Blue Dog Moving, LLC (Clifford & Erika Pollard) destroyed a custom pool table on 7/21/25. Seller photos prove was perfect @ pickup. After the crew rushed off w/ $670 COD, the table was found to have split rails & crushed surfaces. Olhausen experts deemed it unrepairable.Instead of addressing damages brought immediately to his attention, Clifford ignored calls. My friend was in the ICU & couldn’t get anywhere. When I called from an unfamiliar number, Clifford answered quickly thinking I was a new customer — but once he learned my call was about the damaged table, he proceeded to screen my calls too, and ignore mess’s left.We offered solutions (insurance claim, payment plan). In return, Blue Dog mailed a fake cease-and-desist letter from a fictitious law firm — a clear act of retaliation. In yet another shocking twist, exercising her consumer rights, found Clifford Pollard escalated his retaliation, invading my family friend’s privacy, making outward attempts to tarnish her reputation & employment. Under California’s Consumer Legal Remedies Act, businesses cannot retaliate against consumers seeking redress.Clifford Pollard is not only an unethical business owner unwilling to take responsibility for his company’s damage to property, but BEWARE! This man is dangerous! The company is unlicensed, uninsured, retaliatory, & a serious risk to consumers.

I am posting my experience regarding serious misconduct, negligence, and illegal operation by Blue Dog Moving, LLC, operated by Clifford and Erika Pollard.On July 21, 2025, Blue Dog’s crew delivered and reassembled a custom Murrey & Sons, Inc. pool table for my close family friend. The seller provided time-stamped photos showing the table in perfect condition prior to pickup. Upon delivery, the crew collected $650 COD and left immediately, without allowing inspection. Within 30 minutes, severe damage was discovered, including but not limited to a split rail. Olhausen experts confirmed the table was unrepairable.At the time, my friend was sitting in the ICU beside her critically ill husband. She immediately attempted to reach Clifford via calls and text with photos — ignored for days. She asked me, an out-of-state friend, to help. When I called from a new number, Clifford answered within 15 minutes — apparently mistaking me for a potential new customer — promised to return her call immediately, but never did. This demonstrates deliberate call avoidance and evasion.I left multiple respectful messages offering solutions: payment plans, insurance claims, pleading for communication minimally through email contact if telephonic calls were “uncomfortable” for Clifford. I acknowledged possible cash-flow issues and noting California consumer protections. I explicitly stated that neither I nor my friend wanted complaints or reviews posted, nor to harm Clifford’s business, but desired resolution. Instead, Clifford sent a cease-and-desist letter to my attention from a fictitious law firm at a fake address tied to a Robocall Spam contact phone number, threatening legal and financial consequences if complaints were posted or regulatory agencies contacted. The letter even incorrectly used my full legal name, a detail demonstrating both incompetence and targeted intimidation.Unlicensed OperationCalifornia Household Goods & Services records show Blue Dog Moving’s permit (Cal-T192711) was canceled June 23, 2024 for failure to maintain required insurance and pay fees. Despite this, they continued operating into 2025, including this July 21 delivery. Consumer reviews confirm ongoing business activity. The company was therefore operating illegally and without insurance, creating serious consumer risk.This complaint documents property damage, deceptive and evasive conduct, intimidation through a fabricated law firm, and unlawful operation. I strongly urge consumers practice due diligence whether Clifford Pollard’s or Erika Pollard’s Blue Dog Moving, LLC company, but any and all company’s attached to them.If the LLC conducts their operation in an unacceptable manner, the same unacceptable business operation and devoid customer service values will continue.

Absolutely Appalling Experience with Blue Dog Moving Company - A Warning!I'm writing to strongly warn anyone considering Blue Dog Moving Company. My experience was a complete disaster, ending with severe, irreparable damage to my valuable pool table.During the move, Blue Dog Moving Company's team grossly mishandled my pool table. The negligence was blatant: the rails were not only badly scratched, but one rail was cracked so severely it can't bear any weight. This wasn't a minor issue; it rendered my pool table practically unusable and fundamentally devalued.What followed was infuriating: absolute radio silence. Despite numerous attempts via phone and email, they've ghosted me entirely. They've made zero effort to acknowledge the damage, offer repairs, or provide compensation. Their complete disregard for customers and their property is beyond unacceptable and unethical.Blue Dog Moving Company is unprofessional, negligent, and utterly unreliable. They've shown a shocking lack of accountability. Avoid this company at all costs unless you're prepared for your belongings to be damaged and your concerns completely ignored. They deserve no business.

Avoid at all costs. Nice enough crew but they haphazardly threw our belongings into the shipping container and truck with no respect at all to proper packing or making sure things wouldn't get broken. It was a total mess. Didn't listen to our repeated requests to wrap items and stacked things in a way that would make them break. We had to unpack and repack the entire thing after they left. Horrible experience. Agree with other review that states they will ghost you and not return calls after the fact.

This is the worst moving company I’ve ever dealt with. If they break your property they put you on ghost mode and you are ignored. They won’t return your calls or try to remedy the situation. They were paid $670 to move and set up a slate pool table. When I inspected the table there was a long crack going down the corner pocket rail. They apparently didn’t know how to install a pool table. You can see in the photos that I took that they over tightened the corner rail tension bolts. They compressed the wood on the inside and out rendering the for pool table useless. I asked for a full refund for delivery charge paid in cash $670 and for the full refund of the pool table they broke, also paid in cash of $500. Clifford said he had to talk to his team. Which was all bullshit! He now has my phone number as a blocked number! The worse moving company ever! I don’t believe they even have a license to operate!! He’ll take your cash then block your phone number. Once Clifford has collected his money, regardless of amount or company inflicted damage, his position is the customer no longer is profitable, so will receive no customer service, return phone call, NOTHING! Making this matter worse, Clifford knowingly exploited my family during our worst and most vulnerable time. If considering hiring or already have hired Clifford Pollard aka Blue Dog Moving, LLC, I strongly recommend any other Moving Company other than Blue Dog Moving, LLC or any business affiliated with Clifford or Erika Pollard. All our good faith efforts to come to resolution were met by claims of Clifford being “harassed”, followed by an unfounded and threatening Cease and Desist document created by who we believe was in fact a representative of Blue Dog Moving, LLC posing as a fictitious California Attorney, signed Jennifer Lopez. The ridiculousness never ends!WARNING: cancel any orders you may have with Clifford because he will rob ya at your worse possible moment. I hope you read this Clifford! Every effort has been made to work with Clifford and his company only to be reduced to the above mentioned financial loss, the financial impact to hire an Attorney and the need to spend valuable time sharing my experience in hopes of protecting other consumers. My experience and reviews will be posted far and wide. In my case, our numbers have been blocked but feel free to call them see what happens to you. 8/7/25 is when my wife was taken advantage of by these crooks! In closing and to be fair, I want everyone to know, during such a painful time in our lives, my wife and I have given Clifford ample opportunity to make the situation right. In fact, I believe we have shown Clifford far more patience than the average customer only to be met at every turn with a new and unreasonable obstacle. As mentioned, the latest, blocking all contact numbers after “legal” threats were made. My purpose in posting this review is to help other innocent and unsuspecting consumers never experience what I had to . This pool table was purchased with purpose and meant for me as was my wife’s wish as she sat helplessly by my side hours that turned into days, into weeks during my hospitalization. She clung to the hope of a beautiful Welcome Home gift for me. To say Clifford showed zero lack of compassion is an understatement. I hope no one ever finds themselves in the position my wife did, only to then find this matter falling into my lap when I should have been recovering and still put through Clifford’s and Blue Dog Moving LLC hoops to no avail.
