These people are FRAUDS !!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD NUMBER !!!!!!
It's a scam. Don't trust them. They pretend to be EPSON on the google search page. Then they ask you to put your credit card info for a «refundable one time 5$ fee», but they charge you 50 then....
This website had me believing that it was an HBO MAX help site. I was in a chat and said what my problem was. The chat was $5 to talk to a technician, and it was refundable. I proceeded to fill out the form, which included my credit card. My husband called me and told me that my credit card company told him there was a $65 charge that went on my credit card. My bank credit card did not accept the charge, and the bank is sending us new cards. I am so embarrassed. I usually don't get conned like that. Lesson learned!
First told by ASKTECH $5.00 for basic Q & A. Billed $5.00 plus $48.00. Got another bill for $48.00. Called ASKTEC was told I signed up for svcs. Told ASKTEC did not knowingly sign up & "how do I cancel?" ASKTECH told me they would cancel. Again Billed $48.00 next bill cycle. Called ASKTECH again 01/12/26 to find out why not cancelled & that their charges are NO LONGER HONORED via my Crdt Crd.
I was trying to get information from Spotify about my account and ASKTECH support popped up. I immediately got out of their site but they charged me $5. and then $70 for a membership I did not apply for. I did not give them my bank information or any other info at all. They are a fraudulent company and their "tech support" will do nothing! P.S. I hounded them every day for a week and got my money returned! Worth a shot!
Do not use this company under any circumstance. Very disceptive advertising. They say there is a $5 refundable deposit and then charge $48. It is a scam!!!
THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM OPERATION.
this is a scam
I want to cancel my subscription
Was online with Apple trying to link up my Peacock service with Apple TV for the new streaming Bundle they are offering. I was under the impression they charged a $5 fee until I got my credit card statement with an additional $48 charge. Let it go but they charged me again this month. Now have to get new credit card since the idiots at Apple can't seem to help. Needless to say I went back to just my Peacock account because I could never get the link for the bundle to work and you can't go through Roku.
This is a SCAM. You ask Just Answer the question, they assign a "professional" from that area of expertise, who never really resolves the issue. DON'T CHECK THE BOX for payment. They charged me $276 in 3 months for a service they never performed. If you have been hooked in. The number to cancel is 1-800-240-1371
Most definitely a scam. Popped up when I was trying to contact Comcast. Was told there was a one time, refundable fee of $1.00 then charged me $46 and signed me up monthly. Do not ever use this site!!!
I noticed a new recurring $48 debit on my card for AskTech, but had not used them or even heard from them. Contacting them, they asked for card and personal info, co I cleared out and I'm going to my bank tomorrow to contest the charge.
Same experience as others. Had a question about my tax return with turbo tax. Linked me to a asktec . Paid. A guy came on the phone and said I owed tax and hung up. And a monthly payment hard to cancel 😞
I wished there was a zero to choose from. Very fraudulent company…. They hask for $5 to get a technical issue solved, but they immediately charged you a membership monthly fee of $50. They are NOT transparent and that’s how they generate their revenue. Moreover the technician didn’t solve my problem. I wonder if they actually have a trained team?? He offered options which I had already tried and didn’t work. I thought I was dealing with an expert…. NOT. please stay away from this company. They are scammers and scavengers, taking advantage of people’s trust.
Sorry, you don’t have choice for zero stars. I’m complaining about a problem started by you, now you want more $$ from me before you start. It’s a annoying circle concocted to frustrate customers.
Can't write a review with Zero Stars, so they get one! The Bimbo who answered the phone told me that I'd be charged $5.00 and if the tech couldn't help. I'd be refunded. When I found out that it was not Quickbooks support, I said, you are not from the company, refund my $5. Instead, they charged my card $55 last month and again $48 this month. They are a total scam
Was referred to them by Yahoo customer service. I was locked out of my account and asked if they could change the number associated with 2FA or backup email, which they could not do either. They charged my $69 and never mentioned it was reoccurring. Just had another charge go through which I did not authorize. This is fraud plain and simple.
This is less then one starThis company is a total scamThey tell you they are going to charge your credit card for $1 and they put another charge of $46 they did NOTHING to fix my problemI don’t understand how they are allowed to do business on the internetShameful Scam
