Expensive mistake to order from this company and nothing but headaches and problems

We purchased a Della Home mini split system in September 2023, expecting reliability and peace of mind based on their advertised lifetime parts warranty. Instead, this has turned into an ongoing and extremely expensive nightmare.By November 2023 — barely two months after installation — the system was already failing. We had to pay out of pocket for a technician to diagnose the issue, then pay again for labor to install replacement parts that Della sent.In November 2024, the unit failed again. Once again, we paid for diagnostic service, and Della determined the compressor had failed and shipped a replacement. We then paid yet again for installation labor.Ironically, during that same time period in November 2024, Della Home actually paid me to write a review of their product. At that point, I believed the company was at least attempting to stand behind their system, despite the repeated failures. Looking back, being offered payment for a review should have been a major red flag.I still have the email from Della offering compensation in exchange for posting a review, and it now makes me seriously question how many of the positive reviews on their website are incentivized rather than genuine customer experiences.Now, just over a year later, the replacement compressor has failed AGAIN.Della Home is refusing to honor their supposed lifetime parts warranty, claiming the unit was not registered according to their exact internal protocol — despite the fact that: • Their representatives previously spoke directly with our HVAC technician • They verified system information and error codes before approving prior replacement parts • They shipped warranty parts multiple times without ever raising registration concerns • At no point during repeated service issues did anyone inform us the warranty was invalid or improperly registeredOur original installing technician has since passed away, and Della is now using this technicality to deny coverage entirely.This feels less like customer service and more like a loophole designed to avoid honoring warranties after customers have already invested thousands in installation and repair labor.We have now paid repeatedly for installation, diagnostics, and compressor replacements on a system that has failed multiple times in less than two years.A heating and cooling system should not fail this often — and a company that truly stands behind its product should not abandon customers over paperwork they never once flagged despite multiple warranty interactions.Unreliable product. Misleading warranty promises. Extremely disappointing experience.I strongly recommend choosing another manufacturer.

I want to recognize Fernando Vasquez from Della Support for truly saving the day. Before doing so, I’d like to provide some context.I previously purchased no name mini split systems from eBay, and in just over a year they began to fail. Determined not to repeat that mistake, I thoroughly researched mini split manufacturers with strong reviews for both hardware quality and customer support. During my research, I came across Della.Fast forward to 2025: I purchased three Della units, all of which worked perfectly. However, during a recent cold spell here in Florida, one of the units failed to produce heat. It took a bit of navigating through Della’s support channels, but I eventually connected with Fernando.He took the time to listen carefully and acknowledge all the troubleshooting steps I had already taken to confirm the unit was defective. After reviewing everything, he fully covered the unit—something I am extremely grateful for.I chose Della specifically for the assurance of quality support if I ever needed it, and that turned out to be the best decision I could have made.Thank you, Fernando, for your exceptional help.

There was an issue with our original order and shipping zip code on…

There was an issue with the original order where the accounting department canceled the order.Joey was able to resolve the pricing issue quickly and was so join ensuring the second order was processed!Additionally the was an incorrect zip code on our order and it was being shipped far from our house. Lizzie went above and beyond to quickly update the correct address with the shipper and get the shipment back on trackA great customer service experience by all!

I ordered two mini split units from Della. They were shipped and delivered within 5 days. Packaging was very sturdy and all parts were there. I had a few questions and Elizabeth in customer service was very helpful and answered my questions. Would definitely recommend Della!

Everything was fantastic

Everything was fantastic. The rental of the equipment was perfect all the equipment that the average diy person would not have, and it made the install go without a hitch. The unit itself was so quiet you could hardly hear it.

Della makes ordering easy and support even easier

Placed my order for the DELLA Vario Series 45000 BTU Dual Zone Mini Split AC via Della's site. The site had all the information I needed. I did have a follow-up question after placing my order and I used the chat feature which also gave me the option to call their support team. I loved that it was a direct call to a live person and not an automated system that required me to navigate a bunch of prompts. Kudos to Della for an easy buying experience and an easier support call!

Della customer service was amazing

Della customer service was amazing. They sent me a defective unit, but was very accommodating in wanting to make things right and send a replacement. Krystal, from their customer service team was really amazing to work with. She handled everything so quickly and was very patient, and handled everything very promptly. She made the experience 100% pain free. I would purchase from Della again and reccomend the company highly

Piece of junk and don't stand behind thier products.

Purchased a 12000btu heat/air mini split 5 years ago. Replaced half the installation parts because they were cheap and not the correct size. Have had unit services 5x in 5 years. Just found another leak in the outside coil. Contacted company and waited on hold for over an hour to be told it's a discontinued unit and they don't have parts for it in their warehouse. No suggestions even where I could even find and buy parts. Also was told only a 1 year warranty on all their products. When I had problems with it originally I was told to uninstall it and ship it back at my cost. Even outside condensors coils. Another cheap Chinese knockoff amazon product that doesn't even last a year. I'm over $2000 in with the unit, installation and service calls and now I have to throw it away and buy a new one because the company sucks.

The DELLA Serena Series 24K has been a great upgrade. It cools fast, heats just as well, and the operation is surprisingly quiet for a 24,000 BTU unit. The unit feels well-built and performs exactly as advertised. Highly recommend.
