This experience was absolutely terrible and unprofessional
This experience was absolutely heartbreaking for our family, especially because it was meant to be a special celebration for my niece’s 1st birthday. My sister handled all communication with the decorator, and everything below is based on what she went through — but the stress, panic, and disappointment affected every single one of us.From the moment the deposit was paid, things started to feel wrong. My sister’s messages were ignored, and when the decorator did respond, her replies were vague, dismissive, and made us feel completely unimportant. It felt like she simply didn’t care.Then, just two days before the party, she randomly demanded an extra £50 travel fee — something that was never mentioned before. Adding a hidden charge at the last minute, right before a baby’s birthday, is not just unprofessional… it’s honestly disrespectful.She also didn’t even bother to take my sister’s actual contact details and relied on Instagram calls. Because of this ridiculous lack of professionalism, my sister missed her early morning call about supposed van trouble. When she realised, she panicked and called back over 20 times — desperately trying to get answers — and was ignored over and over again.The party started at 1pm. She finally sent a message around 12:30 saying she was “on the phone” and would call back in a minute. That call never came. No update. No explanation. No cancellation. Nothing.We were left in complete limbo on the morning of a once-in-a-lifetime milestone — a baby’s first birthday — trying to hold back tears while scrambling to fix a mess she created. Instead of enjoying the morning with my niece, we were stressed, frantic, and honestly devastated.To make everything worse, we later learned from someone else that she had done something similar to them — cancelling last minute and leaving them stranded too. Hearing that honestly broke any remaining trust we had.This whole situation took away joy from a day that should have been beautiful and memorable for our family. The lack of care, professionalism, and basic human decency was shocking.I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Please think twice before trusting this business with your special event. It’s simply not worth the risk.

I am absolutely furious with the service I received from this vendor. My friend’s child’s first birthday was completely ruined because of her shocking lack of professionalism. My friend was incredibly organised, sent multiple follow-ups, and did everything right on her end — yet the vendor simply did not maintain proper communication. She didn’t even provide a phone number to call, and when we tried reaching her through Instagram, she ignored the calls.She was booked for 12pm, yet suddenly claimed she tried to Instagram-call at 9am the day of to say she “broke down.” Nobody received anything. On the day, she ignored message after message, even though several people tried contacting her. Where was the contingency plan? Why wasn’t a backup vehicle arranged? Speaking as someone who rents vans regularly, it absolutely is possible to rent one within an hour — so the excuse about not getting one until 3pm felt completely unbelievable.To make things worse, she later tried to throw in a random £50 travel charge even though she clearly hadn’t checked the distance beforehand. The whole thing was messy, unprofessional, and incredibly stressful, especially since the entire party theme and setup depended on the backdrop she was supposed to deliver.And here’s the part that pushed me over the edge: that SAME afternoon, while supposedly “broken down,” she posted an Instagram story of another setup she did. If she was able to work elsewhere, why was our booking ignored? It felt like we were pushed aside for something more convenient for her.In my personal opinion, this behaviour was absolutely disgraceful. I will 100% be warning others not to book with her. No one planning a special day deserves this kind of treatmentShe doesn’t even deserve one star.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Hired this company for my sons birthday as come across the page on Instagram.. paid deposit and discussed how important this event was.. was told at time of booking that she will be in touch… not heard anything so decided to contact again a week n half prior to event was told id get a call bk— no call so called myself — phone was off — waited till morning left messages calls— no response— then sent a insta message where i got a response saying id get a call 30 mins later—- waited nothing happened paniced and booked The charm events(highly recommended) then got a message saying shes gana add a train ect the theme was Hot Airballoon… 0 communication skills— if you want anxiety and stress then this is the company— no offer to give my refund back but was told she wasted time n money when she already had a train so dnt know what she wasted money on— very unprofessional and apparently other ppl in the industry have confirmed this is not the first time shes done this. Avoid at all cost!

Had such a bad experience with this company! The person i spoke to was Jessica holmes. My sons first birthday party i planned with her since march (i paid my deposit to secure the date) However, i should have seen the red flags when we set up a meeting last month & she didn’t answer my calls. Finally, got in touch after 2 days from our original meeting, we confirmed everything on the phone for my son’s outdoor party. She then messaged me the eve before my sons birthday party to say she is uncertain about the weather as its forcasted rain and she didn’t want her stuff getting wet, i mentioned that is not an issue as we have plenty of indoor space also. I called her 4 times on separate occasions to discuss our options and she never picked up. Shes very unprofessional. And lacks communication skills, (it didn’t even rain btw) she even asked me to change the date which i planned for months 🤣 on the day of the party i called her in the morning to see what was going on since she stopped communicating, she didn’t pick up or call back, obviously at this point i had to accept she wasn’t gonna turn up. I didn’t receive any calls from her or a proper apology for ruining my sons birthday party. She left me with no time to even get a back up option for my sons birthday, she was doing everything including the goodybags i had nothing for my son’s birthday because she lacked to communicate with me Even a week earlier if she was having concerns about the weather. I would have been able to find an alternative deco company if given plenty of notice. I do believe she doubled booked me or knew she couldn’t fulfill my request but didn’t have the decency to let me know. After telling her i was not happy and will be writing a bad review, she blocked me 🤣Atleast she had the decency to pay back my deposit. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, very unprofessional and lacks communication skills.

If I could give zero stars I would!!!
If you would like to have a unprofessional party planner then book with her! We had book her for my nephew’s first birthday party which took place last weekend ( from decoration, bouncy castle, chairs and gift bag etc). She had let us know the day before the event she will not be attending or helping any any way due to weather concerns. Which we understand and have several indoor spaces that were available (the equipment would have been collected before it was due to rain; even advising willing to pay for damages if the forecast changed earlier).What we were met with was even more unprofessionalism not answering phone calls or responding to messages. All in all worst kids party planning company. Would advice to avoid at all costs !!!! The organisers instead of providing us a genuine apology, has now resulted in blocking my sister as she advised will be leaving an honest review of her experience.
