I attended this year's Global Innovation Race, met with people from around the globe, and learned a ton. The whole program was well organized, and it is something I can definitely recommend. It was my first time working with Digital Media Academy but I love it already!
I participated in the Global Innovation Race 2023. The race was well-organized, and the project team took care of every detail, diligently following up on the activities performed by our students. They displayed a remarkable level of innovation and uniqueness in the way they engaged students with cutting-edge technology.
Dear the Academy,Thanks the Academy and Stratford Hall for your continuous support for students' path of Applications Programming & Web Development. We have registered for Harry's to attend part 2. Hopefully he can catch up with the curriculum and will apply the knowledge he has been achieving. When interviewed by us, below is his exact comments about his coding class:"After 3 months of learning Python with zero knowledge from the start, I can safely say that this class is pretty good at teaching those things. When I first started this with 4 other people, I knew nothing about Python or how it worked. I’ve heard of it before and vaguely know some information but that’s about it. Some of my friends do Python and I thought that it was very common and easy to learn. Well, I learned two things after that. Common? Yes, it is. Easy to learn. Not quite. Learning something is easy when you already have some knowledge about it. Not when you have no knowledge. Like the For loop. I did not understand how it works until very recently when the teacher explained it again. But I persisted and now, I can safely say that I know Python. At a beginner level of course, unlike my friend who wrote a script that can find people’s passwords.Additionally, the teachers did great on teaching Python and making it as simple as possible. They also gave everyone a chance to give their progress and thoughts on the lesson. Generally, they did everything the best way possible to maximize the great learning experience."We really appreciate the Academy for giving Harry a very good start. Other than that, may we suggest the Academy make a minor change so that at the end of each term, the students will have a final project where they apply all of their knowledge and make something out of Python. Such would really make the students actually use their knowledge while us parents could observe their real work. Furthermore, we suggest you help connect them with the community's peers other than their Python classmates. We happen to know there are some coding clubs or teams somewhere in British Columbia/Vancouver but it is not our area of profession; thus we are not sure how to or what level should be. We expect the Academy can guide Harry and his classmates to attend those outside clubs or teams to learn and share with each other.Other than the above, we believe the Academy did an exceptionally great job at teaching our son & his classmates the basis of Python. My twins took courses on digital media academy and they both gained skills and knowledge as a result of their training. My daughter learned about app development using thunkable and she continues to develop her own apps using thunkable and now she wants to take more courses, the course ignited her passion and interest. My son took an online course about game development using unity and he is interested more than ever, he spends a good amount of time to learn more about it and that's what he talks about now. The instructors were really helpful and understanding. Thank you to the trainers we highly recommend Digital Media academy.
Excellent learning experience for children. They learnt new skills and thoroughly enjoyed the sessions
The Minecraft Java class was perfect for my son. It's definitely not for beginners though. I was very surprised in how much my son already knew about coding. The group assignment should have been started earlier in the week so there was more time to brainstorm and complete it instead of the last day of class. But other than that, my son really enjoyed it.
The course is great according to my children, however; the registration and subsequent emails prior to beginning was very disorganized in our experience.
My son absolutely loved this course!
It’s good and with a lot of details to learn step by step. The class is sooo short only for about like two months and then it’s over😭 and it’s really expensive😭😭
Is was interesting for he’s tanks
I applied for and received two scholarships at Spring Break for my two sons. I registered them and received confirmation of their registration. I never heard from DMA again, despite numerous emails requesting information on the courses I had registered them in. I had booked that time off over spring break for them and nothing!
My daughter took a class on digital drawing. Her instructor was professional, patient, and encouraging of her art and abilities. This course was five stars in all ways. It was nice that she could attend and not have to worry about getting her there. She did learn much from the experience
The program was incredibly helpful. I loved how interactive it was, big shout out my instructor. He made the class as fun and entertaining. It gave me an insight into what really made up a business. If I was given the opportunity I would definitely do it again.

Excellent course, small ratio of students to teacher and the teacher was knowledgeable and my child learned a lot and loved the course…she would love to take another one which is rare for her
My son enrolled in a couple of DMA programs so far and it helps him a lot in developing his computer / coding skills. The instructors are knowledgeable and very patient to the students. Thumbs up to the entire organization!!!
They helped me a lot, answered all my questions and were very polite.

Digital Media has a wide cross section of relevant skills training that are geared to meet the needs of our youthful generation. This gives the individual who engages in such training the edge in future and current classes, however, because of the tuition, a large group of young people may be excluded from such valuable opportunities.
