I was thrilled to find out the ring I’d been dreaming of for years already existed at Ben Garelick (one of their original designs), but I was even more excited to find out it was surprisingly affordable and customizable. I reached out to ask about pricing and spoke with the owner himself, who really took the time to answer all my questions and provide upfront quotes. He never tried to upsell or pressure me and he offered to price-match the diamond, which saved me enough money to upgrade a full half carat and still come in under budget. Financing was a breeze and shipping was fast and secure. Buying from an individually owned and operated jewelry store instead of a big box retailer made all the difference in the world. I wasn’t treated like just a number on an invoice and I have peace of mind knowing they stand behind their work. This ring is a dream come true and I’ve enjoyed every step of the process with Ben Garelick. I can’t wait for my kids to fall in love so I can introduce them to Peter for their engagement rings!

We live in Australia and were looking for an engagement ring made by a particular designer (Kirk Kara). Ben Garelick was one of only two authorised retailers at the time, as the brand isnt available in Australia at all. Its not an easy decision to buy expensive jewelery from an online store, especially when its in another country. Theres a concern about the quality, fraud, and you cant see or touch the item so its a big leap of faith. However we had an amazing experience and would not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone, anywhere. We communicated entirely through email, and nothing was too much of a problem. From the sizing of the ring, and how it should feel when it goes on, and the amount of difficulty in getting it off, to even offering us a discount code for the checkout, we just had a wonderful, comforting, experience. We would absolutely buy from here again. A small warning to Australian residents in particular, the Government held our ring in customs until we could fill out a declaration form about the cost of the ring, and pay the import duties and GST on the entire purchase including the postage! LOL so ridiculous. So my advice would be if youre planning on going to the US, make the purchase when youre there, then have the item delivered to your hotel, and definitely dont declare it when you get back!! Otherwise budget for around 12% (to be safe) on top of the online price after conversion to AUD.

The Honora happy earring backs are wonderful. They do just want they are suppose to to do make your earrings stand up on your ears. Also the packing was wonderful already gift wrapped in a lovely pouch. Thank You. Thinking I'll be ordering another pair . Oh my goodness they were outstanding to work with so helpful and fast.
