Disappointed…Poor Service and Expensive Lesson
Very disappointed with service and the expensive lesson. Waisted 3 days and paid over $1,000 for work that didn't need to be performed. I reported a thumping sound from the left front of the car. Butler technician stated he didn't hear a noise, but indicated the left side was hotter than the right side, so they replaced a part. When I picked up the car the noise was still there after I pulled away from the shop. I was asked to give them another chance to fix the problem. I took the technician out around the block, and he stated, yeah, I hear the sound. Well, they failed the second time as well; they swapped the part to opposite side. The final result? Thumping noise persists. The manager stated he took the car out and could not hear a "thumping noise," but in the same breath stated, "I hear a little tire noise, but that's all. Horrible! I think they realized they made a mistake. Insult to injury, my sister riding in the car for the first time: We drove 100 yards when she asked: "What's that noise, is it coming from the car?" Get a second opinion before you sign off on work for this Butler location. I will never again trust "Butler" to do it.
