I ordered an outfit last minute for my brother's wedding as pernia screwed up the original order. carma delivered the outfit right in time and saved the day.Preeti patel

If I could give 0/5 I would. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Ordered an outfit worth £450 in June and despite sending numerous emails still not received. They have stopped responding to emails and WhatsApp unless I start a new customer conversation and then they stop responding as soon as I state my issue. I don’t expect to see the outfit as it’s been so long. Unprofessional, untrustworthy, unresponsive and thieves!

WORSE WORSE WORSE I had worse experience shopping with Carma. I ordered an outfit and mentioned the required date that I need this outfit which they promised me to. Initially I had given them a need date to ship to India, which they couldn't meet so I requested them to send to USA and gave me the need date which was July 24th. I was trying to contact them on Whatsapp, Instagram, Email since July 13th to check the status of my order and no one would respond to me. I need this outfit on July 24th for an event. On Carma website online chat they wouldn't respond if I sent it with my name and details but would respond if I contact them as a new customer. This was so frustrating to me and when I contacted them as new customer, I told them it was me and then there comes another person who gives me her personal number to whatsapp. I told her on 24th July that I do not need the outfit as I did not get in time for the event and I had to buy another outfit in USA to cover for the event. Not to mention I clearly requested for custom measurements and provided them with and told which measurements are important. Now the new person says on July 24th that the outfit is already shipped and that she cannot take it back, also its custom made and when I ask for tracking number they wouldn't provide me. On July 26th I got an email from DHL saying that my order is picked up. So they were clearly lying to me on July 24th that the order is shipped and they couldn't provide me refund. I keep on telling that I do not need that outfit anymore and to take it back and refund me, but they wouldn't respond at all. On July 28th I received my outfit and guess what it is not custom made after all. I checked with the designer and they told me that those are pretty standard measurements and not custom made. Since July 13th I am going back and forth with these people with no response. They have terrible customer service, lack of professionalism, irresponsive, don't care about customer satisfaction. I have shopped online on many platforms and never had such bad experience that I have with CARMA. I would say everyone to stay away from them. This is my very first time writing a review and I feel terrible writing my first review for a bad experience instead of writing to appreciate a good service. But I hope my review helps someone out there. BEWARE of these people.

Run the other way

I had a terrible experience with Carma. My BROTHER’S wedding was coming up and I needed a outfit for the wedding day. I had used Ogaan (the website) for his sangeet (Punit Balana) and reception (Seema Gujral). I gave both websites and three designers the EXACT same measurements because I’m not going to sabotage myself when I only had a limited time to get clothes. That being said, I was messaging a carma stylist- named Rashmi. She was very kind and reassured me that whatever I am ordering will be made in the color that I am requesting and will arrive in time for the wedding. The color was very significant because my sister in law asked that I not wear any form of maroon or red. Fast forward to the clothes arriving. The color was maroon. The blouse wouldn’t even wrap around my 6 year old nephew. I am a rather busty and bigger woman, and I INFORMED Rashmi this. I told her I needed a conservative blouse because I would not feel comfortable with anything too short or whatever. I contacted Carma through multiple mediums- I contacted Rashmi through multiple mediums (WhatsApp, email, call, etc.) and I got silence. Imagine me now, panicking because I now have nothing I can wear for my brother’s wedding DAY! Insane. Not a single carma rep contacted me to help me with my issue. NOTHING. I have all of the correspondences saved and you can see it’s radio silent. They didn’t believe that the color was wrong until I sent them a picture and they remained silent. Spending $900 on something I didn’t want nor ask for is just pathetic. I offered to ship back the clothes provided they give me a return label of sorts. But they didn’t. Again, no communication. It’s been 2 months since my brother has been married and I can tell that’s 3 months I haven’t heard back from Carma. Save yourself the hassle and go to Ogaan instead. Swift customer service, quality assurance and truly no hassle at all.

Received my parcel from Carma today, was surprisingly delighted to see such supreme service, quality and promptness from india. The clothes are beautiful and fit perfectly. Highly recommend.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR NEHA KHULLAR DESIGNER ONLY) WORST DESIGNER TO ORDER FROMThe prices are cheap because the actual product is very cheap. I paid extra to get a custom size and design but their tailors couldnt even do that and it got shipped after months with the size being way too small. I paid extra 2500INR to send back and get fixed but it got lost in the mail and now they are asking me to pay EXTRA for their ORIGINAL MISTAKE. I won’t pay any more as it’s quite cheap anyway and not worth it. If it was a quality designer, they wouldn’t make these kind of mistakes to start off with. Wasted my money.Cheap material which reflects their pricing. Don’t recommend at all unless you want to be ripped off. Should not be on this website with other quality top designers. Please consider removing them.

Amazing service, highly recommended

I saw a Seema Gujral saree which was not available on Carma site contacted their customer service they promptly reverted and had it arranged for me. They co-ordinated the measurements via video call had all the customisations done and voila i looked perfect for my function. It was a seamless and hassle free service.

I had a wedding to attend and needed a lehenga delivered to me in 2 weeks the Carma team had the order expedited for me and i received it well within time and the quality was better than what i saw in the photo while ordering. Thank You. Totally recommend them

Do not order anything from this site

Do not order anything from this site! They do not deliver your item on time and are unresponsive to your emails and inquiries. Terrible service! I ordered a Sabyasachi Signature Belt in November and am still waiting for the product. I cannot believe that an esteemed brand like Sabyasachi deals with a company like this. I spent over $300 CAD for this item and don’t believe I will ever receive it. Worst company to deal with.Pooja Gandhi, Canada

Sabyasachi purchase

Sabyasachi purchase: I ordered a belt from Carma. I ordered a 28 and it came as a a size 23. I was told to send it back and pay for my own shipping there and for the exchange back to me - I found this ridiculous as the error was company made not mine. I spoke with Shrishti and she insisted this is company policy (from a customer service standpoint, company error shouldn’t be paid by the customer). Anyways, sent it back from Canada and paid $40 (belt was $240 Canadian), they claimed they never received my return. I received notice from Canada Post it was delivered. I have contacted customer care numerous times and they have no resolution for me. I had asked for store credit, replacement belt and money back, they did nothing. I am so utterly disappointed with this company and it’s a shame that Sabyasachi allows them to carry their products. Such a prestigious name behind thieves of a company.

Ordered lehengas and suits from Carma…

Ordered lehengas and suits from Carma online for my wedding. My experience was really bad and Carma employees are extremely unprofessional. Just before 5 days of wedding they informed us that lehenga cannot be made because of measurement issues and when asked for the refund they said we will refund within 15 days and now its been over a month and we are still waiting. Carma do not contact us and they have stopped responding us. In addition, they have sent wrong dupatta for another lehenga and when we asked to replace it, no on would give us any updates. We are really regretting our purchase with them. They also delayed our delivery even after strict guidelines that we would need them on that specific date. Carma is extremely unprofessional. Once you pay them money they don't care about you.

I ordered a lehenga choli from them on…

I ordered a lehenga choli from them on Feb 16th and was contacted via Whatsapp to say it was no longer available and if I wanted a different one. I responded immediately saying no and requesting they refund my money. Still no response or refund. Have tried to contact them via email, WhatsApp and got through on their online chat where they said they would follow up, and again no response or refund.

Don’t care about checking if order is being processed after they have the payment in hand

I ordered a lehenga choli from the Carmaonline shop on 26th January. End of February, I contacted them again and received no reply. Contacted them again 3rd March. Responded on 4th March saying that manufacturer overlooked the order. I cancelled the order only to be told my refund would only reflect in 7 to 10 working days- they received my payment immediately. Passing the buck to the manufacturer is quite insufficient, where is Carmaonline follow-up procedure? Their products are more expensive than other reputable sites but there’s no service to speak of. This outfit was meant to be worn to a wedding. Disappointed and will never order from them again.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Bought an outfit for an event and after 5weeks I had no dispatch email so after contacting carma on various different platforms and pressurising them to find out what happened to my order, I was eventually informed that they could not provide me with the garment. I have less than a week to my event and even had to beg for a fast refund. I was informed I would be refunded this morning that didn't happen so i used paypal to resolve. They informed me that now I will have to contact paypal and start a dispute to get my funds. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional company. Will not use again or recommend them to others. Please consider this when purchasing.
