and taxes and they weren't rude at all at Framework Ind. - worth the extra $12 not to be snapped at.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE THIEVES

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE THIEVES. Door bottom was NOT the size advertised!!!!. Cost for part and shipping 25. Return shipping 18. They refunded 11$ cause of restocking? What a crock of bull. Shop elsewhere for stuff where the dimensions are correct.

Id ordered a replacement door bottom…

Id ordered a replacement door bottom sweep for an exterior Stanley enrty door on the front of my house.Somewhere in the order I got sent the incorrect sweep. I sent an email about the oversight and didn't receive a response for 3 days.Sent another email and received a quick response the following morning about the issue. Keegan asked for the order number and measurement of the sweep I reveived.I provided all info and Kergan responded back quickly that a sweep of the correct length would be shipped out and he would provide tracking for the replacement order.Next morning I received an email stating the order was started and shipped with tracking provided.Three days later it arrived at my doorstep !Keegan went out of his way in seeing I received the correct sweep I had originally ordered. In this day and age of lack of customer service, its nice to find a company that still strives in making the customer happy !Kind regards

Not paintable

I ordered two full lites. The inserts were fine. They didnt fit perfectly but close enough. They bow a little. The problem was painting the frames. If you dont want white plastic frames dont order. They are not paintable. I asked the company how to paint. They just said use a primer which I did. It all peeled off. I asked again for a specific primer to use. They said any plastic primer. I did it again and it all peeled off again. Both primers I used were for plastic. My doors look terrible after spending $500. I should have just bought new doors.
