SCAM, DO NOT BOOK!!
Don't book nothing with camelotels on booking, airbnb or any other page, or if you see host name Jonas. They are scammed, they will scam you, they present apartments better what they actually are, on pictures everything looks nice but when you arrive to one of the apartments it's a disaster, no heating or cooling, bads are in super bad condition, sheets are full of steins, bathroom is full of mold and smells like that, apartments and bathrooms are super bad cleaned, we found pubic hair of someone, so is questionable did they even clean, so imagine if you finde restroom like that, imagen how are the sheets, probably they are not even washed. And then when you want your money back because apartment is not cleaned and it's not like they presented on pictures they refuse to give you your money back. And they will waste your time, pretend like they are trying to help you and fix the problem, but they won't do nothing about, because they are aware of the problem, so for them is best to not give you your money back or just give you some and scam you for the rest.

I made a reservation through Expedia…
I made a reservation through Expedia and Vrbo with free cancellation until the end of the month. The host is refusing to accept my request to cancel and I’m wasting hours of my life dealing with this. The host keeps on saying “cancel it on your end”, yea I tried but you don’t allow me to? Wasn’t shocked to see all the terrible reviews, scammer behavior.

A SCAM!!
A SCAM!!! A-V-O-I-D!!!!!Just another case of some lads trying to scam people with a dogshit apartment. There is no ”Erik Steinbauer” (its an AI-picture) and no clean apartment. Instead, its Mohammed (is he a real person either?) and a moldy sh*thole.

Filthy, stinking, dangerous - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
The apartment was filthy and nowhere near clean. There was grime everywhere, mold on the walls, and spiders in the corners and dirty towels lying around on the floor. The entire place smelled heavily of smoke and marijuana. It looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com.This was not just dirty — it was uninhabitable. We had to leave immediately since the kids refused to stay there and so did we and find another place to stay. Absolutely not suitable to be listed on any platform or be rented out. Avoid this listing at all cost

room in a shared bathroom close to Schönbrunn
Booked a room in a shared bathroom and kitchen apartment for one night near Wilhelmstrasse via airbnb and, when we arrived, the place was under construction. No notification from the hosts and, upon sending pictures of the state of the apartment, they just said "we're sorry but we can't accommodate you" and urged us to cancel the reservation promising we'll get the money back, which never happened.

Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs. The rooms are absolutely disgusting—filthy, clearly neglected, and in terrible condition overall and we even had mold on the wall. They haven’t been cleaned properly, and the place is a complete dump. No matter how cheap the price looks or where the listing is, do not book with this company. You’ll regret it. This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

Filthy, stinking, dangerous, drug den.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!Up until the morning of check in I had not received the address or any check in details and nobody would respond to me. Booked through VRBO, I went onto airbnb to look for alternative accommodation and found the apartment advertised, so contacted them on there pretending I wanted to book it, after 1hr of pushing I received the details. When I arrived at the apartment I went in through the first entrance, there was rubbish, empty wine bottles and dead rats, and stench. I went to the stairs to the apartment, there were people gathered smoking and a young girl sat on the stairs physically being injected with heroin by another woman. The room stank, it was absolutely filthy, excrement on the bathroom walls, dirty floors, mould in the shower, unidentifiable smears by the bed on the walls, I had to leave and find alternative accommodation, it was absolute filth and unsafe to stay in. I had 1 day in Vienna and didn't get to start enjoying it until 4pm, the property owners have refused a refund and now blocked me. Rude, unprofessional, worst travel experience I've ever ever had.

Dirt and filth
We booked one of their apartments in Vienna through AirBnB for one night. We just needed some simple place to stay at as we were travelling elsewhere. Didn't check the reviews and just booked it. Later on we checked reviews on tripadvisor and on the Hosts profile which scared us honestly. I confronted them with the reviews and that we dont feel safe staying in their apartment. They assured us that everything will be fine and they fixed everything and there will be no problems whatsoever. We arrived to the flat. The corridors of the flat filled with mold and smelled disgusting. So much dirt and ruined walls. Then we went through a door which leads to the rooms. That part was clean at least. Upon arriving to the room, it was super dirty. The walls had handprints on them, the chairs were dirty, the floors were dirty, blood stain??? on the floor? The kitchen and the area under the bed has never been cleaned i think. The mattress was bad, the sheets had white stains that we did not even want to identify. Toilet was dirty, windows didnt work. Thank god we only stayed for one night. Let me tell you they did not "fix everything" still a filthy cashgrab business. Find something better. We did not sleep even a second through the night. They asked us for a 5* review after all of that. Nope. I also think that they re-post bookings with bad reviews. As the one we booked disappeared from AirBnB and worked on a different link.

The worst experience ever!!! DO NOT BOOK IT
The worst experience ever!!!We came in the building, the door was open- why? Because the lock was smashed- probably by the angry customer like me!!But ok, I thought, it happens. The lock of our apartment was also smashed, I took a picture so they don’t accuse me of that.In the morning, it all started. We didn’t have hot water, we didn’t have heating in the Winter, in Vienna, in February. Outside was 2degrees, inside was 15, probably. They called the “handyman” guy who came at 1AM- yes, AM, smelling like he was drinking and in the bar. He was on the phone- not fixing the Heater for one hour, he didn’t fix it and he left.Still in the morning we didn’t have hot water. They wrote us they are going to return us the money- IT DIDN’t happen!! They were just apologizing all the time but no ACTION NEEDED. Thank god we were leaving, but be careful, they are on Airbnb and if you see Karin, Yasir, Raju Rock, Muhammad- DO NOT BOOK it.

Need to know
Warning: This is a long review, but future guests must read it to set realistic expectations.I want to start with this: check-in was never smooth. The entry process involved an electronic lock handle, which turned out to be a major hassle. Here’s how it went:We arrived at the property on December 21 at 3:47 PM and followed the instructions to enter using the code provided. However, the code didn’t work. I immediately contacted the WhatsApp number given in the guide, but the message didn’t go through. Attempts to use the Airbnb messaging system also failed, as the host didn’t respond promptly.Desperate for assistance, I went downstairs to find someone who could help. To my surprise, I met other guests experiencing the exact same issue. When I asked if they had the same host, they showed me a completely different contact number than the one I had. They mentioned that their host was also slow to reply. After struggling and waiting outside in the cold for nearly an hour, I finally called Airbnb support for help. At 4:34 PM, the host finally responded, providing instructions to open the key box outside the apartment.Once we got inside, I immediately noticed that the apartment didn’t match the photos on Airbnb. The sofa beds were in different places—likely left that way by the previous guests—and it seemed the cleaning team didn’t bother to reset the furniture. While this wasn’t a big deal to me, it was the first indication of subpar upkeep.Missing Essentials and Poor AmenitiesAs I explored the apartment, I found several disappointments: • Towels and toiletries: They only provided 2 towels and 2 rolls of tissue paper for a 4-day, 3-night stay. • Basic kitchen essentials: There was no salt, pepper, oil, coffee, sugar, or bottled water. When I inquired about these, the host responded without empathy, simply stating that they don’t provide such items—even slippers for indoor use. • Dusty furniture: The furniture was so dusty you could write your name on it. • Dirty kitchen: Under the kitchen stove, I found a hairball and a detergent scoop, clear signs that the area wasn’t cleaned properly. • Bathroom issues: • The toilet and bathroom were separate, but the toilet lacked any water source or bidet, which made it inconvenient. • The bathtub had a half curtain, which caused water to spill onto the floor—a slipping hazard. • Dangerous stairs: The apartment was on the first floor, with no elevator. Carrying luggage upstairs was difficult, especially because there were no lights on the stairs leading to the first floor, making it unsafe.Heater MalfunctionOn December 24, we woke up early to prepare for our next trip to Switzerland. Unfortunately, the heater wasn’t working, so we had no hot water. We were forced to leave without taking showers, feeling cold and unclean. Ironically, after I reported this issue following our departure, the host finally apologized and showed some empathy—but by then, it was far too late.Lack of Customer FocusTo top it off, the host sent a message asking for a 5-star review, claiming anything below that would hurt their business and urging me to address any complaints privately. This felt inappropriate, considering the poor service and all the inconveniences we faced.Missing Items That Should Be Provided: • Shampoo, body soap, toothbrushes • Indoor slippers • Salt, pepper, oil, sugar, and bottled water • Sufficient tissue paper and garbage bagsFinal ThoughtsFrom the beginning, this stay was inconvenient. For the price we paid, we expected better service and basic amenities. It’s disappointing that the host focused more on extra fees than on providing quality service to their guests. I’m sharing this review so future guests can set realistic expectations and decide if they’re willing to deal with these shortcomings.

Despicable Company
We haven’t even gotten through our first night of stay here, we have been sat here on the couch of this apartment for 3.5 hours trying to negotiate a refund out of these scam artists because the place is disgusting. -Shower screen is completely missing and the actual frame itself is off the tracks and flopping around.- There is MOULD in the microwave and in the bottom kitchen cupboards, along with a large array of cleaning chemicals with lids missing and used cleaning rags flung all over the place. - Hairs, dust balls and dead bugs on the floor. Dust covering ALL surfaces. - A clothesline of crusty towels that are still damp from obviously being used to “clean” the place before we checked in. - 2 pairs of old sandals sitting in the kitchen, used soap bar and other personal shower products left in the shower, eggs (who knows how old) left in the fridge. - Bedroom cupboard door completely broken and barely hanging onto the tracks. - The main door has a lock but there is a deadbolt and a chain lock that is completely out of commission and makes the security of this place even less than it already is. I wouldn’t have any other way of describing this other than this is verging on a crackhouse. The pure audacity this “company” has portraying themselves as some legitimate business and refusing to take accountability for this appalling situation is vile.

Nightmare
The room was terribly dirty, the mattress was covered in hair and blood and urine stains. The toilet smelled of urination and was full of whitish and blood spots. The fridge contained food scraps. In addition to that, the window didn't open properly and the door handle was damaged. It has been a nightmare.
