DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANYI placed an order months ago and received a confirmation email but nothing further. They have never sent my items and did not respond to numerous emails.I eventually lodged a dispute through my bank, and they have challenged the dispute by sending a record of the order being made! They are well aware they have taken my money but have no intention of ever fulfilling the order.Currently trying to get Consumer Affairs to take this seriously and investigate this company. In the meantime, be aware that any "order" placed through this site is simply giving away your money to a bunch of scammers.

Poor service and customer support!

Poor service and customer support is terrible. They advertise next day disptach and the item that I orderdd on Mar 9 2025 didn't arrive after more than 10 days, and no notifications. I followed up and was told my item had been packed but not disptached, which I think was a laod of ****. So I wrote and cancelled on March 18 2025. I was told they processed a refund that day and then PayPal contacted me to say it hadn't come through. Mar 25th, and two emails later, I'm still waiitng to hear from them. I'm not surprised that they don't have phone number listed on the site considering the number of complaints I've read. They certainly don't want to be easily contactable, which is bad sign in my book! Avoid!

They took my money then ghosted me

They didn’t send me shipping details, I contacted them twice through their website and once via email but received no response. Obviously I haven’t got the product I paid. I put in a query through PayPal. No response from Direct to Pet so have escalated it in the hopes of getting my money back.

Do not buy here

1 month and my product has not got to Australia Post even though I have a tracking number. I get cookie cutter responses that mean nothing a week after sending them. They wont acknowledge my refund request. I will be contacting my bank.

The worst service and product

I ordered here over a month ago and until today I’m still not able to return & get my product refunded. They send me a bunny house with no bottom, no holes to drill in, no proper explanation on how to build it up and it’s not at all what I payed for.Took them already two weeks to send the product, they send it to the wrong address at first.Now they take 1 week to reply to every email - after 4 emails now (4 weeks later), they’re telling me that they can’t refund the product because it’s not demaged.I normally don’t order online and just got reminded why.

They never gave me confirmation

They never gave me an email confirmation. I waited twelve days until I sent a rude email. they delivered next day. I would never buy from them again, they are shonky dealers

Poor communication/ poor customer service

I put in 2 orders total of over $300. As soon as the Orders were processed, I received auto emails, advised that my Orders were on the way and tracking detail will be provided shortly. Over a week, no tracking detail has been provided. I sent the online "contact us" form, still no reply 2 days after. I am concern and questioning the legitimacy of this company. Or is it just poor customer service. I hope you will improve.

spent over $120 on a cat scratcher…

spent over $120 on a cat scratcher which I ordered in January. Still has not been sent, have had one email about 3 months ago stating it was out of stock and would be sent out within 2 weeks. Never happened. I emailed them again and they said they could give me a $15 voucher but still no item I had purchased. Unlike them, I actually need that money so I will be taking it further. They've been ignoring me since I started to ask for my money back.HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!This website is just one big scam.If I could give them less than 1 star I would..

Unprofessional, deletes comments and blocks users from FB after enquiries

placed an order 2 weeks ago. Didn't get any update. Had to email them and Tim said he would check. After 1.5 weeks I still didn't hear from him, sent another email and still didn't get any response for a few days. Went to the FB page to leave a comment enquiring about the status of my order. Tim replied me within the hour of me posting on their FB page saying there was a stock delay and he will post the item out ASAP. and tried to pacify me with a $15 voucher.I responded by saying that I would like the fastest shipping instead of the $15. Still no response.Went back to FB to see if they responded to my comments only to find that they have been deleted and I have been blocked from commenting. I have 2 dogs and 5 cats and purchase from online pet stores on a regular basis. This is my first time purchasing from DTP and needless to say, I will not be purchasing from them again, and I would spread the word about this website and ensure no one has to go through the same painful experience as I did.

Have had multiple issues with this…

Have had multiple issues with this company in the space of 3 weeks.Did an order..waited a few days and recieved a dispatch notice with an item missing. I then had to chase why...out of stock pick one of these. Got that sorted was then told id recieve shipping shortly. 3 days passed and nothing, so sent a couple of emails to follow up- no response. Also sent an online form requesting information. Finally got a response. I was offered a voucher due to all the issues... which i redeemed on the 10th June. Again nothing further recieved. Sent an email 15th June. No response. Sent an email 16th June. No response. Wrote a facebook comment with a timeline of events, and noted that there were 3 other similar complaints commented. I also left a website review. About 3 hours later i recieved an email stating apologies and they have manually processed my tracking email (but when i checked it was only done late last night after i chased it). I went back to facebook and noticed ive now been blocked from commenting on the page, and the other comments with issues have been removed. They also have no review button which is usually am indicator of negative reviews previously left. I have sent an email querying it and will unlikely recieve any response. I am unsure if i will recieve my items but I have also advised afterpay of the experience. Very simple ...communication goes along way. This company has none unless you escalate the complaints or comments.
