Always a great experience
If you are struggling with your curly hair - dried out or needing your color corrected or needing a great cut which will last you for many months, Valdeh is your guy. He has his own curls so he knows the struggles we have dealt with all our lives. He takes the time to understand your lifestyle and your routine and makes sure that you will be successful at home. I am truly glad that I found him, and so is my hair.

Long-lasting Curls
Valdeh listened to my concerns and took great care in bringing my curls back to life. In addition to the cut, he's shared many tips for at-home styling. I pick up something new at each visit. The best part is that my cuts last much longer (3 months vs. 6 weeks)...a big bonus as I want longer hair.

Disappointing experience
I came in very excited for an evaluation to discuss my hair. Very responsive via text prior to the visit. I prepared myself (as asked in the texts) by collecting photos of myself with prior hairstyles, as well as photos for inspiration of what style I was looking for currently. The consultation started well, but by the end, I was pretty turned off for several reasons. There were several topics discussed that had nothing to do with my hair or expectations, ie, other ventures, girlfriend and her health issues and charity, multiple mentions that you don’t do extensions, etc. There was also an obvious attempt to upsell me on additional products and services during the consult for a keratin treatment that could “only be found in salons. I actually found the exact same treatment at Sephora. At the end of the consult, you made sure to tell me that we went over on time, but you “weren’t going to charge me.” I found that to be a ridiculous statement because we ran over due to you random stories and inserts that weren’t pertinent to the consult. I left and still had no idea what my expectations for my hair should be, and you never once asked what I wanted from a style standpoint. You never asked to see the pictures I had prepared with what I was hoping you could tell me if it was possible. I did call the manager to discuss, and she was kind enough to call me back and I was told you would call me to address my concerns, but I never received the follow up call. Very disappointing overall.

Found Curl Revolution and Valdeh years ago after getting another bad haircut and haven’t gone elsewhere since! He truly is a curly expert. He takes his time and has such attention to detail I couldn’t ask for more. I’ve never left dissatisfied with my hair and also never had anyone who can style it curly better than me. If you have any doubts just go see him!

Expert curly hair stylist near Frisco, TX
I have been a client of Valdeh's for nearly 15 years. He has always done an excellent job cutting and styling my hair. I am able to go 4-6 months between haircuts because of his high-quality cuts. Definitely a plus for a busy mom who doesn't have time to go to the salon every month.
