This is a scammer running the operation . They are colleting credit card information and billing them monthlu charges of USD 29 while claiming the report is only USD 1 When I asked for refund they are delaying and asking for stupid info that they already have in the system.Someone find this person and put this guy behind bars.

I would rate this service as 0.I reported that I didnt receive any report, and amount charged by credit card from CARHYSTORYLOOKUP.COM SCOTTSDALE US. That is written on receipt received by SMS, amount of 31,05 euros was charged by credit card. And again they try to charge 25.72 euros on the same way on 12.12. 2025.I contacted support but there is no any answer.Where to report this on line scam? I didnt get any useful information.Be aware of this site.

They offer people a dollar for a full report of your VIN, and charge you another 29,** dollar for a hidden monthly subscription. This company is run by scammers, so be careful.

Big fraudI tried to pay they shown 1 usd they charged 35 usd and when i ask refund they said billing team will follow up by email not received any email for refund

This company is a scam and does fraudulent transactions
This company is a scam. They conduct fraudulent activities. I wanted a report for 1 dollar, upon paying for it, another amount of 30 dollars when off my account. I queried the 30 dollars payment immediately and was told it was a subscription fee. I indicated I never subscribed to anything so can they cancel it. They promised to cancel it and refund my money. Now it’s been over a month of me following up for my refund. They ignored my emails from the 19 September 2025 until now that they are telling me they won’t refund. Their website clearly states refunds are guaranteed. I have never made use their subscription but they are refusing to refund my money. My money was deducted Fraudulent therefore I want my refund.

A SCAM!! NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD FALL FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS
I did the "$1" lookup and ended up paying $29.95 per fortnight for 3 times. This was = $1.55 and $46 * 3 in Australian dollars. I was NOR asked to subscribe and given NO warning of ongoing costs. I have needed to cancel my card.

Hidden subscription scam
Hidden subscription scam — reported to registrar/host. As so many other, I bought a $1 VIN report and was secretly enrolled in a $29.95/month subscription. After promising a refund, they only sent me $1 and stopped replying. I’ve filed a chargeback with my bank and reported the site to GoDaddy (registrar) and SiteGround (hosting). This has to stop!

Scam WarningI purchased a VIN check advertised as a $1 USD one-time payment, but have since been charged $29.95 USD monthly without my consent.There is an option to cancel, but it requires logging into an account — which I never created. I was never informed that I was subscribing to an ongoing service.I’ve had to file a dispute with my bank to stop the unauthorised charges. Based on this pattern of behaviour, this merchant appears to be operating dishonestly and I would recommend staying away.
