Uriel does a great job making the classes fun. Even though learning a language can be difficult, Uriel structures his class in such a way that you feel excited to go to the next lesson. I have used many Spanish tutor,s and Uriel is the only one that I stuck with.
These practice sessions along with my classes from Uriel are a great combination to learn by. I am truly enjoying learning Spanish...finally.
Uriel was our guide for our family trip to Mexico City for 3 days. Uriel was organized, knowledgeable, patient, and funny too! We visited Xochimilco, Teotihuacan, Coyoacan, and more during the 3 days. We had lots of opportunities to practice speaking Spanish. We all had a great time and hope to return again! Gracias Uriel!
My wife and I recently visited Mexico City and we took two different excursions with Uriel. One trip was to Teotihuacan and the other was to Xochimilco/Coyocan. This was her first visit to CDMX and these two days were highlights of our trip. Uriel went out of his way to ensure we had great experiences. He and I talked in Spanish and he talked with my wife in English. I highly recommend any of his excursions when visiting Mexico City.

For about a month now, I have been attending biweekly meetings with Uriel in order to improve my Spanish. I came in already knowing the basics but I have been wanting to go beyond that for years. Thankfully I stumbled upon this language school which teaches real Mexican-rooted Spanish with a good mixture of formal and informal language. In addition, he speaks slowly and clearly. Highly recommend!
Really enjoying my lessons with Uriel. He has you speaking Spanish from the first lesson. I know I will be able to speak Spanish independently this year! Uriel is patient, kind and funny. He explains lessons thoroughly and does not hesitate to clarify and review when you need it! Highly recommend! What a wonderful to gain confidence in a new language!
I purchased an excursion package to Tepoztlán with Uriel and it was an unforgettable experience! Uriel is funny, respectful, patient, and a great teacher overall. When he picked me up in the morning, he asked me to only speak in Spanish which really gave me a boost of confidence to practice what I'd learned in class. The day trip was incredible; Tepoztlán is a beautiful mountainside town just outside of Mexico City. We got breakfast at a food market there and, with Uriel's help, I was able to order my sope and all the toppings I wanted in Spanish. Afterwards, we hiked up the hills to a beautiful Aztec pyramid, all the while talking about food, culture, and life in Mexico, all in Spanish! Uriel made me feel comfortable enough to not shy away from making mistakes (all of which he gently and patiently corrected); and he even taught me some fun Mexican slang! If you're going to visit Mexico City, I highly recommend buying an excursion package from ChidoLingo. No class or book beats learning Spanish through immersion accompanied by a great teacher like Uriel.
THE BEST! I have been working with Uriel to learn Spanish and it has been such a fantastic experience. Uriel has guided me from the tiny bits I recalled from high school over 30 years ago to being able to hold conversations and discuss just about anything. His style is encouraging and friendly, and totally individualized to your learning pace and style. He is patient and funny and so supportive. I HIGHLY recommend Uriel and all the teachers at Chidolingo for a fun, rewarding way to learn Spanish!
I’ve had a great experience with the teachers at this school. Each of them bring something different to the table which is great that I can switch up and learn different things from each of them. Also the learning tools are a great asset and have been very beneficial and helping me learn. I would highly recommend signing up today and I would suggest switching up teachers from time to time as well to keep a fresh approach to learning!
I have found Uriel to be an excellent teacher. He has a great way of explaining things so that they are easy to grasp. He has helped me to quickly understand things that I have been struggling with for months. The Dutongui site is absolutely awesome! The structure of examples and exercises makes learning fun and easy. I highly recommend Uriel and Dutongui to anyone wanting to learn Spanish
Uriel is a very patient and friendly professor. He is very welcoming to all levels of students and really wants them to succeed in their goals of learning Spanish. He will take the time to answer and explain every question you have. Every lesson is fun, as well as funny, and interesting in that you learn something new about the life and culture of Mexíco. You will not regret having Uriel as a teacher!!!
Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? At 53 I decided to really learn Spanish so I can talk with the staff at the resorts we visit in Mexico and Dominican Republic. Using apps to self-teach was not working for me so I searched the web for a tutor. I landed on Dutongui and I am so happy I did. Uriel is a wonderful teacher. My vocabulary, pronunciation and listening skills have improved in the last two months and I'm starting to learn more complex moods and tenses. I look forward to my lessons and find myself wanting to do homework and practice every day. Gracias Uriel por despertar la alegría de aprender.
I have been taking Spanish lessons with Uriel and he has been great! He is super patient and helpful, focusing on relevant concepts for my work and has been accommodating with my changing schedule. Would highly recommend.
Jacobo is patient, yet exacting. He takes the time to go over material until he is satisfied that the students have mastered the material. He is receptive to student’s requests for concentration in certain areas, whether pronunciation, reading, grammar, etc. He provides course material after each class so students can review it at their convenience.

Uriel immediately makes you feel comfortable - willing to give you a chance to stumble but there to help explain & give advice on how to start speaking real Spanish! A great conversation partner who helps bring the conversation to your level, giving you helpful advice on grammar & sentence structure along the way. Would highly recommend!
Uriel is a confident, fun, and interesting teacher. He always makes me feel comfortable, and each class I have with him I leave feeling more confident with my Spanish. Out of the different Spanish teachers I have tried, he is my favourite. Highly recommend.
