This is how a bookstore should be
This is how a bookstore should be -- and how bookstores used to be. They have places to sit and peruse a book, most with great natural light or in a cozy nook. They have a ton of events: readings, interviews, classes, workshops. The staff probably know everything about every book in their store. There's also a cafe, which is one of my favorite places to sit and read or write. They used to offer a full menu before the pandemic but never brought that back, unfortunately. Still, a bookstore with a cafe is an incredible thing to find so I will gladly enjoy my books and coffee.
