Even after years of working with Dan…
Even after years of working with Dan and AOS, I’m repeatedly amazed at the quality of the garments and how easy the process is for making adjustments to my fit. I absolutely love my new lambswool shacket and trousers. Soft, hearty, and easy to mix into my existing wardrobe.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Great products. Easy process. I got a custom capsule and the only challenge we had was fitting my jackets - after some back & forth they fit great. Later, I ordered a suit jacket and it was delivered near perfect. Really like how they work with you, adjust, and remember those adjustments.

Fantastic experience from start to…
Fantastic experience from start to finish concluded by receiving a one-of-a-kind suit with an impeccable fit. Incredibly thankful I wasn’t in a rush and could experience the process of a fitting before receiving my final suit. Doing so allowed me to provided necessary feedback which honed the fit to perfection. P.S. Can’t wait to add some items from the Mr. Purple capsule to my closet.

I’ve got my first item (moleskin pants)…
I’ve got my first item (moleskin pants) from the capsule designed by Dan and his team. I was really impressed, because pants felt like my second skin and were very proportional and improve my figure and whole image. Dan not only change your style, but actually change the way you think. Often it’s more important than clothes you wear.

Incredible!
I have now ordered a number of items from AoS (two suits, a shacket, knitwear and three pairs of trousers). I honestly couldn’t believe the fit of the try-on suit from my first order. I have had a number of bespoke and made to measure suits from tailors in London and the fit of the try-on was better than all of them. A few very small tweaks to the first suit that AoS reimbursed and nothing needed since then. I also find Dan’s advice invaluable and he is very responsive. AoS really deliver on their promises!

Great job helping me figure out a capsule that represents my likes
I was incredibly impressed with how the team was able to figure out a versatile capsule wardrobe for me from the initial meeting. They prompted me with great questions and built an amazing capsule with a different variety of garments based on my particular needs. The quality of the fabrics is amazing and the fit is incredible for the first time through the process. I will definitely be back to add some pieces.

Beautiful garments, with a few bumps along the way
After many years of watching the blog, then the site, I finally completed my first capsule wardrobe with Articles of Style, and overall, I’m very happy with the final result. The garments are all fantastic. The fabrics are luxurious, the designs are sharp and timeless, and the construction quality is as good as advertised. I’ve never felt more put-together than I do in these clothes and trust they'll last a long time. That said, my experience wasn’t without its challenges.Communication after placing my order was slower than expected, likely due in part to the team being in the middle of a new collection shoot. While understandable, it still impacted my confidence during the process... especially for a purchase at this price point, where the experience is seemingly meant to feel bespoke and collaborative.Additionally, the trial garments arrived significantly off my measurements. While I was impressed with how well the final jacket came out (right on the money) all of the trousers required fairly major alterations after delivery. This was made more astounding given the knitwear tops were all perfect... I can't imagine a man wearing one of those shirts while also fitting the trousers as received. (To their credit, AoS did refund those costs in store credit, which I appreciated.) At the end of the day, I genuinely love the clothes and will no doubt continue building my wardrobe with AoS, but I’d advise new customers to budget in some extra time and possibly expect a bit of back-and-forth to get everything dialed in just right.If you’re after timeless, custom-made style and don’t mind a few wrinkles in the process, AoS is absolutely a great place to start.

Great suit
The suit fits very well and the construction is superb. However, it seems some of my measurements were ignored seeing that I have a bit of a tummy and I wear high rise trousers. The trousers I received were incredibly tight and a normal rise. Luckily the suit comes with plenty of fabric to make these adjustments.

AOS is truly best in class!
To have 1:1 time with Dan, or any other AOS personnel, is where I will start. Their attentiveness to what MY needs are is what truly stands out. Then, they have a plethora of options for your garment(s), and offer suggestions based upon what we discussed during our zoom meeting. I now have half of my wardrobe from AOS, and it fits like a glove and looks fantastic. The only regret someone will have, is not having infinite budget.

Perfect Made-To-Measure Moleskin Trouser
I purchased a made-to-measure moleskin trouser. It fits perfectly! Absolutely zero alterations needed. The trouser itself is insanely soft and comfortable (just as advertised.) As always AoS has exceptional customer service. They’re really helpful and patient and respond quickly. It’s nice to work with a small business that prizes quality service!
