It's a long list
It's a long list, but it comes down to one simple thing -- these people don't see you as a guest. Little signs everywhere to remind you that every tiny thing will be an additional charge. Constant reminders that there could be an additional charge if you ask them to do anything at all should you talk to support. I tell them they need bath mats in their showers so people don't slip and kill themselves and they complain that OTHER people have never said anything about it. I tell them about other issues in the property and they make it seem like they're somehow my fault. When I accidentally left some clothes behind they destroyed them. Take your business elsewhere. Don't let these people ruin your vacation -- pick ANYWHERE else but with these people. Don't reward bad behavior.

I was in the shower when my wife started yelling from below. The tubs pipes were leaking and coming through the bottom floor ceiling into the kitchen. We had to leave for the day and they said they would hopefully fix it by the next day. They came to look at it, but no one ever communicated whether it was fixed or not, so we had to take showers elsewhere. Customer service with Sweet Home Vacation has since been awful. We have to email 2-3X to get someone to respond and we simply asked for one night stay back considering we could not use the shower or water upstairs. No reply.

From the moment we pulled up to the rental in Davenport FL, we knew it was a MISTAKE. The front door entrance was DIRTY & SMELLLY. Once we walked in the front door, we automatically knew it wasn’t cleaned. The house just smelled like it sat vacated for months, smelled like mildew . The floors was dirty, the outdoor patio was old & broken. The walls in every living space was dirty & had holes in a few places. The bathrooms was outdated, smelled like mildew & there was black mold in the damn showers. The “mattress protector” didn’t protect anything because it was all dirty and had stains on them. Even the water had a mild smell to it. The wifi sucked. The house rental literally changed the entire mood of the trip due to FALSE ADVERTISING & MARKETING. Because nothing was luxurious about the rental home, my family and I, stayed in. They didn’t even tried to hire a cleaning company at all, it was ALL HORRIBLE to have paid almost $1200. Y’all need to do better.

I have been renting from sweet homes since 2014.i had a few small issues but nothing major.Stephen in great.Larry the manager is great.Any issues that I ever had was immediately taken care of.I never had a problem with them not responding to my emails or phone calls.Thank you Stephen and Larry for great customer service.

DO NOT rent using this company! We rented a weeks stay in one of their rental homes in Davenport FL this July and it was HORRIBLE. We have over 40 photos and vides of the repairs and issues within the home. From the minute we walked in and saw the extensive holes in walls, rotted drywall, fixtures (curtain rods and outlets) that were falling out of walls, blood on mattresses, stains on lamps and shower stall doors broken we reached out for a remedy and was assured we would be relocated within 48 hours however they then ghosted us for days with no solution. We reached out multiple times via email and phone calls with no success. The property management company even acknowledged they knew "the state of the property" but were not authorized to repair/replace items. It was disgusting and they DID NOT RESPOND or help fix the issues. TERRIBLE customer service and FALSE MARKETING of the property!!!

Would give them negative stars if possible.This Orlando condo was incredibly run down, with a thermostat that only went down to 72 and no fans (which meant that even in March, the place felt stuffy and oppressive), stained carpets, ripped screens, and spring mattresses that were all terribly uncomfortable. Just based on the unit alone, I would give them no more than one star.During the second day, a stranger typed the code into the door and walked in, saying he was a realtor and that the owner gave him permission to come in and take pictures. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.And then came the bill. Sorta. To get an itemized receipt, I had to send a half dozen emails, and what I received back was typed into an email, not an actual receipt. And the itemization came out to over $300 less than what I was actually charged. Unclear if I will get my money back, but hoping you all can avoid the same mistake.

Over priced for a run down house
Over priced for a run down house. we spent everyday on our vacation dealing with coming that was not working properly. Steven was not helpful most times and I’m sure that I was actually talking to several different people even though it said I was only speaking with “Steven” through the Airbnb platform. Beds were broken, dressers drawers falling out, dressers were stuffed in closets, pool cues had no ends on them, didn’t have a bbq when we showed up ( paid extra ), tv remotes had dead batteries, air conditioning didn’t work properly, garbage all over the place at the front door that they never came and cleaned up, coffee maker didn’t work.. that’s all just off the top of my head. He addressed each issues with “ so sorry, we will be sure to fix that for the next guests”. Wouldn’t recommend staying in a place under this company’s management

DO NOT USE SWEET HOME VACATIONS AND DO NOT TRUST THEIR AGENTS. My family and I, just had such an emotionally devastating situation happen with this company and I would never want to see such a thing happen to any other family! Our agent was so disrespectful and rude, all the while, she was scamming us! I cried for the first few days of our trip it was so bad! I felt like I had let down my kids, my husband, my elderly mother and also my sister in law and niece. Our agent sent me an email about a week or so before we left for our fully paid vacation home and said the house we rented was no longer available. She gave me a new address for a house that was in a completely different resort instead. My extended family from Florida had already booked a place in that resort, it was so upsetting and disappointing to have to tell them what happened. After our flight was delayed 3 times, we got our rental car and headed to this new house and resort. The email from our agent with the property address had a link to open to get the door code. I decided to pull it up as we were driving, however, that link she sent me, didn’t work anymore! It was 1am at this point so I contacted the emergency # provided to get the door code. They didn’t answer, only texted me back saying that they let my agent know the day before that this property was no longer available. I didn’t know what to do?! My husband had to pull off the highway and to the side of the road so we could now wait to find out where on earth we were going to sleep that night! The management company texted us an address for yet another house in yet another resort! When we got to that house, it was not even big enough for my whole family and was not at all like what we had originally rented and paid for! The next day, first thing in the morning, I tried to contact our agent at Sweet Home Vacations for hours and hours. She was ignoring all phone calls from me and from my husband. Mid afternoon she sent an email saying that her landline wasn’t working. Such a bad liar! Her email wasn’t a bit remorseful and she wasn’t empathetic at all about what we had been put through the evening before. She denied knowing anything about the 2nd house not being available and basically just didn’t seem to care about our situation at all. I asked to be refunded for our many troubles and her response to that was she has to charge me the nights stay in the house (that was too small) along with a $300 cleaning fee!! When she did finally say she would refund my money, she made it clear that, that did not mean she was going to put us up in another house. She said that “our business will be done” once refunded. Her nonsense went on and on but she finally gave us an option to cancel the refund and put us in yet another house in yet another resort!! THIS COMPANY COMPENSATED US NOTHING, YET CHANGED OUR HOME 4 TIMES AFTER IT WAS PAID IN FULL!!! THIS WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!! THEY ARE OUT TO SCAM YOU!! STAY AWAY FROM SWEET HOME VACATIONS AND DO NOT EVER TRUST THEIR AGENTS!!!!!

Worst villa rented in 15 years of renting villas in Florida
Almost anything that could go wrong did. From lack of bowls,plates, pots and pans to hole in the ceiling that leaked whenever it rained,microwave that worked when it wanted,kitchen fridge leaking water causing slips and a fall. The dryer didn't work, the outside fridge was warmer than the outside air temperature at night. The house hasn't been dusted in months and the list goes on

First day we arrived we walked into a hot house. Checked everything, No pots and pans. Not enough silverware, fridge drawers broken, old and damaged furniture. No patio Furnitures. Worst place ever.

Have been renting there home over the past 5years. Due to the covid-19 this year had to cancel, an they are give me a run around about my refund. They never answer there phone and when you Email them it take days for them to email you back. After this experience I will never book with them again or recommend them.
