My experience with this company was a TOTAL NIGHTMARE
My experience with this company was a time consuming and maddening month of missed deadlines, outright lies, and deceptive practices.When one representative claimed that he had read my entire book, I asked him to explain one of the most central plot points (not an obscure detail) and he had no idea what I was talking about. His supervisor later admitted that the representative had simply lied to me.I was sent a deck of potential social media posts. Two of them were so generic that they could fit any book. The others all contained incorrect information about my book. It was clear no one had read it.One representative claimed he owned that THE company and that there was no supervisor I could speak to except God. He mocked me.Finally, I received a call from someone who seemed to be sincere and, like EVERY one of the other five employees I had talked to, missed his deadline.The only positive thing I can say is that they did give me a refund after a month of wasting my time.

My experience with Crescent Hill Publishers turned out great overall, and a lot of that is thanks to Sandy. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and transparent through every step of the process. Any time I had a question or concern, she made sure I understood what was happening and always followed through. Sandy is definitely the kind of person who makes a company shine.The only downside was the beginning of the process. The initial salesman, Ryan, promised a few things that unfortunately weren’t actually included in the contract. It caused some confusion at first, but once Sandy stepped in, everything became smooth, clear, and professional. She helped straighten out the details and made sure I received exactly what I paid for.Crescent Hill Publishers is doing well when it comes to communication, support, and genuinely caring about the authors they work with. As long as you make sure to get everything in writing from the start, the team—especially Sandy—will take good care of you.I’d still recommend them, mainly because of how well the situation was handled and how committed they were to ensuring a positive experience in the end.

I have had an absolutely amazing experience with Crescent Hill Publishers. Fiona Blake has been one of my project managers and she has been fabulous. She is very kind, attentive and intuitive about her work. Garrett and the rest of the Team have been fantastic as well. They are very creative and incredible in their communication and work ethic. Additionally, they are very kind people!We are still in production, but I can't wait to write my next review once we have finished my books and have begun the marketing piece that I am collaborating on with them as well. I would give Fiona 4.7 stars. She is a personable, pleasant person to work with. I have enjoyed my conversations with her. Furthermore, I have been pleased with the editing, proofreading, and formatting which has be done on my first book.My only complaint is that I am not kept as well-informed as I would like to be about what and when things are going to happen. It seems the full capabilities of the basecamp app are not used to the extent they could be.Overall, to this point I am still quite happy that I chose Cresent Hill to help me improve my first book and ready it for publication and am looking forward to working on my second book and to seeing how Crescent Hill will promote my series of two books.
