I am very happy with the Dachman 67 mic I purchased. There was a bit of turnaround time from when I placed the order but it was well worth the wait. Dachman Audio offers tons of value for the price they charge and the bottom line is that their mics sound great and are built with care and attention to detail. Recommended!

First of all, these mics are incredible. The DA67 is hands down the best I've ever heard. DA support is excellent; I forgot to add a discount code to my order, but they honored it anyway. That's GREAT support!
I really like this mic a lot. Very 67 and the NOS Telefunken tube really shines warmly. 3D sound and mid-forward in all the right ways. Perfect for vocals and acoustic instruments which is my focus. The highs shimmer and are never harsh. I really appreciate you making this type of quality legacy microphone at such a reasonable price. If you ever make a 47 tube, I’d probably bite. Thanks. Jeff
These mics are great for vocal, acoustic guitar, piano, and drum tracks... backup room ambient mics as well... Very characteristic of vintage Neumann U87i sound...

Love the DA67 tube mic. Just don’t like that it took nearly 3 months to get it and communication was basically one sided. I would have appreciated something from Dachman once in a while

The mic arrived quickly and is clear that a lot of attention to detail goes into the product (DA87i).I purchased it as a narration mic for my Youtube channel as well as an option for home studio recordings.It has not disappointed.
I first found out about the Dachman DA87i through a YouTube video review where it was put through it’s paces, and I was immediately impressed! I looked at many other mics and listened to many audio samples over the last year or so, and the Dachman was always at the top of my mind especially for the price, it just has that special ‘something’So I decided to pull the trigger and it was shipped in 3 working days to Melbourne Australia!, that is insanely fast!A BIG thanks to Josh for his incredible customer service in addressing a problem I had, the mic had minor superficial damage but works perfectly; still looks good and sounds great!. We contacted Dachman and Josh responded offering me a few options, one of which was he would send me a DA87se for free and I could still keep the DA87i as well!, an offer I couldn't say no to! - what an amazingly generous gesture from Josh to make things right!NOTE: I recently received the DA87se in Vintage cream which looks and sounds fantastic!Now, I can’t compare an original U87i to the DA87i as I have never used one, but based on it’s own merits and for my voice-over use case from my well treated home made booth - it’s brilliant!. It has that mid-forward push, well represented lows but not exaggerated and controlled smooth highs that tame sibilance, a well balanced warm clear and full bodied sound with a splash of saturation absolutely perfect for voice over applications and sounds close to finished right out of the gate with minimal eq needed, although it does handle eq very well – one of the marks of a high quality microphone.If you’re in the market for a mic in this price range, this simply has to be a serious consideration, the value definitely favors the buyer and with Josh taking care of you, there’s honestly nothing to lose!

The mic is Amazing!! and so are the people there. They have always responded timely and pleasantly. When I needed a shockmount, they communicated when it would be available again and when I wanted to order my second 87 because of my delight from the first, they hooked me up with another credit towards it. Quality people and a quality product. I can't speak for the comparison because I only have a little experience with the Neumann but the sound is amazing on my recordings with this mic and very little tweaking needed for it to sound PRO.
